If you have 500 waves and 10 wct, how much vostok do you get?
So if someone has 100 waves, they will get about 30 vostoks so 300 dollars?
Does anyone have a clue on how much vostok coin will be worth about?

Anyone can answer this? I have to move my beancash from exchange to wallet soon.

HCP you created a shift wallet when you showed me those pictures right? So you downloaded shift... did you click on new account? Or did it automatically give you the 12 word phrase? I do not remember exactly because when i downloaded it and opened it up... i do not remember if i clicked on new account ... or it just created the account etc.
Okay well yes make sense i clicked on testnet. I notice that right now clicking anywhere on dropdown menu activate it. But i really do not remember this happening, thats the thing. Yes i get the part where the wallet just remembers the last one you selected.

I have some coins in binance. They do still show up there. So in this hack, does anyone know what percentage of users were affected? Were they mostly bitcoin holders? Were there altcoin holders that got coins hacked? Or was this only binance wallet?
Did they reimburse users who were affected by this? Or no users were affected by this?
Also if someone has 2FA enabled, they are not safe from this?
Can someone quickly summarize what happened here? Were most users affected by this? What coins were taken?
So would this exchange be safe to use now? I notice some coins i like... they have it and there is lot of volume in it.

What is the purpose of him claiming this? Do people here think it was him though more or less?
Also does he have a lot of crypto especially btc SV? He's already rich right? So this is for fame or something?
Do you know if they caught the people who hacked binance?
The other thing i wonder is this. What do hackers do with these coins? The obviously have to launder it somehow right? I mean if they sell the btc to an exchange and then lot of money withdraw to their bank account, obviously there is suspicion on what is going on. But of course one could say i bought a lot of btc many years ago when it was little price. But the issue here would be they check the wallet address right?
Also in the binance hack, were users btc affected or binance btc affected only?

This is what confuses me. People say you could sell bitcoin for cash using local bitcoin. But when you do this, the other person is usually paying you either cash or depositing cash in your bank account. But i read article that someone got arrested for selling bitcoin without a license? Can someone explain the difference between someone selling bitcoin to another person for cash in person or cash deposit into bank account vs using coinbase/gemini? Example if you could sell 5000 dollars worth of bitcoin to coinbase/gemini and pay like 25 dollar fee... but selling it to another person for cash deposit in bank or bank transfer/wire and they offer you more cash than you get from coinbase/gemini is that legal or not? I understand if you do it a few times, that is fine. But at what point do you need a license to sell bitcoin? I mean if you are trading bitcoin in different exchanges and buy or sell or do it on same exchange, that is legal. But you cannot sell it to people for cash if you deposit that cash in the bank account or they deposit cash in your bank?

I know with waves, you get waves when you lease them but you get very very little. But that counts as interest right?
What other coins allow this?
Okay anyone here who used upbit can confirm its safe? Anyone from the US use it?
Does anyone here think it can go above bch?
Also wouldn't it be good for bitcoin holders assuming you didn't sell any btc or bch or bitcoin sv since these were given to you for the fork?

Hey all related to this.
So its possible to send coins to an address that is different and transaction gets accepted and coins get lost? Can someone tell me what coins would that be going from one to another?
Example if you send ETH to a btc address, that would get rejected right? But from what coin address to what coin address would it work where you can lose the coins? I mean you can't send bitcoin to bitcoin cash and vice versa right? I did hear someone mentioning if you send usdt to something, you can get screwed?

Hi there. That is what i thought as well. But could you create the wallet in testnet? Example you change it from mainnet to testnet. Then create an account. If you have shift sent from exchange to shift... would it work or not? Would it get rejected because the address is not valid? Or would it get sent and you get your shift? But if you do, would it be in mainnet or testnet? Is it possible to have shift coins lost if you created it with testnet... then have shift sent from exchange to the address shown in testnet?

Okay i see your avatar shows livecoin so i guess you have shift there?
By the way, is livecoin good for shift and is it safe to use? Do you need to get verified there?
Also does anyone know if based on what i described... i created my account originally in testnet or mainnet? Could it be i created it in mainnet... but when i logged out and logged back in... i logged in with testnet?

Hey all thanks again. Also HCP is another member here who has helped me a lot. He downloaded the wallet and then said it showed as mainnet as the default... not testnet. So again... i might have misclicked? I dont think i did because im pretty certain after wallet downloaded... i clicked on new account.
Thanks to nc50lc and everyone in this thread for the help.
Do you have shift in exchange as well? I assume bittrex and you want to move it to shift nano wallet? When you create the shift wallet, when you write down the 12 word phrase... you need that every single time to log in your shift wallet. Do you know this? I thought that is very strange but someone told me this before i downloaded the wallet. I used electrum for btc before and you enter a password you create to log into it. Shift... you must log in with the 12 word seed.... which i thought is strange but thats how it works.

Hey all. I changed it to mainnet and typed in my 12 word phrase and i had to do a confirmation sending and it worked.
Again im wondering if i did create this shift wallet in testnet or not?
I mean i could have created it in mainnet... then logged out. Then accidentally logged in again with testnet but i dont think this happened. I think i might have accidentally clicked on testnet before i clicked on new account right? Someone who was helping me downloaded the wallet and told me when he opened it... it was set as mainnet.

I like to add that in order to open the shift nano wallet, you have to type in the 12 word passphrase. Electrum you type in the password you create. So basically you need to enter your 12 word seed every single time. So that is much different than electrum and other wallets.
So you say change it from testnet to mainnet. Then enter the 12 word seed. And see if my shift appears?
