2061  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Eastern Conference Finals (Heat vs Bucks/Celtics) on: May 16, 2022, 02:55:58 PM
@OP, you can now edit the thread.

It's official now, Heat vs Celtics will be playing in the Eastern Conference Finals.
This is a good match-up IMO, both teams have their own star players who are consistent in the playoffs so far.

By the way, in their head-to-head matchup, in their last 3 games, Celtics lead by winning 2 out of 3.
2062  Economy / Economics / Re: Share your Money management strategy on: May 16, 2022, 01:05:39 PM
A person's standard of living changes according to their income and occupation
the higher the income the higher the lifestyle, the bigger the job the bigger the capital needed this is a natural thing, we just need to manage everything so that it is simple and sufficient if our business work needs to borrow then we know our ability to repay

I agree with this, in my own experience my lifestyle change when I have the higher income now, which I regret so much in the previous year but then I am learning to manage my income now and I can tell that I  made some improvements, I have a weekly planner in which I am following for my expenses, I need to do this because I don't want the past to happen again in my recent time.
I came again and again to see some good strategies - and I have suffered so much because of not managing my finances properly.
During COVID I learnt that managing finances is very very important and so is side hustle. So I started working for myself and saving up. It is better than working for someone else.

Great mindset, working for yourself is like you are self-employed. Of course, working for yourself will make you enjoy the full benefits if you succeed, unlike when working for other people. Actually, we have a different status in life, some are employed, some are managing their business, but whichever side you are, it's very important that you learn how to live within your means and also learn how to invest so you will be able to grow your money.
2063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How was last crypto bear market on: May 16, 2022, 12:24:37 PM
The last bearish market for me was when BTC reached almost $2k, it was after the $20k ATH, which was expected to happen in December 2018, 2019 to finally reach a new ATH but it did not happen, in that period what happened in that market was a big buildup and we were all hoping that it would at least get back to $20k or a little more. However, at the moment I feel that there is still an uncertainty in the market, and with the fundamentals of Covid-19 and the war between Russia and Ukraine, since the movements of the markets usually stagnate and sometimes tend to fall due to panic .

I can never forget that time, everything was so bullish when bitcoin hit $20k but after that, the market is slowly going into a bearish mode. So now, I would not be surprised if bitcoin will continue to dump and maybe $10k will come again, I'll be glad to welcome it so I could accumulate.
2064  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 16, 2022, 10:06:02 AM
I like your pick @YuginKadoya on the first game, you are really confident that Bucks will win on the road here. GL to you.
Actually, it's no brainer here, Bucks maybe the underdog on the road in game 7 but they are not new to this, in fact they beat the Celtics on the same court, so they are like playing on their home court here, and nothing should be easy for the Celtics.

Well, unfortunately, sad to say the Bucks have lost in the Semi but they have fought a good fight today, and without Khris Middleton, it is hard for them to actually beat the Boston Celtics and another player that was lost to the Bucks that could be a great asset for the team is P. J. Tucker the best guard for the Bucks that they let go, but let's move on it is an undeniable lost for the Milwaukee Bucks,

Agree. Khris Middleton and P.J Tucker will give a good contribution to Bucks if they are on the current roster against Celtics. Giannis can't beat alone a strong specially if he is heavily guarded. P.J Tucker is now in better team with Miami Heat because he can work well with Adebayo in terms of defense. This only means how good PJ Tucker choose a team that will work well with his skills. His team change from Houston to Bucks result to Championship, Maybe he can do this on Heat because they are very strong on this season in both offense and defense.

