2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [POLL] Using AI to predict outcomes on: May 02, 2023, 12:25:00 PM
~Expecting that with all available information provided AI will always be right in its predictions is not wise. We shouldn't rule out the possibility of a team winning against all the odds. The question is, will AI predictions be more cumulatively more accurate than those of the human experts? I think, we are less than a year from the time when AI will beat humans in this regard.

Relying only on AI predictions may not be a wise decision since there may be unforeseen circumstances that could affect the outcome of bets.
Though the advantage of AI is that it can always analyze a vast amount of data and provide recommendations based on statistics.

One day AI will be able take those unforeseen circumstances into account and adjust the probability. And how far are we from that day, it's hard to say. What usually takes 5 years for humans, can take 5 weeks for an AI. I think at this point we have to be ready for a quicker development than we might expect. Most people, as always, will miss the train. Some time later the odds will be adjusted accordingly, but before that happens AI can help some people increase their good fortune in sports betting. Those are my dreams, and they may have never come true, of course. Smiley
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do you lose on slots? on: May 02, 2023, 11:32:24 AM
I'm pretty sure that RTP of a slot is calculated as an accumulation result of all players playing this slot. And not only on the site you are playing, but on all sites altogether where this slot is presented. Often we here complaints about the announced RTP is bullshit because "I lost $200 playing this slot and nothing was returned to me, not 95%, nothing!". But these people don't understand that what they expect is wrong.
to be honest I didn't think much about the RTP in any of the Slot games I wanted to play. not that I doubt whether it's calculated individually or a total accumulation of all players, but I've had several experiences in fiat Slots where the 96% RTP I played brought no return and each reel never gave anything away until my budget was exhausted.
but when the RTP was only 90% I tried it again and got a pretty good return and gave a small win.

so I find it very difficult to think about or believe about this RTP.

You are right. Don't think of it at all. I mean, if the RTP was like 80% you would feel it right away, but to feel the difference between 95% and 97% you'd have to make millions of spins.

Just play the slots you like the most, the slots that make you feel better afterwards regardless of whether you won or lost. Of course, you will hardly feel better after losing a substantial amount, but it's all in your hands. Don't risk a substantial amount in the first place.

Exactly, and if we make misleading posts, that could lead to losing our reputation, which means we will no longer enjoy the privilege of staying in the forum and getting incentives for our valuable posts. That's why some of the legitimate gambling sites have an ANN thread here. They understand that they have a big market here, and as long as they are aggressive with their marketing and continue to take care of their reputation, there's a big chance they will achieve their business goals. This will help gamblers to easily find legitimate sites that are listed in the forum as well.

I'm wondering, why not all of them legit gambling sites have an ANN thread here? Don't they know that in the future they'll e be here anyway, why not start earlier and build up your reputation little by little? Just google "crypto gambling forum", FFS, and see what see what comes out first! They are missing out, that's what I'm sure of.
2067  Economy / Gambling / Re: Enough to consider a casino scam? on: May 02, 2023, 09:57:40 AM
Hi friends, I have some questions for you guys about online casinos

What will you do if you don't know that a online casino will ask you for KYC after winning over 8,000$ on the platform? And you now manage to process with the verification and they failed to pass you? Can you consider such a casino a scam?

Normally, the KYC process is done by third parties, so, don't think they intentionally make you fail.

Also, imagine you get attracted to an online casino because of the bonuses they offer and you open an account and make your first deposit then you didn't receive the promised bonus, is this an act of scam or not?

I would consider such casino a scam without a doubt. This kind of behaviour is unacceptable in the world of gambling. I think the money deposited on such site can be considered lost. I would withdraw my money right away from there, but the thing is that it's not allowed even on many honest sites, so, I wouldn't expect it would be allowed on such a site like this one. My suggesting is, wager the required amount and immediately withdraw after that.

I've thrown about 2000 balls none hit x130 and decided not to continue because the prize definitely wasn't worth what I had spent
I'll be waiting @Betwrong does he get it? I know he's one of the active users who hunt challenges while I will miss it.

I tried many times. Maybe not as much as 2,000 times, but a lot. This ruddy gnome of a ball, it just wouldn't land where I wanted!

26x was the best I got for this one.

In this one, on the other hand, Stake 3 Slots Challenge | Week 140, I have succeeded rather well:

I won more than the prize is going to be, but an extra $4 won't hurt, certainly. Smiley
2069  Economy / Gambling / Re: What else should an established crypto casino add? on: May 01, 2023, 10:28:04 AM
~The enthusiasm over AI, specifically ChatGPT, is going too far, without a doubt it is a useful tool and given enough time it will become more refined as years go by.

But this particular kind of AI will never be able to give specific predictions about games or predict the next number on the roulette, and even if it could I doubt the developers behind it would like for their software to be used in this way, as if someone were to lose a lot of money by following those predictions this could create a lot of bad publicity for them.

