I've not noticed any difference on may 14th when the N++ event happened.
1) difficulty was supposed to drop - I left nothing 2) GPUs were supposed to take a hit - AFAIK they still own the network.

I think the name gldcoin and symbol GLD are very attractive. So, it seems like anyone who has GLD should hold on to it for later. You never know, it might get picked up by an exchange.

GLDcoin looked like a scam, maybe it is, but it looks like a lot more people are paying it attention now that the other launches failed.
Na - GLDcoin was a really good launch. The author was even giving out 10k and 5k GLD on the forums. He really spread the wealth around.

Sorry for posting this in the noob section, but I wish to remain anonymous for now. Please move to Alt section.
Block rewards in order: 1 - 200 Block @ 10000 GLD (START Mining – They will go fast) 201 - 2200 Blocks @ 1000 GLD (should last a day) 2201 - 26200 Blocks @ 500 GLD (should last a week) 26201 - 48700 Blocks @ 400 GLD 48700 - 173700 Blocks @ 200 GLD 173701 - 673700 Blocks @ 100 GLD ~100 million total coins
So basically if you start with diff 0 in less than a day 14% of all coin will be already mined ? tha'ts a complete joke It won't be 14% of the coins gone in a day. In a few days if its mined difficulty will go up, and block rewards will go down. Why do we need 20 years to mine a coin? Is it better that the big miners heard of it first and mined 14% of the coins through sheer force? Or better than people are acually getting their hands on some coins. What usually happens is the big miners come in, difficulty skyrockets, and the ordinary miner sees nothing meaningful. What I did was try to give the little guy a chance. I also did not pre-mine the hell out of the coin like most others do, and I have been giving away 5000 GLD to people just for posting their address. We shall see if its a joke, or a flop. As I said it was worth a try. So far GldCoin is the best launch in a week!

I am spreading the wealth as fast as i can. Anyone who has posted their address can vouch for that.
Thanks for the 5k! This kind of launch will make this coin legend!

Hmmmm quick transactions, professional website, a reasonable re-target time, decent block reward. This could very well become something big IF the launch doesn't fail like elacoin.
Agreed. The launch has to be good.