Tucker is a lucky charm to get a ring. haha

And Tucker now has a chance to win another championship team because Miami Heat is already in the ECF, once they win the series, they'll be in the NBA Finals which I still believe they have a shot against either team that will win in the WCF. Tucker with this defense, he is a great addition to the Heat and I think although Heat is the underdog in the ECF, I believe they'll win.
2065  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 16, 2022, 09:42:17 AM
What a night! 2 teams from the 2021 finals got eliminated on the same night both in the 2nd round and game 7s.
It would be a surprise If Dallas will win the WCF. I'm kinda excited what would Luka Doncic do in the WCF or the Finals If they're good enough to beat the Warriors.
While at the same time, I am hoping for the Celtics to finally go to the Finals after LeBron deprived them from doing so before.
Yeah, that broke two of my predictions. I was hoping the Suns could go finish this one and see CP3 and Curry play against each other once again.
But Luka. Wow. It's difficult to put it in words. He is just too amazing.
The result was really unexpected, thought it's a close game even if the Dallas would beat the Suns on the road.
2 games resulted in a blowout win by the winner, that's very unexpected.

I guess they will say now that Middleton is a big loss for the Bucks. They don't have a shooter to rely on to space the floor and someone who can be a run stopper. Defense of the Bucks was not as high as they played in Game 3 where they shut down Tatum at 10 points and I don't like the idea of letting Grant Williams shoot outside while they block the paint, one of the reason why they loss badly. Adjustments is the big trick and then the bench points.

Yes, he was a big loss, but Celtics really are a strong team, they played very well in the last game and one guy from the Celtics roster showed up, it was Grant Williams, he had a big night offensively.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you regret when you miss selling at ATH followed by a correction on: May 15, 2022, 03:08:14 PM
If I sell last November, of course I see the market at this time I can use to buy again, unfortunately at that time I bought a lot so that the condition was to buy expensive and the price continued to decline until now, of course this is regret, but I will hold and sell only because Profit.
You never know what would happen in the future, at the time I'm sure you see that the price is cheap and you are expecting that it will rise over time. Now, we see a major collapse of the market again, however, you should not panic, see it as a normal thing, if you cannot buy again, just hold and trust the process, eventually, bitcoin will pump and the rest of the market will follow.

Luna is dead or soon will die, but Shiba Inu is still here with almost $7 billion of marketcap.
Although this coin is just a hype coin for me, I wouldn't compare it to Luna because Luna is like a scam coin, it will not recover anymore.

Shiba is one of the coins that benefited during the bull run hype, now it's correcting as the market is bearish in general, but it's still surviving.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: May 15, 2022, 01:38:37 PM
The logic here is, Suns is the best team in the regular season, so if Dallas would beat them in game 7, Dallas has a decent chance of winning the championship. So that odds is quite a gift for me considering the chances Dallas had in this playoffs.

I think I have managed to get around @100 odds now for the Dallas Mavericks to win the championship. That was way back before the playoffs and 0-1 against the Utah Jazz. Since I have a bet on them no choice but to support them. Who knows they can upset the Number 1 Phoenix Suns and that is possible. I hope so - cross-finger.

If I lose then just move forward. Simple as that. And prepare for another betting in the Conference Finals.

Yeah right, it's a support and we never know if that lucky guess will win or not. If you lose that bet, there are still many available options that you can pick till the last game of this season. Game 7 is coming and who knows maybe upset may happen and your pick will move forward for another series before the finals.

Luka needs more from his team, those supporting help will be very important. They need to work together and try all the best that
they can to move to the conference final.

No more big expectation with that kind of odds though, but of course, Dallas is not a bad team, if they will upset the Suns, they'll be heading in the WCF and they could possibly upset the Warriors as well. There journey could be the same when Dirk and his tema won a championship way back.

Look at this :

Dallas Mavericks Odds at NBA Championship in 2011: 18 to 1
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: May 14, 2022, 07:00:02 PM
Everyone can but there's only few gamblers that have actually did it because of mere luck, it's just they need to know and understand that it's not an easy path towards that way and there's a very high chance that you could lose a couple bucks first before you win big time as we always have experienced. But yes, I do a agree that we should have to know our line and when to stop even if it's too tempting already.
The stories of those successful bettors and high rollers, we'll never know how much they've lost along the way. It's great to see them win such amounts and rolls high.
True, they have to control themselves and decide how much they're willing to lose within a day. If it's small for them and big for us, that's not a matter and it's still their money to gamble.

