2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 31, 2018, 10:37:23 PM
Odds in Nitrogensports for GSW is -1220 while for Cabs its +679. I have this feeling again to place my bet on Cavs this time. But last years finals might happen again when GSW started the Finals strong till the last game. Aside from Nitrogensports whats a good site to play sports? I use to play with Betcoin.ag but their chips to BTC conversion is sometimes confusing me.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Pacquiao vs Matthysse July 15 2018 on: May 31, 2018, 05:00:51 PM
One thing that came to my mind is Chavez Sr. vs Oscar Dela Hoya, but Chavez Sr. is not as quick as Pacquiao though. Yes, the Marquez fight really put a psychological barrier to Pacquiao so to speak. He is not that aggressive and somewhat hesitant because he is afraid that he might be caught by another Hail Mary Punch and put him to sleep again. For the Mayweather fight, they promise to deliver a good fight, however, we all know how defensive Floyd is so Pacquiao trying his best to at least get a good shot at Mayweather that's why he let go of his lefts, unfortunately it wasn't enough.
This is a good observation and I also think that after Marquez fight, all his (Manny) moves are very much calculated to avoid that lucky punch again. His animal instinct inside the ring is not there anymore. The last time we saw a great KO courtesy of Manny is when he fought Ricky Hatton last 2009. But, we have to give him credit too if most of his match now is catch weight, most of his last fights, opponent is bigger and heavier but still he managed to win.
2063  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Technical analysis and its basics in cryptocurrency on: May 31, 2018, 04:53:23 PM
Hello guys, i have any questions about technical analysis. What are the most effective tools for technical analysis? And what do you advise me as a novice trader yet?
What works for others may not work for you, it depends on the trading style and their appetite for profits. For me I use , Bollinger Bands, RSI and Parabolic SAR. Bollinger Bands tells me where the price is heading and up to how high it may reach. Parabolic SAR gives a signal if its time to Buy or Sell while RSI tells you if the coin is over bought or over sold. Works for me 85% of the time.
2064  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Master the trading on: May 31, 2018, 04:31:47 PM
They say that day trading is a skill, so practicing should make you good at it right? How long someone from newbie to advanced should spend to be considered good?
Its a mix of practice, experience, knowledge and luck to be successful in trading. You to practice what you learned from your mentor or from the book that you are reading, if you don't apply what you learned then ts just a waste of time and money to join those trading 101 seminars. Luck? Yes you need those, some people disregard those airdrops, but I know someone who collects any airdrop that is available and he makes money from it.
2065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: After a Bad Sell on: May 31, 2018, 04:21:54 PM
Question is why did you sell your coins? If your answer is because there's an immediate need then you don't have to look back and regret why you sold your coins because there is a need for it. Did you make a research first before selling your coin? Because if you did, you should have at least an idea that there are chances that the coin you are holding will go up.

2067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How can online casinos Pay it forward? on: May 30, 2018, 03:26:14 PM
Traditional casinos can claim for a tax deduction if the donations are made to a charitable institutions that are recognized by the Government (there's a minimum amount that they can donate to claim), so paying it forward is more like it works for them too. Furthermore, I don't think one online casino would step up to plate and start this "pay it forward" thing because once they do this will expose them with their identities and their whereabouts and of course whats in it for them if they do it?
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling Versus Traditional Gambling on: May 30, 2018, 09:23:07 AM
What are the differences between online and traditional gambling ? Which you like the most and why ? In my opinion both the types of gambling have got their own advantages and disadvantages. You can try both for some time and then choose one based on your convenience.
I live in a place where it will take me 2 hours driving to reach the nearest casino (traditional brick and mortar) and before I even enter the place I would need to go through a lot security checks and I have to show them that I have enough money to spend before I can come in. This is one of the reason why I would rather play online than in real casino. I don't need to dress up and no one knows that I gamble since I do it inside my man cave.
2069  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin have more risks than benefits? on: May 30, 2018, 04:01:58 AM
I see more risks in holding a paper currency than Bitcoin. The paper currency that everyone is holding can be spent by anyone once it left your hands. So technically, the person sitting beside you can spend it, anytime, any day. The Bitcoin that you are holding cannot be taken away to you by anyone, one has to make a lot of effort to hack their way in to your wallet to transfer to another wallet and spend it.
2070  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do we need to regulate digital money on: May 30, 2018, 03:18:45 AM
Regulation works like a double edged sword. There's pro's and con's.
Pro's will be with regulation it open sits doors legally to every person who wants to have and hold Bitcoins legally. If they wan't to sell it, it would be easy because exchangers will be easier to find and the risk of being scammed is less since exhangers needs to go through a lot to do business. Downside is that regulation can be used by those who can pull a lot of strings to protect their business where Bitcoin acts as a threat. Those big businesses can call someone to create laws or regulation to give Bitcoin holders and users a hard time to use it and exchange it.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 29, 2018, 09:37:46 AM
Houston was able to hang on the first 2 quarters. But they shooting woes was already there its that GSW is also missing some shots. But at the start of the 3rd quarter, Golden State erase the lead so quickly that Houston didn't know what happen and then the shooting woes started to catch up on them. I don't know how many times Harden attempted a field goal and miss. Another lost opportunity for Chris Paul again, that injury really cost they the series and the finals against Cleveland Cavaliers.
According to some reports Houston missed 27 3-points attempts today. Just imagine if 50% of that 27 attempts we're successful that could have turned the tables around. Even if its just 30% of the 27 attempts it could have changed the future of Houston Rockets. Only 2 out of 13 3-points attempt we're successful for Harden. Houston Rockets played very well today and for sure they made GSW re-think of their strategies during the game.
2072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buy low and sell high is very tough on: May 29, 2018, 09:25:57 AM
When you ask someone for advise they always say buy low and sell high but this is very tough.

