2081  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: Free Satoshis? BTC "Faucet" In 2023 on: April 29, 2023, 01:37:34 PM
If this faucet worths or not, it will depend on how long it takes until you can claim your daily quota of 210 satoshis. If it takes few minutes I think it doesn't worth. Back then, on the early years of crypto market, faucets were worthful because they could be claimed instantly. You didn't take more than 5 seconds to claim few cents from a faucet, as you just needed to solve a simple captcha and an easy anti-bot test.

For people who can't afford the orange pill yet, there must be more efficient methods to acquire the money needed. Even begging on the streets seem a more convenient alternative than faucets nowadays, which lost their viability after Google Adsense banned their ads from this kind of website. Google Ads was the main income of faucet's owners, which allowed them to pay decent sums of satoshis to users.
2082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Someone at FIFA/UEFA should do something about the referees on: April 29, 2023, 12:40:00 PM
There have been many cases of unfair or doubtful decisions by referees along the years in important games, including the World Cup. One of the most memorable one is the 2002's World Cup which is said to have favoured the host asian teams, Japan and South Korea. There was also the Cup where Maradona scored a goal with his hand (la mano de Dios), and the referee was fine with that.

That is not something which is going to disappear from soccer. Therefore, like in Cobra Kai series on an episode where the competition's referee was bribed by the Cobra Kai dojo, Daniel San told his dojo's fighters they should fight much better than the rivals, in a way it would be impossible for the referee to take the victory from them.

The same applies to soccer. The team can't rely on the referee to win. They must show much superior performance to not allow this kind of trickery to get the victory from their hands.
2083  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will April be a red month? on: April 29, 2023, 12:20:54 PM
The hope that april will skyrocket and close to recovery turned out to be wrong, 2 more days april will end and it doesn't seem like it will be able to make any big surprises, today the price could go up 1.5% but it doesn't look like there will be a big price change in april.
Resistance level is too strong at 30,000$ level. It's really hard for Bitcoin to break the mark and guarantee a superior support line. On the other hand, I'm optimistic, because even though Bitcoin isn't making it, the scenario doesn't look too bad. Corrections in price are being smooth and aren't able to push Bitcoin's price down with high impact.

Scenarios like this have good chances turning into bullish ones, like a volcano which is constantly threating to explode, but seems to be never ready to enter in eruption, until it finally does, becoming unstoppable once it happens!
This seems as the most likely scenario, while bitcoin is unable to break the 30k resistance level its constant attack will eventually wear down the bears and it will allow for a very fast growth once that happens, how high the price of bitcoin could go? I think 35k is possible once that happens, however with so few days been left on the month of April it is way more likely this could happen on March or even June, as I doubt the bears are going to give up the 30k level so easily.
Yes, for April we are already out of time. That is something which is going to happen futurely yet. Maybe for the next few months... 35,000$ would be a nice achievement, but even better if BTC were able to hit the 40,000$, maintaining this level until the end of 2023. So we could start 2024 with Bitcoin stronger and pretty bullish towards a new ATH.

The problem right now are the bears retaining the price too much, but once the tendency flips, I'm sure these bears are going to become bulls instantly!
2084  Economy / Gambling / Re: Freebitco.in - FUN Token Investment Experiment on: April 28, 2023, 05:22:13 PM
CURRENTLY BENEFITS

SPINS ON HOLD MODE (09/03/2023 - 07/04/2023) ROI - 17,5461%

This month things have slowed a little bit. 1,36% profit made due to the depreciation of FUN token against BTC price which has been rising. For that same reason, I'm not using Wheel of Fortune's spins, since I will get less than 50 satoshis base reward per spin. I prefer to wait for a deeper correction in BTC price, so I can use them at once, while enjoying their full potential. If it's a good or bad idea, only time will tell, because BTC may not retreat anymore from the currently point it is...

2086  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: April 28, 2023, 03:12:09 PM
I didn't understand one thing: did they make up this whole story due to gambling being illegal in Nigeria, therefore they couldn't been spotted as gamblers by authorities, or did they do this simply because they wanted to retrieve the lost money?

If it falls under the first case, I don't blame mother and son, as I believe gambling is an individual decision of each person. Governments and regulators shouldn't forbid the activity or punish people for gambling. However, if it falls under the second case, I blame them, because they were acting maliciously to retrieve a money they didn't have any right over it anymore, since they voluntarily played a game of luck and lost it.
2087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: April 28, 2023, 02:59:33 PM
Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.

Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you
Altcoin is the kind of investment you can't give yourself the luxury of forgetting it till 2026. The market is constantly changing and by what we have seen, only Bitcoin and Ethereum were able to maintain their positions during all these years. If you are going to pick any altcoin besides ETH, it's highly suggested you don't forget it on your wallet. Instead, be vigilant and don't waste a good opportunity of selling it as soon as the market signs it in a positive way, so you can invest the profit made in solid assets, that you can finally forget for few years without worrying too much.
2088  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Investment in bitcoin on: April 28, 2023, 12:52:22 PM
Some expands to mining, trading and physical business but when you eat you investment at every little price increase or drops you tends to remained statics, holding is a good option no matter the current price. Some people who became big bitcoin investors became it as a result of holdings.
The ideal is that you cashout profits from BTC made along the years and diversify it for safety. I don't suggest putting it into mining or trading, because these are risky deals and mining, in special, is highly unprofitable for the average investor. Physical businesses should be also taken very carefully, because with global economical crisis everywhere it's not any kind of business which is going to be successful on your local area.

I believe a better idea would be to invest in properties at active neighborhoods. Cities where there are many students and workers is a good place to invest in houses and apartments for rent income.
2089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I am only trying to stay safe by gambling less on: April 28, 2023, 12:22:22 PM
Well I think at some point, your friends might not be wrong and asking them to show you probes of them making more profits than losses isn't a justifying reason to not count Bitcoin investment as not gambling because if you agree with me, you'll understand that there are people who are full time into gambling and are doing extremely very well in it as compared to some crypto traders.
You also spoke about studying the chart and comparing it to lives games and I also wanted to remind you that you can aswell compare this to soccer betting where gamblers also have to make predictions based on analysis as well and with this few points I think there isn't much difference between gambling and crypto investment since they both have to do predictions to Make profit.
I would say you don't have much knowledge about cryptocurrency trading if you are comparing it with gambling only because one needs to make predictions to get profit from both, which isn't always true when it comes to gambling since only sports betting involves predicting the future outcomes and all other forms of gambling are purely based on luck.

So wrong to compare it on trading since by looking at those two they have their own preferences and compare to trading there's a lot of way to gain or recover back when bad luck came to us. Compare on gambling where we only really on the luck we wish to come at the time we are playing and sometimes we execute all things in random manner. So with those things trading is really different and  those two choices is incomparable.
I believe it's fine to compare gambling to short term trading, because there isn't actually any difference between both. You never know what is going to happen on the next hour or on the next day with Bitcoin price. Only long term trading makes more sense from an investment perspective, as that is how solid profit is made on this industry cycle after cycle, which pushes crypto market as a whole to upper marketcap's levels.

Anyway, OP shouldn't engage into a competition with addicted gamblers to find out who gambles more or who is right on this matter. These guys are going to lose money sooner or later, and for OP it's better to be far from them once this happens.
2090  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 07:42:57 PM
To be honest, I don't believe that patterns can be relied upon in pure luck based gambling games. However, I have a strategy that I used a few years ago that worked for me, but only when luck was on my side.

The strategy involves predicting whether a number from 1 to 100 is odd or even, and it can potentially double the amount you wager.

First, you would start by placing a bet of, for example, 0.001 BTC, and predict whether the number will be odd or even. If you win the bet, you will receive 0.002 BTC. If you lose, you should proceed to a second bet, but this time, with 0.002 BTC, and again predict whether the number will be odd or even. If you lose again, the next bet should be 0.004 BTC, and you should continue to double your wager until you win at least once.

Once you win, you should start from the beginning again.

It can work if you have a large enough amount to bet with, as the chances of losing 7 to 15 consecutive bets are relatively low.

However, I want to say that trying this strategy is at your own risk, and I no longer use it myself because I am not a fan of gambling in pure luck-based games. Personally, I prefer to gamble on sports games, as it adds an element of fun to the experience.
This is Martingale strategy you described. And indeed, it's impossible a pattern can be identified on this method. You can lose 7, 15 or even more times in a row, as results are completely random. You may think to lose more than 15 times in sequence is unlikely, but if you gamble consistently for several hours you will see it does happen more often than you expect.

It might be that Martingale gives us a false impression there is pattern which can be exploited through the strategy, but that is just our psychological working against us. Unfortunatelly most gamblers only see this once they lose their entire bankroll after a long loss streak.
2091  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What went wrong with bitcoin! Reply on: April 27, 2023, 05:27:22 PM
My reply, sir generally the market is down not only to you but everybody, just exercise patients because even myself can not explains to you why the price is not going up, I guess this is as a result of low demands and supply's chain of distribution of bitcoin that has affect the market but don't panic am sure you will recover your money when the market rise soon, but how soon he ask? I said the market is rising slowly already.
The problem is that this person started investing in Bitcoin without knowing how the market works. He is so naive on this matter that he even asked when the price is going to recover. If he had studied the basics about BTC before investing, he would know by now that no one can predict accurately when Bitcoin is going to reach its peak again. He wants easy and instant replies for complex questions which talk about events out of our control.