For average gamblers like us, what OP posted will make us envious and wished that we also have those winnings, you only won that amount if you bet a huge amount of money it's rare to see where you start with 2 figures and end up 5 or 6 figures richer, you are on 2 figure you just multiply that figure to 10 and that's the best that you can reach anymore than that you're in extreme luck, they bet huge so they win huge, for all we know the guy just double his amount, and we never know what follows after those bets or figure that we've seen.
It is a wishful thinking and you don't really have to win with those amounts to experience happiness as an average gambler. Yes, that's what we're thinking to win but you know your capacity and you know what gambling is and how long it can extend your journey with the money that you'll allocate as your bankroll. Thus, the results vary and they're all unknown because you can't be sure with the outcome with any games that you play.
Of course most of us wish to have some 5-6 figures of winning in just a day/night doing some gambling activities but that result may vary or differ on people especially if luck is wether on our side or not but you truly have a point, we still need to manage it carefully because the results will likely not our side mostly as the roads we will take is still unknown, it is still a choice. A thrilling gambling experience will be enough for those who know how to manage well.
2070  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: May 14, 2022, 06:27:46 PM
^ For sure this will attract a lot of boxing fans around the world. Both coming from a great victory and display of their boxing skills. And we would say that this fight is on our "wish list" for sometime now. And this is going to be for the undisputed, and the winner becoming the true pound for pound champion as well (with Canelo's recent lost). So they really need to talk and sit down. As for the negotiations, Crawford has no promotional manager so he is free and no one is standing between him and PBC (Spence promotion). So if both is ready, maybe the end of the year is a good schedule.

Yes, somewhere in the end of this year or 1st quarter next year is indeed a good schedule to fight if they can agree on terms as soon as possible. Spence is not that heavily damaged in his last fight as well against Ugas and actually, I'm seeing it as a flawless victory on his side.

I believe that Crawford has no quarrel if he will just receive a 40% of the purse cut because he can still earn some good clean money on PPV's revenue as well as this fight will likely be with Spence's promotional camp, PBC.
2071  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 14, 2022, 06:01:23 PM
I agree that a win is a win, but he will have to come up with big wins against name fighters to be in the discussion as the best featherweight because this division is stack up.

I think that doesn't necessarily even that Magsayo will win the fight. As long as he continues winning, he will recognize more soon.

As you said, we are talking about BIG NAMES here. Therefore, even though Magsayo struggles to win against those BIG NAMES, it's still a win.

And Magsayo doesn't have any control over choosing his next opponents. If he likes then he will just pick a BIG name. It was his promoter or the body title that chooses his match.
My honest opinion though, Mark Magsayo is now 26 years old, I think he will move on the next division somewhere on his 30s because his body mass will be more fit and much capable on the next division. Just my opinion.

But now that he is still starting, he definitely need to make some name in Featherweight division even if it's quite stacked with good boxers in this division and actually that's an advantage because he and his promoter got some options in this division. But for Magsayo, I believe he is willing to get a fight with anyone in this division as long as his promoter agrees.
2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: May 14, 2022, 05:35:14 PM
I didn't managed to place bet on this match and just watched the highlights in YouTube I thought Emmanuel Tagoe could slows down Ryan Garcia on the first rounds but I think Ryan Garcia is much calmer and waiting for counters which is a good since he has advantage in terms of reach and height. As expected from Garcia his punches are not only fast but it was strong too but still much respect from Tagoe as he managed to finish a 12 round match which I think is the fist time for Ryan Garcia.
Winning is not about KO and Garcia prove it to us, his speed and heavy punches makes him ahead and that’s why the judges unanimously vote for him to win. Don’t worry if you miss this one, i heard that Garcia will have another fight for this year, not pretty sure about it but I know he has the chance to win again knowing the momentum on his side, and Garcia is still young and very talented. He will protect the title most probably, and the challenger should do more to level the strength of Garcia.
But he shouldnt really make out some conclusions or assurance specially into its fans because once you didnt or wasnt able to finish him off on the way that you are assuring then you would really normally get those

kind of criticisms because you havent able to justify out and that would really be showing instead some overconfidence which it isnt surprising for people to have that kind of sentiment.

