2061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are Altcoins getting Boycotted? on: December 29, 2019, 08:18:23 AM
I think it’s just the free market that is making some coins succeed and others fail. You can call that boycotting or any other term, but it’s a fair way to shake out the bad projects or the redundancy.

It's a battle of the fittest and this is good for investors, we'll see who among these coins are real and who are fakes, these healthy and good for investors, if the developers cannot keep up with the project, then he is gone for good and will be replace a better and dedicated developers and new projects will replace old non performing one.
2062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra coin alive or dead? on: December 29, 2019, 01:00:05 AM
There was a rapid growth in bitcoin price in last 2-3 months when it was announced Facebook is going to launch its own coin, called libra coin,
Now its already in cold store, due to US and EU agencies interference.

I saw in coin market cap, its only general information about libra coin, but no technical data is available yet.

Still hanging but many are still hoping, Libra coin will have a huge impact and regulators don't want to see disruptions in the presence system, so they are still reviewing it and looking at every situation as it comes, they want it regulated and makes it looks good in their eyes, we can only speculate now.
2063  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you feel more lucky than usual when it's New Year's. on: December 28, 2019, 11:15:35 PM
I lived in this misconception, once before the New Year I had a good profit, and it happened again 2 years in a row.
I thought I was more lucky when the New Year.
Of course this is not true, the casino never changes under the influence of the social factor.
The casino is the same as always no change.
Or maybe there is?

Two in a row is good you can do it every year, if new year is indeed your lucky day to gambling, just don't bet everything just you have success in the past, it's gambling you know, everything relies on luck and we never know when our luck will run out, so be careful on your new found luck
2064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is libra coin going to dominate the Bitcoin market? on: December 28, 2019, 04:17:46 PM
In case libra coin will get approval from US Securities,
Will it dominate the cryptocurrency market?
Currently Bitcoin has dominance of 68% in the market.
Will Libra coin reduce the dominance of Bitcoin market?

We cannot speculate on something that is not there, there is no final on the platform that Libra is going to create, once it launch and we have seen some of it's features and how it works, we will then see if this is going to dominate the market, but I doubt the regulator will not let this things happen.
2065  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there formula for bitcoin price ? on: December 28, 2019, 03:24:14 PM
I am wondering analysis of bitcoin price/value.
I see some simplified econmics model in Princeton course about bitcoin.
That is Supply = T/P
           Demand = S/D
For price P = TD/S.

Although it is simplied model, while it provides basic thinking about it.

My question is is there other popular model/formula about it ?

I'm not good on formula, but so far after ten years there is no relevant formula we can use, all I know is the price still depends so much on the hype and FUDS around us, if there are exact formula about the price of Bitcoin, then there is no more speculation, I guess another factor is the limitness of supply and all of it's features.
2066  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your Recap for the year 2019 on: December 28, 2019, 11:01:58 AM
I'm not asking recap on what's happens in the Cryptocurrency industry, but on how 2019 made an impact in your lifestyle, motivation and financial status, is it positive or negative, are you full of hope or losing it, what is your assessment this coming 2020.

There are good and bad ones, the good ones are getting to some campaigns that will let me earn Bitcoin in preparation for next year, the bad ones are the so many bounty campaign that I participated that did not live up to my expectation, overall 2019 is a bad one and I'm hoping 2020 will be a big success after the so many heartaches and headaches of 2019.
2067  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is It true youTube has started restoring of crypto related videos? on: December 28, 2019, 10:12:35 AM
We call this hype, we are united to hype this Youtube action, because it harms the community, let's admit it majority of us here are followers of influencers, especially Youtube influencers and it will hurt us if we see videos that we used to watched and recommended are deleted without notification why it was deleted, they are now restoring it and hopefully those who follows guidelines will get their videos restored.
2068  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Gervonta Davis vs Yuriorkis Gamboa on: December 28, 2019, 09:10:07 AM
Yuriorkis Gamboa is not the dangerous fighter anymore. Just like the rest of the stronger fighters who have made a name in the past, Yurioskis Gamboa is now becoming a stepping stone for younger fighters with great potentials. This is not an interesting battle.