Predicting a game's outcome and  the next number on the roulette are two different things. The probability of a certain number to come up on the European roulette is 2.7%, and it is 2.6% on the American roulette. It is always like that, nothing can affect it, and you don't need AI to calculate it. Games, as we all know, may have different probabilities of their outcomes, and various factors can affect those probabilities. AI can take all those factors into account, analyze all of it, and come up with one of the best predictions possible. So, I'm not expecting from AI any help regarding roulette or slots, but in sports betting it can be very helpful.

Yeah eventually you'll going to play when you feel that you are good in predicting games, not recommendable to those who can't control their emotions and have a possibility of being addicted, at first they are just trying to win the pot money a free prediction challenge that will allow them to win decent amount.

The next thing you will realize is that you are already playing using your own money and trying to win from the house that the site is promoting.

Well, it's not hat fast, is it? You have to deposit your money on the site first. I know you know it, but my grandma thinks it works exactly you described it: you go to a site, click some buttons there and they start charging your credit card right away. Smiley I have no idea how many people in the world think that way, but I don't think it's only one person, my grandma. Smiley She read it in some tabloid like 10 years ago, and maybe other people did too.

2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: It's on! 2024 US Presidential Election Biden+Harris Vs Trump Bitcoin betting.... on: May 01, 2023, 09:00:48 AM
Absolutely. I bet on Kamala to be the nominee with pretty good outcome odds, 17.00

they will be lower int the future, I'm pretty sure of that, so, it's better to place your bet right now, if you believe she has a good chance. I placed a small bet on her just in case. Won't make a millionaire if I win my bet, but will be enough for a 4-pack of Guinness and a can of Pringles, I guess. Smiley

I don't know what to say about these odds. They seem so far away from reality. At this point, Kamala is the second most probable Democrat nominee for the POTUS 2024 elections. Given this, odds of 17.00 for her sounds outright crazy. In case Biden decided to run again in 2024 (which he has done), then I don't believe that anyone form his party would challenge him (obviously Kennedy is an exception). But there is a real possibility that Biden would not be able to run in 2024, either due to ailing health, or due to scandals (Hunter Biden story?).

Do you think Kennedy has a chance of being elected? He's got pretty good outcome odds, 23.00, on Stake:

I bet a small amount on him, just in case. Btw, is it only me, or you guys too sometimes can't find where to bet on the next President on Stake? I made the image clickable so that you could go to the place I'm talking about

because reading some posts in this thread I have a feeling that people don't know where to bet on the next President right now.
2072  Economy / Economics / Re: Without government job we can survive on: May 01, 2023, 08:07:04 AM
You make a valid point that waiting for the government to provide employment opportunities can be unrealistic at times. It's great to hear that you took the initiative to start your own business and create job opportunities for others. This not only benefits yourself but also contributes to the growth of the economy.

Yes, I too think that when people start new businesses apart from the existing ones, they contribute to the growth of the economy, and for that we should be thankful to them. Not everyone has the ability to open a business of their own. And many others, those who have the funds, don't want to do it because it's too risky. So, although I don't have a business of my own myself, I admire those people who do. Economic growth is a necessity, and people who contribute to it deserve respect.

You should be happy that this time you got the maximum win, but in the future you should bet more optimally.

Thanks for the explanation, @KTChampions!

From now on I'm betting with 2.00+ odds if I win a freebet again. Although I personally think that the "average" comes in play only when many thousands of bets are made, I don't see the reason for not betting in a more favourable way than I was doing it before. It simply cannot do any harm, right? Smiley
2074  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 30, 2023, 12:21:44 PM
For a student it’s hard to save money because of many expenses.Student need to pay their fees for their academic and need to spend for their daily expenses.Being a student, they need to support their family partial. All can do of saving minimum of 20 percentage of their income.Because the saving will you,not even your brothers help at the needed situation. So better to save atleast of 20 percentage from your income and earnings. You should keep your savings in the crypto currency to earn more from the savings. It’s essential one to save some money for your future as compared to empty pocket.

It depends on what cryto currency you are spending your money. There are many scammers in this field. I would advice to stay away from unknown projects because the risk of losing all invested money is high there. Also, 20% from your current income seems a bit too much to me. 10% is the maximum of what you can afford to lose, imo. And we all agree here, right, that you should invest only what you can afford to lose.

All works of art have their own characteristics, so in my opinion, all those who participate in art contests are great people because they dare to show their skills and talents in this contest. but indeed this contest is only for people who are talented in artistic talent and of course have high self-confidence to participate. whoever the winner is, of course he doesn't mean he's superior to the others because everything is judged by the jury.

I once asked who judged Roobet's artwork, whether he is a person who is also talented in art and understands art, so he knows which is the best work of art. It would be a shame if only ordinary people were the judges judging this work of art because art can only judged by people who understand art too.