This fight is already over and this thread should be locked and there's no need for further discussions.

Garcia won on this match, that's the final result and I don't know why many are still criticize him most probably they lose money because they bet on a KO which is not the result of this match. I see a big potential with Garcia, a clean record and a his speed, he can still go for good fights so better for us to move on already and look forward for more fights with Garcia, try to bet more on the good odds next time.

Because they were not satisfied with the performance of Garcia, he wasn't as sharp as before after that break, and the fact that he was fighting an unknown boxer, he could have easily KO it so people will take about his impressive win.

But anyway, let's just way for his next fight, hopefully we will see a big fight, someone that will challenge him.

Even Ryan Garcia himself is not that satisfied on how he fought on that fight because he knew that it wasn't his average performance. He didn't disclose what's the possible reason behind that rusty performance but the way I see it, it is because he lay low for quite some time with his injury that's why the result of that certain fight is not that impressive. I admit, even on my side, I wasn't impressed on that fight as I haven't saw the typical Ryan Garcia.
2073  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 14, 2022, 05:14:54 PM

Mavs and Suns are going to game 7, I am also expecting Bucks and Celtics will have a game 7, otherwise it'll end on game 6 If the Celtics repeats the same mistake. They could've the lead by now If they didn't become comfortable with their lead in game 5.
Girzz and GSW might have a game 7 as well since the Grizz has been performing their best even without Ja.
The 2nd round is really interesting for most of the series.

In my own opinion, the suns will lose game 7 to the Mavericks this Sunday  because there is no way a team can win a game in Dallas because its tough to play there and the mavericks are a good 3 point shooting team and the suns are really in trouble because if they lose game 7 Chris Paul will never hear the end of this. Suns had their chance last year and have had an air of entitlement, arrogance and overconfidence this year.

Dallas will be playing at the home court of the Suns, they have not won a single game in this series on the road as well, so the advantage is on the Suns. What I like about Dallas is they have the momentum in game 7, so expect a great game, for sure it's an intense game and a very physical game.
This will certainly be a big challenge for the Suns this coming Game 7 if they can really defend this series against the Mavericks, they surely have some shortcomings on the last game especially Chris Paul but the way I see it, this time it will be carried by Luka and the rest of the roster. CP3 and the whole Suns roster have their chance last season but they blew it, if they can literally finish the finish on their side, they probably done it last time when they had a 2-0 run on the series but Luka have adjusted well that's why I can say that they will win this series.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: May 13, 2022, 07:19:52 PM
We cannot really blame them because a lose is a lose no matter how much is that amount and they knew for sure that regrets is always on the last part, it is their choice. But gamblers will forget those losses as eventually those regrets will cease because there will be some time that they can will earn more than they lost that previous days but it's undeniable that there's more losses than winnings as it's a part of the gamble.
But in terms of acceptable loss of money on funds that are ready to lose, so gamblers don't think too much about past losses but they will allocate other funds that are not too high to return to betting on casinos, but most gamblers do not understand financial management and they too greedy to raise the bet because greed for high profits.
It is not only greed but also carelessness of playing with ambition to win which makes the consciousness lose with ambition and end up losing the most.
Currently gambling activities are increasing and most of them bet without self-control and without skill and only think about winning without caring about losing again, gambling is luck and luck will favor those who play calmly, can control themselves and are also based on skill.
I think that's the weakness for most people who gamble often, they quite know that they are already losing but still continue without realizing that they have gone to deep. The lack of self control is what the gamblers need and I'm also guilty about that for quite sometime as I also tend to forget things like that, lucky for me, I got some realization about that.

But for others, that's a real hard situation to conquer.
2075  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: May 13, 2022, 06:48:05 PM
Well well well ....seems that Booker can't handle the heat and tried to knockout Luka out of the comfort zone but little he know that a Slovenian will respond back and double it ...and so he did. Now , imagine if Luka had at least a decent team that could fight for play-offs ...we wouldn't talk about who is going to reach the finals and we would talk about who is gonna face Mavs in the finals as this team with 3 more great players will be unbeatable.
The problem with the Suns is that CP3 is not playing well in the last few games already. His playmaking was there, but his offense and defense is his weakness. Luka as PG of the team can attack CP3 if he would guard Luka, if Mavericks will have a good shooting in game 7, they'll probably win the series.