I agree. Maybe we can see some glimpse of his past self here, but I'm sure that it won't be sustainable against a very good and talented fighter.

Tank Davis made it to the limit in his second try so that fight will continue tomorrow. But I'm sure in their stipulation that he need to pay to Gamboa and perhaps that is the reason why he pushed him as he lost in the scale already.

If Gamboa, wants to get into the contention this is the one fight that he needs, I have seen him in his best fights the guy has skill and power, but he slide down since he lost to Crawford if he lose this fight I don't know what will happen to Gamboa, he will have the same fate like Chavez Junior, they lose their big opportunity to get back.
2069  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: AJ's next fight on: December 27, 2019, 12:29:15 PM
Deontay rejected to fight Joshua, when he finds out that Joshua is going to get double of what he is getting check all the information here
https://www.express.co.uk/sport/boxing/1109894/Anthony-Joshua-Deontay-Wilder-Fight-Offer-Rejection-Reason-Boxing-News

I believe it should not be half the gap, the gap is very huge, they are both champion and Wilder is also undefeated.
It's sad we are not going to see this fight very soon because of the money, Deontay Wilder wants more of what he is going to get on initial offer even they are talking about millions still Deontay rejected this why? I only sees it as selling his undefeated record on a high bout. OR he doesn't want his record to get a stain so he's making an alibi and more of excuse? what you think about this guys?

IMO, wilder should even be getting bigger as he is a more exciting fighter than AJ, and he is also undefeated that most of his wins are knockout.

I don't know why AJ would demand that high when I think he will even be the dog if he fight Wilder.

With Joshua with one lost and that was coming from stoppage and Wilder still undefeated, if he beats Fury, and they decide to sit down to negotiate, then it should be in Wilder's favor being an undefeated champion, in my opinion it should be 50- 50, they should do it for the fans and for their career's reputation.

2072  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will You Bet Or Gamble Before New Year, Or On The New Year on: December 27, 2019, 04:19:12 AM
I made my promise last year that holiday season is time for family and friends, so I don't think I will be playing before or after new year I intend to fulfill that promise, so I will be betting two days after the new year, and nothing will change I will just have fun while betting, I'm good at this year and I will be this year.
2073  Economy / Economics / Re: What if crypto vanishes? on: December 27, 2019, 02:08:13 AM
What will happen if crypto vanishes overnight or due to some or the other reason if crypto becomes inaccessible to public? I know this does not make sense as crypto will not vanish but still what if it happens? What about those huge chunk of investments made by whales and other investors?

Honestly, the only answer I can give is the internet should vanish first before Cryptocurrency vanishes, it should be the internet first before Cryptocurrency, and if there is still an internet, we can always recreate those cryptocurrencies because the majority of this Cryptocurrency is open source, can be clone can be imitated.
2074  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale revisited on: December 26, 2019, 02:46:26 PM
I have a key stat which is the rate of earning per total wagered amount (currently at 8%+), as long as i keep it higher than the house edge, the final result should come out possitive since a common house edge is 1% the casino is expected to earn from me 1% of wagered amount, however since my rate is 8%, there is still a big gap of 7% so that the house edge can't eat my capital+ earning (unless the casino decided to raise it house edge to above 8% which is likely a NEVER happening thing)

All good but be aware that you are supposed to lose

I mean the casino expects you to lose eventually. If, on the other hand, you are not losing and going on, actually sucking in money from the casino instead, they may not quite like it. As long as the amount thus lost by the casino is not great, they may turn a blind eye to your actions as other people trying to follow the approaches described in this thread could compensate for the casino loss through their own loses. However, if you are winning big, don't be surprised to get kicked out at the end of the day, and probably not in the way you may like it or at least find acceptable and appropriate (read, prepare yourself for really ugly and nasty things)

