2061  Economy / Economics / Re: Do you Still believe in Fiat? on: June 13, 2016, 10:51:40 AM
I definitely lost faith in fiat a few years ago, simply because I learned that the government was using it as a tool to manipulate the economy. The US is running into debt more and more to import more from its trading partners.

This will not sustain, and fiat will collapse.
2062  Economy / Economics / Re: Big Crash coming on: June 13, 2016, 10:50:51 AM
Just to let you guys know a big crash is coming in 2016 in the economy. There is going to be a huge financial crisis but it will be worse than 2009.

The bitcoin price will skyrocket to over $10,000. However  bitcoin will be banned in all western countries. If you are reading this living in the west you should make preparations to move to Russia or China they are the only places you will be safe owning bitcoins.

The crisis will be so big it will destroy entire countries and in 2017 there will be a civil war in the USA, UK and western europe. After this the world will never be the same again it will change so much by 2020 it will be unrecognizable compared to today.

definitely. Like Mike Maloney said in his video series, 2008 was just a threat of deflation and the real deflation will come much later. It's funny though to see how the house prices has again soared after the crisis.

Over investment kills, man. Can't overstate that.
2063  Economy / Economics / Re: So BitCoin is at $520 right now... Sell or Keep for a few more days? on: June 13, 2016, 10:49:34 AM
Well, it seems like you have posted this a few days back and if I had to give you an advice back then, it would have definitely been keep and hold the bitcoin for a few days. And I would have been right.

Now, I'd say trust your gut.  Anything could happen with the price.
2064  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you define "Decentralized Money"? on: June 13, 2016, 10:48:20 AM
Here is a possible definition:

The process of “money” is “knowing you’ve been paid”. A process has greater “decentralization” as it “occurs more locally”. Thus “decentralized money” is the local cost of knowing you’ve been paid: the cost of running a full node.

What's yours?
I believe that a decentralized currency has to be controlled by absolutely no one, and absolutely trustless. So you don't need to trust a bank to process your transfer, and not run away with your cash.

Like BTC is a great example of a decentralized currency.
2065  Economy / Speculation / Re: $652 - my laptop just exploded! on: June 13, 2016, 10:47:12 AM
This is amazing, the price is increased for almost +$80 for only 2 days. I'm really surprised and wondering what will happen in the upcoming weeks, we are very near to the halving. I didn't expected this to happen so far, let's hope the price will go even more higher (~$1k).

I know right. This has surprised me a lot over the past few days just how fast the price increases have come. I have been anticipating a lot of price increases, but never have anticipated this fast.

Completely mindblown.
2066  Economy / Speculation / Re: The Great Bitcoin Rally of 2016 on: June 13, 2016, 10:46:23 AM
The trend in the monetary world is having a cashless society. For good or bad, bitcoin could play an integral part and we stand to gain massively. Even a sum of 10 bitcoins will be life changing.

Yeah definitely. Bitcoin can be the perfect currency in a cashless, virtual society. We need a replacement for chunky people of gold and silver somehow, and the answer lies in Bitcoin in my opinion.

The party has just started boys Cheesy
2067  Economy / Speculation / Re: Prepare for a collapse... on: June 13, 2016, 10:45:13 AM
i don't see any collapse at worst a small correction toward 600-800, in other word expect a retract around now, and then again a consolidation before the enxt pump

Yeah, I don't see a collapse coming right now. Nothing like a economic crisis can happen to bitcoin since it is completely decentralized. But its price can adjust in the short term, but only the short term.

The general trend is going up. And it turns out you were wrong. The funds are probably already cleared and you've clearly made a profit.
2068  Economy / Speculation / Re: A lot of salty people right now on: June 13, 2016, 10:43:41 AM
I think there are indeed a lot of salty people right now for regretting not listening to r0ach's advice earlier when he told us all to buy in. And they continue to be retarded bears and not listen.

They have a very good reason to be salty, but: suck it up.
2069  Economy / Speculation / Re: When will the next All-Time-High happen? (And when the next bubble?) on: June 13, 2016, 10:38:32 AM

A different question would be 'when does the next bubble happen'

I guess to sell i don't wait for new ATH but i wait for the next bubble.. and then just try to sell at a good point (this will be bad haha)

When saying 'bubble' i don't even have a definition,
i just think about a time where
it's going up for a longer time and fast
and people going cracy only posting trains and rocketship-pictures.

Well, I think that it's probably going to be at around 2020 when a lot of people are adopting bitcoin as their new primary online payment method. When there is adoption, the price will rise.