It will be an interesting game 7 between these two west finalists, Luka answer back and able to push the series to a final do-or-die game.

The adjustments they've made are very effective. Luka just plays the way he loves, and he keeps making baskets and assists by rotating the ball,

not alone but the team effort to fight back and protect the home court win. this last game will determine who's more hunger to be in the

finals..
Yup, the way they handle some adjustment always makes me admire the way they play more. I really thought that the Dallas Mavericks will be the first team to be eliminated in the 2nd round because we really saw how exhausted was Luka on the first two games of this round while the Suns are dominating them easily on that said 2 games.

The good thing is they survived that run and adjusted well, now the tables are flipped and pressure is on the Phoenix Suns now with a threat that they are the ones who will be eliminated despite having a good run in the series.
2076  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: May 13, 2022, 06:26:24 PM
He did get an attention based on this two last fights, a come from behind win against Ceja by KO and then he beat one of the longest reigning champion in this division, Russell Jr. But still he doesn't have that recognition that he deserves. Maybe if he can win via knock out here or maybe this fight turns out to be a brawl and Magsayo winning in the scorecard, maybe he will get the respect of the US audience just like what Pacman did years ago.

Slowly but surely Magsayo will get there.

What he just needs to do is to continue winning like what Pacquiao did.

He also needs to be humble like Manny, unlike another Filipino boxer who is so arrogant that it causes his downtrend.

And if I'm not mistaken, he is under Freddie Roach, the same guy that guide Manny to stardom. So he is in good hands and hopefully he will become one of the best Filipino boxers post Manny Pacquiao.

That's also exactly the reason why Manny Pacquaio have more fans than haters, actually I cannot even say that he have some haters because the man is so humble and doesn't underestimate his opponents nor trash-talk them, that's the good thing about him that's why many loved him.

As for Magsayo's case, he needs to learn more about what to do and what no to do in this industry as he is just starting to build his career. Also, yes, I believe coach Freddie Roach will indeed guide him through that phase.
2077  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [BOXING]: RYAN GARCIA vs EMMANUEL TAGOE - April 9 on: May 12, 2022, 07:45:06 PM

There's no hype on this fight because we all know in the first place that it's a big mismatch.

Ryan Garcia has been out for a year, he came back with an easy fight to probably prepare for a big fight.
I believe that Garcia will win, but with the odds that he is a heavy favorite, I just passed on betting, instead just watch the fight and get bored.
Indeed, it was quite clear that Ryan Garcia will be the hailed winner because this match is dedicate for Garcia's return after his lay-off after his match against Campbell. So I didn't really bet on this one but I did watch on how would Ryan Garcia handle the more experienced boxer, sadly it turns out boring while Ryan Garcia is still trying to catch up on his rhythm.

Garcia's camp has been chasing heavy names for years now, first it was Gervonta Davis and now it's Kambosos Jr., I doubt he can defeat those two mentioned after seeing that said fight. Now, they are in the talks with Pitbull's team, well hopefully they won't turn it down.
2078  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: High Rollers on: May 12, 2022, 07:19:36 PM
Yes, for small gamblers, we don't intend to gamble for fun at most times. We aim to win and take the profit with us whenever we're winning with those bets.
Sometimes, we do it for fun but you know that you're going to do it with a very little amount that you're not going to mind whether you win with it or lose it.
Depends on someones aims or motives because there are small amount gamblers who do really wishes to make their capital becomes big or even to hit up jackpots or big multipliers or something which do really falls out

into the category on aiming for profits and not really for the fun that they do really seek off.It all matters on someones perception or treatment towards gambling whether they do play for fun or simple for making money.HIgh rollers are normal because it would really exist on every casino which there are players who do really spend up money likes there's no tomorrow behind.
I think small gamblers can also win huge sums of money because as we know luck can come to every gambler, no matter if he is a big or small gambler. But if the gambler's goal is to hit the jackpot or a big multiplier or more, then he needs to rethink that it won't be easy.

