bminer: local 1960hs  flypool average: 1790
dstm:  local 1900hs  flypool average: 1860

bminer not honest

please show your screenshots otherwise I don't believe any words from you whose account is totally new.

i find your short post history to be pro bminer biased. you did a test of 6 hours each (not running at the same time so different difficulty) and you have been cheerleading since. sorry but i prefer to see large enough hashrate rigs side by side mining with both miners to see a real comparision. i've ran my 1070ti rigs with both dstm and bminer and have seen a much higher reported hashrate in console yet the same average hashrate pool side as dstm. dstm hashrate seems more stable where bminer's hashrate is all over the place on flypool.

i'm no fan of either dstm or bminer, but with bminers history of using sock puppet accounts on other forums to promote his miner...and seeing your post history, you look more suspicious than someone that posts the obvious that bminer reports a higher hashrate at the console than whats reported at the pool. theres no denying that.

dude  I certainly am not a sock puppet and my tests clearly show bminer  is doing better then dstm on identical machines pointed to the same pool.

If you don't mind me asking, what miners do you think are worth buying right now? I have a few 200s, it is just hard to spend btc when it is at this level.

Well I have "free" power  I am in a deal with a solar array  and I get up to 20kwatts of power.

This allows for the s-9 the t-9 or the L3+  to turn profit.

I would buy  T-9  or L3+  if I got some 450 coupons.

I purchased 3 L3+  with 220 and 200 coupons

so they cost me about 1300 not 1400 each

If I were to get a 450 coupon for 100 or so  an L3+ would cost

1396
  100 shipping
  100 pay 100 for coupon
1596 total pre coupon
  450 coupon
1146 net

at 1146 net  an L3+ will turn a profit for me in about 180 days

If the coin takes off all that would happen is  hdd waste and your green idea is lost.

or the coin does not take off and it save no resources

but I hope you succeed as hdds are commonplace so it would be decentralized
20706  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and ASIC Hosting (Mining4less.com) on: March 20, 2018, 04:17:21 AM
For Non Bitmain units.   Minimum unit needs to be 10 or more.  Send them an email for quotes but the pricing should be relatively close or the same as equal wattage Bitmain Equivalents.

I have a few L3's on order

I may host with you.

Tired it is late and I just found this thread.  Searched for it took some time.

I think I will want some more maybe 5 L3's
20707  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Do you think GPU price is bubble? on: March 20, 2018, 12:11:10 AM

I was planing to mine coins like ETH months ago but after seeing the prices I was like stun by how much it were. I did have high end desktop for gaming but it didn't cost much up to $2K but this time I can see some GPUs worth more than $1K already. Its not that big if it can mine like 1ETH a day then I won't mind but it it can't then this sure isn't worth.

oh buy 6k worth of rx 580's and earn  a 550 coin each day  makes it worth it to you .

Mining was not that good.  on its best days the rx580 was 300 bucks so 300 for 6k and 8 bucks a day for each card so maybe 160-200 a day for a month or 2 was the best it was.
20708  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wtb Bitmain $450 coupons on: March 19, 2018, 11:56:52 PM
I might start selling mine or give them away.

I got
55x 100
2x 220
13x 200
11x 125

well you may as well give away the 100's

I gave 6 of mine away so far.

I used my 1 220 and 2 of my 3 200's

I purchased 3 units.

So I will give away a 100 if you pm or anyone pm's and asks for it.

I was hoping to get one better coupon but I certainly understand people holding them.

I was tempted to get a d3 just as a joke  as 550 + 85 = 635 - 200 = 435  but I am not sure that is cheap enough Grin

20709  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin mining ever been so unprofitable? on: March 19, 2018, 11:49:50 PM
Math seems to check out, except ROI on a new miner is impossible now. New people don't realize this.

Yeah  I would think buying a s-9 right now with 10 power is not a good move.

but a s-9 for 1915 + 100 = 2015 - 200 coupon = 1815

that could make out if you have 4-6 cent power and the gear does not break.

Most buyers do not have 4-6 cent power  and s-9's break
20710  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: DragonMint 16TH/S halongmining.com on: March 19, 2018, 08:57:27 PM

20711  Bitcoin / Mining speculation / Re: Has Bitcoin mining ever been so unprofitable? on: March 19, 2018, 08:37:59 PM
@ Sandal_Hat  you are pushing bear and we are not really there yet.

IF IT IS MAY 1 WITH A DIFF OF 4,000,000,000,000
AND COINS ARE AT  ----------- 6,000 USD WE WOULD BE THERE

Now the guess for players is  do we go to those numbers and btw those numbers still make the s-9 a money maker.

if you have 10 cent power coins at 6000 diff at 4,000,000,000,000

you make 44.82 per month

So till we get there I have zero worries
Once we get there if we do it will interesting to see what happens.

And even at that point The op's answer would be no it has been worse.

so we are here

coins 8300
diff    3,400,000,000,000

which is not close to

coins 6,000
diff   4,000,000,000,000

Now be negative and say it will get worse then that , it could I don't know what moves a coin or a market.
I make moves to survive that.

My moves could be terrible.
20712  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wtb Bitmain $450 coupons on: March 19, 2018, 08:30:08 PM
Just replied to you, I don't have any 250 USD, this was a typo! How embarassing  Embarrassed My apologies.
I do have 220, 200, 100 coupons though!

no worries

So at the moment I

have
1 x 220
1 x 200

13 x 100

20713  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Wtb Bitmain $450 coupons on: March 19, 2018, 08:01:09 PM

crypto_curious

Well a 250 is better then a 220  if you want to send one  I would take it.

my donation  id for it would be philipma1957

I was just about to order with the 220 I have  so If I use a 250 I save 30 bucks.