I disagree. The artistic value of a work of art is subjective anyway, in my opinion. People "understand" art in different ways, and although art experts are right in their judgments more often than not, they are surely not always right. And it's not math. You can't know what is "right" with certainty. That's why I think it's fair that the sponsors are the judges. Since they are giving their money to the artists, they have all the right to give it to whoever they like. I myself wouldn't sponsor the art that I don't like, and, so, and I don't expect that from others.
2076  Economy / Economics / Re: Try to save money while you still can, will you ? on: April 30, 2023, 10:23:35 AM
Saving money isn't something anyone can afford to do, especially having family to support.
100% true and even they have a job/work still some of them will not be capable to save money since they have their daily expenses. We also tend to find more jobs just to save enough money for our future. Though It's hard for me to save money, Still, I'm gonna do my best to save enough since it will help if there's an unexpected thing that happens to me.

If our income or salary is big then for sure we would be able to save but the problem is not that is why others tend to have 2 jobs at a time so that their income is big and able to save for the future but still even others that has this is unable to save because they have self discipline. For sure all of us wants to save but there are circumstances that we cant

It's always the question of amount, actually. I think everyone in this thread can save $1 per month. But what would be the point of such saving? Setting a goal of accumulating $24 in 2 years can be depressing. And being depressed isn't helping anyone. I mean, you can lose much more than $24 during those 2 years because of your bad mood.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: who Want To Bet On 2024 USA elections? on: April 30, 2023, 09:57:47 AM
Does anyone mention here that American Credit Default Swaps are skyrocketing? In country without reserve currency thay would pretty much mean bankruptcy. But US Dollar is, luckily, reserve currency so USA can be indebted nearly limitless. But people should still put it into consideration. Republicans are already planning to increase debt ceiling. USA should start cuts in spending even though it's world leader economy. Or its status can be challenged. In current atmosphere I would say, democrats may not win.

Joe Biden is still the favourite candidate among gamblers

So, if you think Democrats have no chance, you probably should bet on Trump or Desantis, or both, right now. When many will start thinking like you do, the odds for Republican candidates will drop significantly. I personally think Joe Biden will be the next President, only to me it's not that attractive to bet with 2.35 odds.
2078  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: April 30, 2023, 09:33:18 AM
~
You are right. I always try not to exceed what I can afford because I don't have a lot of funds. And investing in FUN tokens has given me many benefits because I can get WoF, can stake FUN tokens to get more FUN tokens, and sometimes from those WoF rounds, I can get even more rewards. This is really an interesting prize to get.

I rarely win 5k sats but that's okay because I can still get other prizes. Now I'm trying to invest more money to get more WoF while the FUN token price is not too high.

I rarely win 5k sats too, but the chance, although a small one, to win something bigger, like $500 amazon gift card, or 50 Golden tickets, or iPhone, or Rolex, that's what excites me. I won 5k lottery tickets couple of times, and I remember that feeling. It was nice. Seeing that people win in the lottery with under 100 tickets quite often, you a still very small chance, but hope to win something. Smiley It's a good feeling.
2079  Economy / Economics / Re: What is your biggest obstacle to achieving financial freedom ? on: April 29, 2023, 06:02:38 PM
~ So, the biggest obstacle is not trying. The biggest obstacle is thinking that being financially dependent is your fate and you have to live with it. Today, when we have the internet around, this is never the case. Yes, it can take years of unsuccessful tires, but you will find what you are looking for eventually. If you don't have time, do it once in a week, but do it.
One step at the beginning is a difficult thing to do, but it's not as difficult to maintain what we have started. Try everything, even if we don't succeed after trying at least we will get a very valuable experience for the future. Don't be afraid to start and try, because if we can't do that we won't know what potential is within us, besides that keep learning and adding knowledge to ourselves, it will really help us. But now I see many people who are afraid to start, that's what makes it difficult to move from their comfort zone.

Also, it's important to note that if you are not picked up for a job, it doesn't mean you are under-qualified for the job. It can be just bad luck. Several people could be of the same level as you, but the employers just took someone else for some unknown reason, or even for no reason at all. Keep applying. Don't think, no one needs you. But keep learning too. Maybe, in a month or two, you'll apply for a better job and they'll pick you up!

I think Martin worked for a casino maybe Tongue, nobody is really benefitting from this but it would raise player participation numbers and make casinos happy that the idea gives people an easy to understand and implement strategy.  It wont especially help chances of winning or the balance of amount won vs amount lost, its too risky a strategy is the easiest observation and the gains dont scale with that risk so unwise to use imo.

Price end of month is Sunday and I think price is positive acting, maybe a run up to sub 35k area but mostly I would guess BTC price action hangs around 30k down to the wire probably.

Most bets went on the "$27,501 - $30,000" region

and I think these people are going to win this time. 2.19x of your bet plus the Time Weight Multiplier, it's not that bad of a win for predicting something that will most likely to happen.

But these guys

they are going to win 2 times more for their brave bets if they turn out to be right. And, of course, I wish them to be right. Smiley
