Just to clarify I haven't got mine yet, 6 boxes have  shipped and are currently in customs, and have been for the past 3 days with a "clearance event" holding things up.

I had to reach out to DHL and provide my tax ID before customs released them. Have you called them yet?

It's been sorted now. Delivery should be soon.

Good to hear. I got my first Halong units yesterday -- They're all hashing about 10% above advertised spec with a bit less power pull than advertised too Smiley

this means 16th x 1.1 = 17.6th  and  a bit under 1480 watts   or say 1460 watts.

I would love to see this.  with meters and not type set.

I still don't have my demo and no tracking or contact from them.

So I have contacted forum member to see if they would be willing to send me a unit. for testing.

Since you claim to have really good ones send me one so I can show clear evidence that the gear is better then spec.

I'm based out of Central Washington, right in the biggest cluster of cryptocoin mining in the US (and pretty much on the West Coast as Seattle is only about 2 hours driving time away). I have over a decade of work experience each as an Electronic Tech and a Computer Tech.

Anyone have any experience with this GPU?

There are two different ones.

One is only water block you need to add pump and radiator.


The other has a built in pump and radiator.

I like the built in pump and radiator style.

I have 14 pump radiator style 1080tis all have more then 2 years warranty left.

I may sell the Evga hybrids that I own 1080tis.

Now to be more clear.  It is risk free only if you do escrow.  Any investment into tokens not escrowed in the escrow address are not insured.

I am also having an issue with coinbase and I do a lot of escrows with them.  They asked me to stop doing escrows and using my coinbase  account.

So if we get this going  here I will use a new address  generated on a Trezor wallet.

Doing this type of escrow is a bit different for me. What I want people to understand is that I am only going to be responsible for funds invested into the escrow.

I also need to do more research on this as  I see a flaw.

Ie   I escrow say 2 btc in investment.  and 5 btc is invested by others in non escrow as they are promised a better return.

Op  skips I pay the 2 btc escrowed and op scores 5btc from the bolder investors .  I am transparent guy and  I studied this idea of op and this is my concern at the  moment.

this  was done  to me in a big s-9 sale  where  say 3btc was collected by me for gear and seller asked for separate shipping fees of around 300 usd for all the s-9's  he skipped with the shipping funds

I paid back the s-9 gear money and gave back all my escrow fees  to pay the shipping money lost.

So based on that I have a concern if op gets a lot of btc in non escrow .  say 5btc non escrow and 2 btc escrow.

I post this concern to the forum as I have yet to see a way around this possibility happening.



I have decided to not escrow this.

Besides  the mentioned worries above I have been doing a lot of escrows and I have been asked to stop my escrow service.

So between my worries about this one above  and the request to cease and desist escrows I won't be doing any escrows at all.

I understand the idea of a 75 amp seems cool but I would not go that route.

Hp makes a four socket pdu for 30 amp circuits

Runs 4 s9s with ease.

I get them on eBay for 35-50 dollars.

I am doing a bit on nicehash   with a few cpus.
The funny part is, the main reason I wanted to remove the devfee;  is because nanopool emails me every time the any miner goes offline for the dev share.    

I haven't had the email all night now... but I wont stop with my old cards mining XMR until I reach the 1XMR payout limit.


Still trying my luck with RVN... holding off on my usual zpool steady earnings to get at least 1K coins saved up... who knows.  may become gold.

BUB on yobit has begin to climb again.... Dev went silent (as he said he may be) and people panic sold.  the dev bought most of the coins.   Ive been buying a bunch myself.   Dev announces hes been buying the coins and others notice the prime wallet growing again....  im already over 4x my investment;  so; to the moon with her Wink  Its only just begun.

I'm getting 100% rejected shares with xmr-stak from simplemining. This is my config, I'm guessing is ok and problems with the pool?

yes.  RX560;  nanopool.  XMR-stak.
I have a compiled version with devfee set to zero.  Can be found in the batch link in my sig.



Just noticed today:

XMR went from 60+Mh to a little over 20Mh nethash.


A minimum of half of network hashrate either:

A: All miners shut down because XMR was not profitable to mine anymore and they just so happened to pick the same day, time and block to do so.

b: There were a LOT more asics out there than people thought there were.

Mining is very risky, and compared to just buying coins when they are low, probably not as profitable.  Its a really, really, really good investment if you know what you are doing and will stay informed and interested over years and keep at it.  just dont think its easy.

Investing is a lot more risky - someone that bought into Bitcoin (or pretty much any cryptocoin) in January has already lost well over half of their investment, while a MINER has generally been making money over that timeframe if they don't have crazy-high power rates and use fairly recent equipment.

The "up" side of investment can be a lot higher - but the "down" side is also a LOT lower - compared to mining.


I'm still not seeing ANYTHING on current cards locally for less than MSRP, and the few listings I AM seeing are still at a premium.
Downside of being in a "super cheap" electric rate area - folks around here are NOT turning off their rigs yet.





my rigs are paid off.

if a 1080ti set to 200 watts uses 5kwatts a day at 20 cent power that is a dollar in power cost.

As long as the card earns more then a dollar a day may as well run it.

my guess is the gigabyte card combined with the msi card cause a conflict .

 Well on the subject of lawsuits.

 Lets say the gear works safely and the one issue it has is it does 15.25 th at 1550 watts.

If that statement turns out to be pretty far off the mark on unit after unit after unit
There is a possibility that people will look for refunds or compensation.
 -ck has said firmware tweaks  may get the power lower.
 this is an indication they did not meet  the specs


so 1480/16000 =  0.0925 watts a gh

and if they avg

1550/15250  = 0.1016 watts a gh  it is off by 9.837% 

It remains to be seen just how many units will come close to 16000 gh at 1480 watts at that wall.

the status on the gear is :

1) it is real
2) some t1's reached real members --  Edit> long time miners on this site
3) it works on 2 pools --- Edit > slush and -ck kano may add his pool
4) it appears that  it does 0.10 watts per gh -- Edit> based on info from elokk 
5) no one has demo'ed a unit  doing 16th at 1450 watts ------  Edit > other then Halong early video

basically  I am still waiting for my test unit.

I have very little  hash power     for xmr/xmo

The  P106-100 I have been testing was  next to flawless  running zec.  It never crashed  and gpus stayed under  70c at all times in a 85f-97f room.

The current state of gpu mining  is a bit low for profit.  But A low power setup and these are still okay.

One) the gear needs to show it can do 10-20 better then the s-9 or the 841.

So far more hash more power used and very close to 0.10 watts a gh

And limited to two pools.  At these numbers not good and not worth modding your pool or buying.

Pretty much a bust.

Now if it tweaks with firmware and goes to 16th and 1425 watts it will cause issues.

you must not have had an onda B250-D8P yet...

card spacing is almost 3x.... 2.160 inches between each 16x slot.  That's pretty damned good spacing.


TONS of space between cards, and enough space in between EVGA ACX2.0/3.0 coolers.....  All you should do with those bigger cards is have active cooling across them, which is the norm anyways.

yeah  you can do 205 to 215 watts  for the evga hybrids zero issues

and I do 200  with blower cards and a pair of these

you can run 7 full size 1080ti's and the zotac 1080 ti mini

but since I cut back on cards I just run 4 1080tis  per board  zero cooing issues while I wait for new nvidia