Next bubble? Perhaps next halving. No one can tell.
2070  Economy / Speculation / Re: It is Buy time! on: June 13, 2016, 10:36:57 AM
I think it's still not late to buy and hold BTC.

Definitely not! It's always a good time to buy in some more BTC to add to your crypto portfolio, whatever the price is. You just gotta wait for those profits to come in the long term. You need patience with BTC.

I've bought some BTC already today. Gunna buy some more.
2071  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 (within a month?) on: June 13, 2016, 10:35:19 AM
Isn't bitcoin wonderful? Grin

Bitcoin has always been wonderful. The current price increase shows that long term holders get rewarded big time for their trust and patience.

The beautiful thing is that this rally is across the board! It supports what I've said all along... Those who accumulate for the long term usually come out way ahead of those who try to day trade.

Bitcoin $683.61 USD   10,699,313,242 USD   15,651,165   744,210,000 USD   + 9.16 %

Very nice stats there. If we can get this trend going strong until the halving day, then we'll certainly reach the 1200-1300 mark in no time at all. We can even exceed that mark by some margin.

Go go BTC!
2072  Economy / Speculation / Re: Deal with your problems by becoming rich with r0ach of Bitcoin on: June 13, 2016, 10:33:26 AM
Things are just warming up!

The party is just starting up, boys. Some people are already getting out of the market but seriously we still have a long way to go from this price. It's a long way from the top yet.

Bitcoin can make two kinds of people: salty people and rich people.
2073  Economy / Speculation / Re: This is starting to resemble late 2013 on: June 13, 2016, 10:30:42 AM
The climb to halving will be great. And then next thing you know after the halving there will be a massive sell off and then probably a bounce back up and stabilize. So get it will the getting is good.

Yeah, before halving there is always this great hype about the price, and since the price is partly psychology as well when people get hyped up they'll take more risks and pump up BTC price.

There may be a few adjustments along the way, but we'll get there eventually. Look, we've already achieved that $10 billion market cap!
2074  Economy / Speculation / Re: I locked the profit - SOLD ALL COINS on: June 13, 2016, 10:28:35 AM
Sold my coins today.  Bitcoin is overbought now.

In my opinion, no bitcoin is not overbought and I doubt it can ever be overbought because there are always sellers like you who are willing to cash out at a certain price in time.

But again, it's up to you. Your personal preferences matter.
2075  Economy / Speculation / Re: What do you do with your new wealth? on: June 13, 2016, 10:25:03 AM
Are you already used to be wealthy or still confused what just happened?

Well, I wished that I had sold my house and went all in with bitcoin earlier... The pump has been truly amazing and cannot be understated right now. The price is going over the roof.

I don't really have that much, i'm still getting used to this new bitcoin price though xD
2076  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price cycles on: June 13, 2016, 10:23:46 AM
There are definitely some bitcoin price cycles going on but it does take some figuring out to find out the exact patterns. But one of the most obvious ones is a huge pump before the halving, and perhaps an adjustment after halving.

If you can get hold of these cycles, you can make some seriously money.
2077  Economy / Speculation / Re: $32,300 --- How much $$ I sunk into bitcoin since Oct 2013 on: June 13, 2016, 10:21:51 AM
Liquidate whatever portion makes you feel comfortable if you need some cash.

Great advice but keep in mind that bitcoin prices may not come down from this high for another few months and if you get out of the market early you may regret your decision later.

But again, as you said, whatever comfortable for you.
2078  Economy / Speculation / Re: I AM HODLING on: June 13, 2016, 10:17:34 AM
The best thing is now holding now and that is really nice but you have to know that you must need some patience for it and that is really important otherwise you cant make profit.
But you have to know that that it always can chance and the value is now rising so that is quite nice.

Definitely. With holding there is literally no risk at all and you're pretty much guaranteed to profit in the long term, as long as you have the patience to wait and not sell or gamble your money away.

But yes, there will always be risks.
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: Trade house for 1 bitcoin on: June 13, 2016, 09:23:34 AM
Maybe 10years from now it would be possible to buy a house for 1 BITCOIN. Grin But for now it isn't possible.

Well, it's already possible to buy a house for 1 bitcoin, but you've gotta accept the quality of the house. It's probably all torn up and worn out, but you can still live in it. Or you can buy really cheap land.

But in 10 years it'll be possible to buy a legit house with only 1 BTC, I think.
2080  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: June 13, 2016, 09:22:45 AM
I think the best way for steady income is simply by holding bitcoins and cashing out portions of it when you feel like it, or when the price is on the rise. This has been pretty effective for me.

Don't hold your savings in fiat, in a bank. That's just dumb, because of the fractional reserve thing.
