2081  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin dumping towards 8.5k? on: January 01, 2018, 03:32:51 PM
Bitcoin price is likely to be stable around the $10k-$13k mark, it is highly unlikely to go below that.

However, if it does, then you can expect it to crash to as low as $5k due to the ensuing panic.

2086  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Ridiculous fee and will it ever get back to normal? on: December 31, 2017, 12:53:51 PM
Currently there is no direct solution for the high fees, using a segwit address will alleviate most of the problem, however its adoption is not complete, and many exchanges have not updated to segwit protocols. The best thing to do right now is push for increased segwit support, and contribute to the development of the lightning network, including bug testing the test networks.

2088  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Selling 180usd worth of BTC for 30usd PAYPAL (emergency) on: December 31, 2017, 02:01:51 AM
I'll take this, you send the BTC first as you're highly suspicious.
2089  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: do you think bitcoin will go back again to 10k or even below 10k on: December 30, 2017, 09:10:45 PM
Ripple seems to be gaining serious ground on Bitcoin, there is a fairly decent chance that bitcoin must crash below $10k.

I am genuinely worried that the current state of fees for bitcoin might collapse the market, unless segwit adoption is increased or the LN is fast-tracked, Bitcoin may be doomed before it has time to flourish.

This certainly is an excellent domain, could you please provide some proof of ownership?

Also could you provide some metrics for the site if possible?

The current BTC fees means this will not be worth it for me.
2093  Economy / Lending / Re: LOOKING FOR LOAN (wallet as collateral) on: December 30, 2017, 02:44:34 AM
I am shocked by the RED TRUST thing. I went to VOD for advice on who is safe and if he offers loans since he searches for scams. I was trying to protect myself and do the right thing. I never specifically asked for any loan without collateral. I'm not stupid and I wouldn't want to waste anyone's time here. I have 0.69 BTC in my wallet. Also have 2013 physical Bitcoin/Litecoin I have been kinda wanting to sell but I had limited messages I could send through and no pictures because of my ranking. I changed that now so will be posting pics soon as requested. Asking for a loan of up to 0.69 BTC with repayment of ((((Huh??))))in 60 days. I didn't put a repayment amount for the fact that I don't want to insult anyone or be laughed at. I hope to get that red trust removed without having to ask since it severely damaged my credibility. I'm very disappointed that I was attacked like that. Especially without a response given from him(VOD) first. So yes, I have collateral to cover my loan. Will read through the posts and respond accordingly. Thank you for your help.

A.Lynn

Why do you need a loan of 0.69 BTC, when you already have 0.69 in your wallet?
2094  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius coin loaded with 1 BTC (physical bitcoin) for sale on: December 30, 2017, 12:36:01 AM
Unopened, untampered Casascius coin for sale loaded with 1 BTC.  Kept in my home safe since Feb 2013 when I bought it.  $16,000 in cashier's check or money order takes it.

Are you going to prove you have the coin, and is escrow an option? Because nobody is going to send a newbie $16k upfront that's for sure.
2095  Economy / Lending / Re: LOOKING FOR LOAN (wallet as collateral) on: December 29, 2017, 11:22:54 PM
How much loan do you need, and how much BTC is in the wallet you're using as collateral.

These are pretty obvious terms that should be stated in your initial post.
2096  Economy / Lending / Re: Need 1 BTC loan. on: December 29, 2017, 09:26:02 PM
Hi guys. Please hear me out.
I have a fundraising page and received money on paypal (funded around 20500k). For some reason (maybe high sums in short amount of time) I can't pull money out now I need to contact support Sunday at the very least, everything is in check (could provide any info needed).
Need money ASAP until it gets transferred to my account. I want bitcoin to sell it tomorrow.
I don't know if this collateral is acceptable, maybe an admin could help securing it.But this is very critical for me: will offer my paypal account.
Will doxx myself with the help of an admin, if someone is trustful enough, I could even give my email. Will give 1.2 bitcoin in a week max. Thank you.

Woah, you'll even give your email for a $15,000 loan? Emails are hard to come by. Jesus, I'll fund this in a heartbeat.
2097  Economy / Services / Re: Why am i not accepted in any signature campaign? on: December 29, 2017, 05:47:52 PM
Firstly your English isn't great, you're representing a brand, image matters. The major problem is that you should capitalize your I's when referring to yourself, e.g. "I am looking to join your signature campaign".

Secondly, it really matters how quickly you apply to campaigns, there tend to be few member slots available, so they'll usually be filled quickly.

Lastly, there is somewhat of a presence to be gained from posting on BTCtalk, if you see members around often, you're more likely to want to work with them, particularly if you see them posting quality content regularly. This forum is about serving your own requirements, but also about contributing to the community.
2098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin in 2018 on: December 29, 2017, 05:20:31 PM
I think so long as the lightning network is successfully implemented within 2018, we'll see huge gains in BTC value, possibly reaching up to $80k.

If there is no near final LN, or if it gets banned in some major countries, then BTC will either stagnate, or improve slightly, possibly reaching $25-30k by end of 2018.
2099  Economy / Lending / Re: [Newbie][FAST] 3BTC Loan needed [Collateral/ESCROW] Included on: December 29, 2017, 05:10:39 PM
How exactly are you going to provide these two physical items as collateral, and expect your bitcoin loan within 2 hours, whilst using an escrow?

Unfortunately, it is likely you're going to die.
