I am a newbie and I am looking forward to get to know more about  Bitcoin. Hope this would be fun, cant wait for the coming days exploring bitcoin.

Yeah, try gambling with bitcoins. It will be fun to see all your bitcoins gone you win some amazing amount! Good luck tho, you'll need it! Smiley

Don't suggest him things that can affect his life in a negative way with bitcoins, gambling is something that should just be used for having some fun, if it is used for getting big rewards or profits it would surely affect your life negatively.

I think he's being ironic, everyone know the risks of gambling and you also can gamble with any fiat currency, that's not a bitcoin thing, the most people that gamble with bitcoin already played with fiat. So that's not a bitcoin fame.

This guy gets me. I think if he is a professional gamble he should try it on bitcoins. But if not, he should avoid it and try something else like investing in bitcoin itself. Well good luck investing.
2062  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 04, 2016, 11:31:59 PM
I don't know why but I always get a feeling to gamble, after then losing my money, I quit for some time and then continue, but I know I will lose my btc Sad

Why is it so addictive?

Gambling is not addictive at all. Winning part of gambling is.  No one likes losing. Most actually hates it. So cant be really addictive with losing. But winning is addictive just simple because it is fun.
I agree. It defends on your self control. winning big is not addictive but its more being a wise and smart playing gambling. once you win control your feelings. be contented to what you win. and quit.

Correct. If you can't control yourself when gambling - whether you are winning or losing, I highly recommend that you don't gamble at once! Why? Because that is how exactly people lose in gambling when their emotion is on top on their gambling sessions. This is really bad because when you are too emotional, you tend to do decisions that are not reasonable like betting allin with all of your hard earned money.

I think it is just common for people to involve their emotion when they gambling I think even if a person can control it the inner emotion might reflect on them, and I think other people are using a method to see their opponent emotions in a bet on a poker match this is highly use in that kind of gambling, well I can not totally say that it is not OK show your emotions when having a bet on gambling but this can be certain use against you!

Well emotions are really part of the game of gambling. Usually, it gets people's minds clouded and they end up losing everything. The key is, I think, is to know when to leave the table. Know when you lost enough or earned.

Well decision making really is the key when betting and emotion really is part of the gambling and strategic purpose for some players and now I think that there are so many ways in dealing with gambling, and I think you can do it if you are really not addicted to it cause if you are, your mind would be clouded not by your emotions but the very urge your addiction pursue!

That's a good point. Addiction is also one of the factors that affect why alot of people lose money in gambling. The urge is indeed strong in some that they do not know right from wrong. Gambling should be played as a profession or only for fun. It's should not be to satisfy one's addiction.

At this point lots of peoples life are affected by bitcoin alot.  Those people who have bought when bitcoin is at sub 300 USD to 500 USD are very happy having booked a profit from 1% to 250%.  I'm sure bitcoin had produced another millionaire during this price increase.  And more and more people will experience the same thing as the world population adopt bitcoin.

Lol, I wish I was affected like that. I usually suck at buying coins, and don't buy it at the right time. Hope on the next time I buy some, I hit the jackpot! Good luck to all others buying to invest in bitcoins!
2066  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is gambling so addicting? on: November 03, 2016, 04:15:48 PM

Well anything that piques your interest may become addicting in the long run. Gambling for some people, brings excitement and a sense of uncertainty that they like especially when money is involved. Though this works both ways, some people don't mind
But we really need to care about our money, especially our family if your addiction will affect your family, think twice, because once your family will going to affect it will also be one of the reason that your family will also lose. Gambling is really exciting but always thinks of your family if that excitement will bring good to you in the future.

Yes, just treat gambling as a hobby. You don't spend all of your savings and sell your house to buy Pokemon cards (or whatever hobby you have). If you lose a small amount that fine, you enjoyed. If you win a huge amount, cash out and buy your wife and kids some hotdogs or something that'll make them happy!
2067  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 03, 2016, 04:13:27 PM
I prefer Bitcoin wallet by miles, because of the fast and low fees transactions.

Yeah, the fees are awesome in Bitcoin. Transaction fees are so low compared to bank transactions. You can send money to other countries for such a low amount it's a steal actually.
2068  Other / Off-topic / Re: Bank or Bitcoin Wallet? on: November 03, 2016, 03:37:04 AM
of course I will choose bitcoin wallet because i can keep all my funds and property on my personal computer without being controlled by government or bank. This means i am able to send and receive bitcoin anonymously and it will be safer

The anonymity is very good indeed but not sure if it is safer especially when we are talking of big amounts. Cryptocurrencies are prone to hackings. This would be the hardest thing in the crypto world. Whereas in banks your money is insured so even if your depository bank gets bankrupt you still take your money.