Actually, we don't need to chase profit because what we want in playing gambling is the pleasure of playing the many games available on gambling sites. If we have got the pleasure, we should immediately leave or quit the game.
But it is still wise enough to know not to rely on luck alone because there's really no telling on when and where this factor could hit you big time. It is still wise to control your emotions that chasing unknown roads.

There are also other people who is really determined to play and gamble most of the time until their day comes but yes, you're right, only few have only managed to hit the jackpot and we couldn't really tell if we can hit a big time money even once in our whole lifetime.
When you are having that lots of funds then i would say that probably you would really seeking off things for your entertainment and not to make more money but pretty sure  that there are people
who do really aim for more despite on having lots of funds that they could really make use of.Its true that emotions would be the determining factor when making out decisions.
Whether you are already enjoying on losing lots of funds or wont bother yourself since you do know that you do still have lots.

Even for the ones who are only seeking more of entertainment despite of their losses cannot hide away the fact that they are also interested and looking forward to win big time even once on their whole lifetime but the chances of winning huge sums doesn't vary to those who only have few funds and for those who have a lot because these chances are still unknown when it would it you.
2079  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: May 12, 2022, 06:20:29 PM
That was just a heartbreaking loss for the Boston Celtics since they were up to 10+ points in the 4th quarter but they can't stop the 100% threes of the Milwaukee Bucks in the 4th quarter which dramatically cut the lead and in the last minutes, it was really a playoff game that we were excited about, the pressure, the excitement and the intelligent play in gathered there. Giannis is bloody but still managed to score big time and finally, it was Jrue Holiday again who play well both offense and defense were impressive and he just shut down the entire Celtics in their homecourt.

How the hell did Celtics lost that game? I mean with 4 minutes left they are still in front like 6 points and lost by 3?

I went out thinking that the Celtics has this one in the bag, homecourt advantage, plus a good lead and it seems that the Bucks are crumbling under pressure. But when I come back to see the score, was surprised of the turn of event. So yeah this is a heartbreaking lost and I don't know if they can recover from it.
The Bucks are really struggling with the Celtics tight defense that's why they can't really get a good lead and have a successful rally as Horford and Tatum was always around every corner where the most shooters will go, while Brown is the one who attacks. But when it comes to last few minutes, it is really undeniable that the Bucks are the one who can handle the pressures more instead of the Celtics despite of their homecourt advantage and defense strategies. I expect that the Celtics will still win but the Bucks bounced again.

Going against the Celtics too, Bucks +4.5. Good luck everyone.
Both teams can be said to be great, today I hit the Bucks bet button, the score was narrow win against Boston, which will take place in a moment.

Although the bet button can't be cancelled anymore, I hope luck is on my side today, however, I tried to check some sites for NBA betting, all sites suggest winning odds for Celtics are more than Bucks vs 70% & 30%, I hope not shaking today for Bucks team.

I have strong faith for the Bucks today, however the game will define this journey.
This will be a tight game as the Milwaukee Bucks will play on Celtics homecourt, so the Bucks here have a huge disadvantage including from the fact they they lack Middleton that could really help the team in this kind of situations. But yes, I have put my faith in Bucks today to win with a +5.5 spread on the time of my bet. GL! Smiley

That spread is very attractive indeed. And even if it on the homecourt of the Celtics, they Bucks will have to fight it out and make it close.

Remember that they are still the defending champion, so they know how to win no matter what. So it will be a big test for Giannis. And who knows, he may produce another monster game to keep their hopes alive in this series. So +5.5 at 1.92 for me as well.
Just like what we thought, Bucks made it! It was a really tight game especially on the last 3 minutes on the court, Celtics was playing great but they really lack something that the Bucks have and I think their experience in the playoffs and being a defending champion.

Giannis contributed 40 points and 11 rebounds and also Jrue Holiday with 24 points.