Yeah that's true that always be the case  Cheesy as long as the house is not losing a lot, they will let you win and make you feel you are having your lucky day, but expect them to get back at you at any point of time, maybe tomorrow maybe the next day, they are not in a hurry to make profit out of you, but they always will.
2075  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How can I start earning BTC? on: December 26, 2019, 01:57:31 PM
Dear all, I haven't started earning with BTC or any other cryptocurrency yet but looking forward to do so. I don't have much to invest. All you who are already earning with BTC plz share how to start with it. Your help would be highly appreciated. Plz tell me what E-wallets to have, if i need to invest what are the safe platforms to do so and any other details I ought to know. Thank you in advance!!!

Since you mention invest, invest in Bitcoin right away, don't fall into Bitcoin doubler or site that promises you that you are going to earn 10% there is no such things like that here, even a bank can't give you 10% daily, you can also participate in bounty campaign, but your only choice is social media campaign because of your rank, or you can try Cryptotalk a forum that will give 1000 sats per post up to 30 posts, that's 30000 satoshis daily.
2076  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Most people Enjoy Spamming on BitcoinTalk on: December 26, 2019, 12:37:16 PM
The statement coming from someone who was on a topic creating spree yesterday... Ironical, isn't it?
First check on your posting habits before you start moaning about "Signature spammers'. Imagine if each one of us had to open a topic every 8 minutes Huh
A spam free forum starts with you.

Secondly if you feel someone is spamming there is a report to moderator button.

He is very much aware of spamming but do not know that there is a report button for this, and he puts the pressure on the moderators, I guess OP should go back to beta and stay more time to read all the rules here in this section, he is not aware that post bursting do not contribute positively on poster's behavior, OP needs a mirror to take a good look on himself.
2077  Economy / Economics / Re: Hong Kong protestors call for sanctions against HSBC bank on: December 26, 2019, 09:17:43 AM
I believe the protesters are fighting for their right by all means but i don't see any reason why they have to blame HSBC for closing the Spark Alliance’s bank account because they have to abide with the rules and regulations of the countries they operate in but The police accusing the group of money laundering and frozen of account was arbitrary action and i believed they were indeed trying  to cut off support for the protesters as said by the lady Catherine.

HSBC is not in control of such, articles also states that the account closing was conducted by the police, and not voluntarily conducted by HSBC themselves.
I don't know why some people think HSBC are to be blame when we both know the Chinese is run through centralized system which is also one of the main reason of the protest in the first place.

The Hong kong government will do everything to prosecute even using their control of the bank, I agree with all the posters here that HSBC is not to blame because they are under the Central Bank of Hongkong and they cannot disobey if there are direct orders, I don't know there structure if they need a court order to open the book of transaction, but here in our country you need one.
2078  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I enjoy posting on bitcointalk on: December 25, 2019, 03:21:17 PM
In my case, I like reading threads and comments that are posted here, I do comment and share my opinion because of I active in bounty hunting, I'm the kind of poster that like to post that I am familiar with and avoid asking questions that are already in the discussions because readers like me don't want redundant posts.
2079  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: myetherwallet.com problem on: December 25, 2019, 01:46:23 PM

This is the problem with OP he did not give us a piece of complete information about the issue on what he is trying to do, I have just accessMyetherwallet through my private key, and there seems no problem at all, I recommend that people should just use a desktop version wallet like MyCrypto, I feel safer using this version of wallet than an online one.
2080  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Purposes to play gambling, except being rich on: December 25, 2019, 11:55:03 AM
I'm just curious about what people think about their main purposes to play gambling. Usually, we only know that people play gambling because they expect to be rich (earn money). Are there any other common purposes of a gambler why he/she plays gambling daily? Let me know what your purposes are, mate. Thanks

Majority of the people voted that they are doing this for fun, and that reflects how educated some of us here, but it does not reflect the whole picture of gamblers that play for fun, there are still a huge percentage of gamblers that wants to beat the house or finding ways to beat the house, I voted for fun but in the back of my mind I also want to make money.