Yes, the money in the bank are insured and therefore the risk of losing them is very small. But when the money is in the bank, they depreciate. In this case, more profitable to keep savings in Bitcoins

If you have an enormous amount in a bank, they can only insure only part of it. In my country, banks ensure only $10,000. If you have $20,000 and the bank declares bankrupcy, you lose the $10,000. On the point of Bitcoins, there s also an excellent chance that the price Bitcoin goes down hence losing part of your money. So, I think placing your money in the bank vs. Bitcoin will depend on a person.

If you have $20,000 and banks can only insure half of it then I am pretty sure you can proceed to another banks to insure that another $10,000.

Money in the bank depreciates? Banks offers little interests so your money won't depreciate. But yeah it's more profitable with bitcoins at least right now where its value keeps appreciating.

I'm just pointing out that insurance over your funds in the bank doesn't cover much.

Money in the bank does not go down; it remains the same amount if you don't touch it. However, theoretically, it goes down due to inflation. What goes down is not the number of dollars or whatever currency you have in the bank, but its value. If your deposit remains in the bank and does not earn enough interest to combat inflation, your money's worth lessens every day. Hence, you actually lose money (it's value) retaining money in banks.

I understand now, to start with us as starters in this forum: we must be diligent to make posting to raise our level to join the signature campaign. from our signature campaign will be paid per week ie some bitcoin. Cheesy

Basically, that's how you will earn from signature campaigns. Though, your account will reach a high enough rank in around one year of posting one post a day so that you can make a decent amount in signature campaigns.

Everything is about balance.

You should go for whatever that makes you happy and satisfied. Life is too short. If you enjoy spending time in front of your PC and you should go for it and earn those Coins! But don't forget to make a balance between spending time on your PC as well as with your family.

As what am I doing right now, I'm doing my work every weekday and having some time for my family during weekends.

I don't see how you can live off bitcoin only.  For the time being having a bank account is necessary.

For example, where I work you have to have your paycheck deposited directly into a bank account.
Maybe in the future, employers will offer us to get paid in Bitcoin, whether it be the full amount or just a certain percentage, to our discretion.

Gamblers like the kick. A kick to win everything in 1 moment. They play for that moment. And keep playing with it, till it happens. Most of the time gamblers forget that all the time they are playing, they are losing loads of money, which makes the house euphoric.
2074  Other / Off-topic / Re: Basic IQ Test on: November 01, 2016, 07:10:14 AM

If you fail the basik test consider taking a break from Dog Training School and start learning.

I just hope you first learn how to spell before you call people dogs. It takes a second to check the red underlines on your sentences.

Also, your question for an IQ test is unclear and does not really determine the IQ of a person.

This is good advice.

So far, there are plenty of information here that would help you where to start and how to. Usually, there are veteran members wrting articles here how to earn some coins, teaching concepts, and informing the public. You just have to look for them. Sometimes they are stickied and most of the time they are just here on this subforum. You could also try to look for those directories, where vets compile a list of useful articles.

Hope this helps you!
2076  Other / Off-topic / Re: Earn 100BTC the easy way on: October 28, 2016, 12:10:20 PM
no one can earn anything the easy way rofl !!!, there is nothing as free lunch.

I even earn 1 Bitcoin with difficulty. No light in our lives. All investments require either labor or money, or time

Earning is easy if you have skills, money and time. So, earning 100BTC will really depend on those factors. Without anything to offer, you can't earn anything.
2077  Other / Off-topic / Re: bitcoin affects life a lot on: October 26, 2016, 02:28:36 PM
Bitcoin can change indeed your life and that is because you are now using some digital money and you can even earn some nice money with Bitcoin so that is really nice for the most people who are using Bitcoin a lot.
And the world is also getting more modern and you also can see now that Bitcoin is becoming more acceptable so that is perfect.
2078  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin better or paypal? on: October 26, 2016, 02:18:15 PM
I like them both but I must say that bitcoin is for me good, I'm also a seller of all kind of services(mostly freelance stuff) and if people want to pay with paypal they sometimes can do it to my account or I get limited because they do not trust it.
With the bitcoin I do not have this anymore so for my its much better.
2079  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Where can i buy bitcoins on: October 26, 2016, 02:12:36 PM
Localbitcoin is a good place to buy some. In my country we have Coin.ph. Where we can just transfer funds online to their bank account, and convert the case in their website to bitcoins. Check out google and see if there is a similar service.
2080  Other / Off-topic / Re: Why would customers use Bitcoins? on: October 26, 2016, 02:08:51 PM
I think this question is much related to an atm/credit card, people who uses them doesnt want to have paper money in their pocket or doesnt have any.
Much like bitcoin its convenient if you could have so much money in your hand without having your hands full.

Yes, convenience is probably one of the best offer bitcoin can offer to customers. Also fast transactions.