I am giving away my 100 dollar ones  I have 13 left

I used a 200 this morning.

I have 2 units on order.
20714  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: GPU 0 hangs, Open CL Error on: March 19, 2018, 04:16:57 PM
Lower clocks should help you.
20715  Economy / Digital goods / Wtb Bitmain $450 coupons on: March 19, 2018, 12:12:35 PM
Okay   I have

  bitmain $220 coupons
  bitmain $200 coupons

So  a 450 coupon to me is worth

 450-220 = 230
 450-200 = 250

based on that   if you have a 450 coupon and sell it to me for 100 it is worth it to me.

So I will offer 100 usd for a 450 coupon

If you have some send me a pm.

I will self escrow  since I am a leading escrow.

translation:

I send you a pm  I tell you where to  send the 450 coupon.
It shows in my bitmain account.

I pay you 100 in

btc
ltc

or some other coin. Or even paypal if you want paypal

If the deal works  we can repeat it a few times.
If you want more then 100  ask me how much you want as I would have a little flex not much though.

I self modded as I want a clean thread.

PS I will be offline for 3 hours. From 830 am to 1130 am EST

I am back online

I like this thread. Seems to be the only mature thread out of the Mining section.

Reminds me of the Wall Observer in the Bitcoin Speculation section.

Anyways.

For all you guys running the old and trusty R9 290. What is the best undervolt you can get.

I am running some at 0.96Volts at 947/1250 and GPUz says 85 Watts ( from wall most likely double this value)

Anyone manage to get it stable at lower voltages?

Wall Observer mature?  You have an interesting definition of mature.

What or whom is wall observer ?
20717  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: New 16 gpu industrial style miner review. Will post details soon__updated on: March 19, 2018, 01:44:40 AM
Im just wondering what is the price of P102-100

I have seen the p102-100  available in bulk buys for 700 a card.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2674194.msg32071657#msg32071657

So this model  would have 16 x 700 = 11,200 for the cards alone.
add in 4 psu's
a frame/case
a stick of ram
the mobo with built in cpu
the bridge to the 16 slot pcie board
the 16 slot pcie board
the ethos os
the usb stick
many fans
labor
profit for the seller

and we are talking $$$

but  if I use  the evga hybrids  they are more then 900 a card actually more then 1000
and the corsair are 999 plus shipping

so that is 14 x 1000 = 14000   14 hybrids or corsair
and 2 x 850             =   1700   2 zotac 1080ti minis

2 mobos    =     350 if I use  onda b250
2 psus       =     900 if I use corsair ax1500i
2 frames    =     230 if I use spotswood
2x the ram =     160 if I use 8gb crucial
2x cpus      =     400 if I use i5 7400
2x usb sticks =     20 if i use samsung 32gb

cost is 17760  for 2 x 8 card rigs  that I can not max  since the corsair psu is a bit too weak  so I do 10000 sols at 2600-2800 watts

pros quiet setup
cons I push the corsair ax1500i very hard
cons I can't get those waterblock cards

or I get the p102-100 16 card rig

it does  11,200 sols
it is loud
it uses  3500 watts
I think  the build  costs less then  17,760 (I guess this I don't know)

About right, we will be offering the entire system for 16k USD.

We are going to run a batch sale for 120 units in the next few weeks for shipment in May.

16k could be viable.

a low power area should be able to turn a profit with them.

Bitmain is splitting part of its business to Washington State......

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z3g726QtaM0

Appears to be setting up something in the Walla Walla area - which does NOT have super-low electric rates, poor choice of location IMO.
Can't check the business registration with the State of Washington right now as their system is down for upgrades 'till Monday - but 3'd party sites show the Ant Creek LLC being registered by Jihan (might be a different one, but what are the odds?).

Dual location in the state of Washington could allow for cheaper rate

The article I found suggested they were setting up a farm in Walla Walla - their listed "official contact location" is in a Tacoma area small city, so they're ALREADY dual located as a minimum.

I'd guess they're on a "contract" rate not a standard one - but they're probably still 5 cents more or less per KWH given that the quoted "largest consumption industrial" type rate for that area is somewhat more than 5.

Sounds dumb  but 5 cents for them is like 3 cents for a normal farm.

Their cost of gear is really low..  They  have sold s-9's under 1400  my guess is they can ship them  to the USA into their farm at 600 a unit maybe as low as 450 per unit.  That is a huge edge over any mining farm.

They still mine s-7's at hashnest  how many are really there?  with the dump of the V9 miner I would think  every s-7 they have on hashnest is an s-7 in name only.

They charge 71.44%  for maintenance

on the s-9   they charge  33.11% for maintenace

So they  are robbing a shit of money with zero audits and transparency is non existent in this case.

To clean scam gang, anyway presently I don't have time for moderating. Yep, I am not an alt of QS or Lauda. I may be ranking in billions, but what is Lauda's Tax number?

42
Where can I view with this number, website name etc.

You can contact people in this hardworking agency, they might help you for free and give you full details of anything you like.
nsa.
gov/
about/
contact-us
Someone knows why i can't write it in the same line or put a hyperlink? Thanks Roll Eyes
Why I should contact people when someone given me Tax number.
Here in India GST.gov.in and their is a Tax number that can be view-able, I dont think Lauda's tax number is 42 as it might be somewhere 15 to 20 digits.

in the USA it can be a ssn which is private

If Lauda has a company it can be an EIN that may be public
