Swap team every year--- 6th ranking team from 1st group --- top ranking team from 2nd group, based on performance. 3. 4. Should Zimbabwe be given $12 million every year, when promising teams such as Afghanistan and Ireland receive only a fraction of that amount? I think we’ll see players returning to training with their clubs in mid May, possibly like Germany in small groups with no tackling. I think the PL will start matches behind closed doors in mid to late June with 2 games a week so the season is finished before August.
I think all league will try to finish the season on June and Jully. Of course behind closed doors. August will be reserved for European competition, CL and UEFA League. Also, it is very possible we won't see open doors until the end of the year. If we have vaccine then its possible otherwise its going to take some long time as many governments already announces they will not take any risk until we have vaccine about this Corona. |

Yeah it has been indefinitely postponed. I do not see any possibility of this season happening this year. India Government has already extended the lockdown till May and after May there will be restriction to gathering and organising events. So, forget IPL this year. All the sports events are getting postponed for this year including the Olympics and Euro. We may remember 2020 as a No Sporting Year where no major sports event took place. Surely history will remember this as Lock down because most of countries in serious trouble and biggest population living in lock down even few parts of world have order shot at sight for this all. |

Just 3 matches and they can do this all any time in these months without any problem but happy we have some good news about this all in this lock down. I don't think it would be that easy to schedule these 3 matches anytime. They need to align with the foreign players who are part of these three matches if they are free at that time and also they have to see which other tournaments are planned by the ICC at the particular time so that there is no conflict of interest for the players. If these were some domestic club cricket with local player then it was not a big deal but when it involves international players then yes it's not very easy. By the way, although no one knows which way we are moving (pandemic crisis) but November and December seems very reasonable time frame. I hope by then we will have normal lifestyle. I doubt we can ever come back to normal life style again. The virus will be gone by that time but precautions will become a mandatory part of our life. Some of the major changes will be that people will never shake hands and social distancing will be practiced and will be considered a good habit. Another major thought will be that people can work form home (as it would have been tested successful for 2- 3 months) and hence a lot of costs could be save for office rents and travel to office costs etc. The world will be different before and after covid-19.
