The feeling of winning in a gamble is one of the best feelings you can experience, therefore, it's a feeling that can become addictive for those that are genetically proven to fall in the addiction trap. But if you know how to do it casually, you can enjoy it way more than those that do it all the time.

When you start enjoying gambling, that's when you'll get addicted to it. Sometimes things in your life becomes so enjoyable that you do it every single day. I remember one time when a friend and I were passing Vegas.  We stopped at the casino and tried the slot machine.  I simply had about $20 worth of chips and since it was my birthday... i tried it.  And yeah!  I won $15.. so basically lost $5.

I went back to the room to sleep since we were driving early the following morning.
I did not know that my friend went back to the casino and played the slot machine until 5am.
And I was wondering why he was so groggy that I had to drive even if it was his turn to drive from Vegas.
Later on he admitted to me that he was at the casino.
And he said for some reason.. he just got addicted to it.  He loved the thrill and the possibility of winning.  But I did too - but it did not appeal as much.  He wondered why he was suddenly hooked on it.

I guess the question would be  - why are there certain things that could be addictive for us and not for others?
My simple answer would be our psychological frame-up.
Others get addicted to porn, others do not.
Others to food, romance, thrill..etc while others dont.
But is there a possibility that we may be addicted to something if given a chance to be exposed to them?
My answer would be yes.

1.You may encoutered early Big win in your first bet or first day of gambling.

It's because gambling is like drugs, you always want more on gambling even you are win or lose. The feel when you have a bet and the sweat and your heartbeat makes gambling become fun.

Really? gambling is not like drugs but you are having fun playing gambling , gambling is hobby and like sports that your mind really think and then follow your instinct but im not sure that you are going to win straight evendo your going to hard playing. but gambling for me is really but and really addicted.

Yep you need to focus everything when you are playing gambling if you don't focus then you must get lose and all in all bet and bet and then lose and lose specially when you are playing with big amount  yes it is not funny when you are loosing them. There is some reasons which make gambling so much addictive things the more we get greedy than we lost the control and thinking that kind gambling is very easy way to make money for our needs, so this kind of behavior is really risky and that is why we get addicted to this.

wow you have made a excellent point, self assessment is the root of controlled gambling. If we are not able to understand that how we much we are earning, how much we can afford to loose and how much we are actually loosing then we are addicted. So always maintain a balance between earnings, expected spending and actual spending.

There is some reasons which make gambling so much addictive things the more we get greedy than we lost the control and thinking that kind gambling is very easy way to make money for our needs, so this kind of behavior is really risky and that is why we get addicted to this.

We think it's going to be easy to win every time. It's a false idea but we got it in our mind and cannot get rid of it very easy. It's very addictive too, of course.. But this false idea gets us greedy each time.