What is your strategy for buying low and selling high?

Do you agree with buy low and sell high is very tough?
Reason why the "buying low and selling high" strategy is hard for some is because their target is very high. When they say High, that doesn't mean aim for a 25% profit right away. A 3% profit is ok already, that's high enough for you to earn in a day. It's better to earn 3% on a daily basis than aim for 25% profit but it will take you a month or more. 3% per day is 90% in a month, that's something to keep in mind.
2073  Economy / Economics / Re: Wise thing to do with your savings. on: May 29, 2018, 04:07:49 AM
I see that many of you actually liked the concept of 20 % method wherein you allot 20% of your earnings to be saved as emergency fund.
So I was thinking, if that 20% allotted will be invested in a time deposit kind of account, will it still be possible to earn as much or invest it in cryptocurrency? Or maybe just let the money sleep until such time you will need it?
What will be a wise kove to do with the noney you have saved up?
If you have an emergency fund, that should not be saved somewhere where one is required to sign something or wait for a day or more to pull it out. Its an emergency fund, it should be ready at any time of the day. Money saved for investment is different from emergency funds. The emergency funds that I have is good for 3 months for me and my family to spend in case I don't have work.

Here's how I computed my emergency Funds.

Funds for Utilities (Water, Electricity, Cable, Internet, Mobile subscription)
Funds for daily expenses for 30 days (Food and transportation)
Funds for House rent
Funds for Car mortgage
Funds for insurance
Funds government social security
Funds for my sons daily allowance going to school.
Funds for extra activities

Total will be multiplied to 3 (months)

2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 29, 2018, 03:30:59 AM
Is this true that Chris Paul can't play today?

Houston Rockets' Chris Paul unlikely to play but game-time decision for Game 7

I read this first on FB and did a little bit of search but still can't say a thing about it.
Yes Chris Paul is out for Game 7 and its one of the reason why Houston Rockets need to step up their game. They can't rely only on Harden. Well game 7 is over and final score is 92 (Houston Rockets) - 101 (Golden State Warriors). Cleveland and GSW will face each other again in the Finals for the 4th time. I thought on the first half Houston Rockets have this in the bag.
2075  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Poloniex Verification issues on: May 28, 2018, 04:07:02 PM
Tried to read the posts in this thread to decide if I will go with the verification process of just leave Poloniex for good and upon reading comments, some got their accounts back while some accounts are still frozen. Question is if Poloniex is still worth the effort to go through that process when there are other exchange sites with better services. I guess I'll just leave it as is for now until I find a good reason to go through that KYC process.
2076  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is technical analysis useful? on: May 28, 2018, 03:51:14 PM
Technical analysis us useful for scalpers, its for those who wants to earn fast money but if you plan to use it for long term trading, you need to use more than technical analysis. You need to be updated with the coins or tokens that you are holding, regardless if its good news or bad news, you need to read it, weigh in and gather your thoughts if its time to let go or still hold.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: May 28, 2018, 03:17:10 PM
The "whatever it takes" slogan at first really applies to Cleaveland Cavaliers since they are playing without Kevin Love but on the 3rd and 4th quarter of game 7, the "whatever it takes" slogan should be the battle cry of Boston Celtics because Lebron James is playing like there is no tomorrow. Lebron James almost getting a triple double with 35 pts, 15 rebounds and 9 ast.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC FN 130: Thompson vs Till Info and Prediction Thread on: May 28, 2018, 02:58:53 PM
I didn't watch the fight but I read the play by play at Sherdog.  It looked like it was boring the first two rounds and picked up pace on the third round...?

Opinions?  Anybody?

I didn't watch the fight too but someone shared to me the results via twitter. The names in the fight card doesn't ring a bell to me, but maybe for someone who really follows MMA and UFC it is. This is the reason why I don't watch Fight Night just the main event like the upcoming UFC 225 Whittaker vs. Romero 2, its like watching the developmental territory of WWE. If they see a fighter with potential, they move to him/her to the big brands like Raw or Smack Down.

Speaking of UFC 225, do we have a thread for that already OP? I would like to read the others thoughts on this fight.
2079  Economy / Gambling / Re: ▂▃▅▆█ BITSLER █▆▅▃▂🎁NEW UPDATE★★★50% REFERRAL COMMISSION★★★🎁 on: May 28, 2018, 02:47:31 PM

Indeed the warning message about max bet has been removed during the last update because many players asked for it.

But it was probably not a good idea and even more players are complaining now, so it will come back after the next update  Smiley.

Cheers,
Gab
It maybe annoying to some but for someone with quick reflexes and for someone with a lot of funds in Bitsler, accidentally hitting the max button is a disaster. Its a nightmare that will haunt them for years, so bringing it back is actually a good idea.
2080  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bittrex or Poloniex. which one do you like to trade? on: May 27, 2018, 03:34:17 PM
bittrex is good then poloniex
Care to expound your comment as to why you choose Bittrex over Poliniex? I heard a lot of horror stories about Poloniex withdrawal issues but I guess its more on the Altcoin side withdrawal not the Bitcoin side but nevertheless if Poloniex still wants to be in the game they need to improve specially on the customer service side and this is one of the reason why I use Bittrex more than Poloniex and even Binance.