It's always risky to introduce this kind of person to Bitcoin, because they can create problems for you later, even though you have nothing to do with this.
2092  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you stay updated on: April 27, 2023, 04:34:52 PM
How do you bet on such games? What are the things to be on the lookout for? Because I believe this is different from football ⚽, I also don't have access to satellite dish like my relative does, this is how he is able to get the best out of these sports.
Why do you think it's so different from soccer when searching for informations? Every sports follow more or less the same methodology of research. You have to look for statistics, history of athletes, recent news involving them, predictions made by another specialists... To say the truth I think with UFC and fight sports in general it's relatively easier to predict, because it's just one athlete against another, while on soccer there are much more variables, since we are talking about 11 players on each team...
2093  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The madness of gambling addicts. on: April 27, 2023, 03:38:43 PM
I guess he must have tried asking for money from the grandchild's parents, but they have probably denied it due to the addiction behavior of the man from past events, so he created a plan to take money from them in a forced way. It was a clever step from the man, but without any doubts that is a very sick movement from him to pretend a serious situation to receive extra money. Shame on him.
2094  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The psychology of betting..... on: April 27, 2023, 01:30:37 PM
What patterns do you see and how much do you believe in it?
I saw patterns until they showed to be just illusions from my mind. In fact there aren't patterns in gambling. They are personal beliefs from gamblers who think they can defeat the casino, but don't last long, because sooner or later these gamblers hit a long loss streak.

A very common pattern I saw was from a youtuber who played a roulette alike game. He believed he could predict when the white house on the table was going to be hit, so he didn't play on the red and black houses, but only on the single white house for huge multiplier.

For a while his method worked and it really seemed he had discovered a pattern. However, I doubt that was going to work forever, because there aren't such patterns in gambling. I didn't follow him anymore to see the end of the story (he was already playing for months), though.
2095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Never Expect Consistent Winnings From Gambling - A Lesson I Learnt. on: April 26, 2023, 07:04:24 PM
Well, for me it looks more an urban legend to impress the audience and potential gamblers instead of a real story, as stories of success from avid gamblers don't last too long like 2 months. Anyway, if it's really true, this guy had the chance to change his life with so much earnings from gambling, which allowed him to live wasting and lavishing without limits at hotels with pretty women plus having access to wealthy accessories and furniture. It was just a matter of how to use the earnings.

If he had been wise like the two boys from the first story things would have ended better for him and today he could tell everyone how gambling had a positive impact on his life.

How do you use Multiply BTC bonus? (The one where they double the amount but you must wager that amount x times).
What is your strategy? Do you try to launch bonus as soon as it appears, to have lower wagering limit, or do you wait longer to have a bigger base, in case of many lost bets?
There was no strategy used when the multiply bonus appeared at the top of my account, sometimes it immediately claimed it but sometimes it continued to grow, because I wasn't interested in playing, and to be honest I had never been able to pass the specified wager requirements, all balances would be used up.
But my advice is to use it when a Reward Point promotion is ongoing, because it will benefit from the RP you get, I mean maybe we won't win Bitcoin, or can pass the required wager requirements, but we won't be completely at a loss because we will get reward points we grow faster because we play multiply btc when the promotion takes place.
I applied for the bonus only once, but didn't manage to complete the task to receive the reward, because I made too high bets which immediately drained the bonus satoshis when the bets were lost, and when we lose those bonus satoshis the challenge is over. I think it's too difficult to take it to the end, because you are too restricted when placing your bets. You have to play slowly and in small portions, but then it takes a long time just to lose after all, anyway.

And indeed, your idea of applying for bonus only during RP promotions is the right deal, because at least you will be receiving extra rewards. Your effort won't be completely in vain when not achieving the bonus' requirements.
2097  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale strategy in casinos on: April 26, 2023, 06:07:42 PM
You should always remember that no player has unlimited resources to gamble with.
And we're no celebrities that has got millions on bankroll and they don't even attempt to do this strategy. Or if they do, they can afford to do it as they've got a lot of money.

But then, it all goes with how much we've got even if someone who's careful has got millions ready to be gambled. It's still unsure if this is gonna be the strategy that he'll do.

Well, if you want to lose quickly, this is the way.
Even if they did, casinos don't allow unlimited bet sizes. A gambler with an unlimited bankroll would hit the roof at some point. Some casinos state maximum profit per bet is 20BTC. If you had to go further to recover a loss through Martingale strategy, you couldn't due to the limitation imposed by the house. So ironically you would be still in disadvantage on long run, even with an infinite bankroll. Crazy, isn't it? Cheesy
2098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Politicians behind the development of gambling platform on: April 26, 2023, 05:30:40 PM
Politicians are the scum of the society. They will always put their interests above the interests of the local society. Thankfully we have cryptocurrency casinos which allow us to gamble at virtual platforms which have nothing to do with our local authorities. Therefore, you don't need to play at e-sabong platform, so you won't generate any profits and benefits for this politician and the people partnered with him.

Furthermore, don't waste your precious time thinking what politicians should or shouldn't do. They will do this anyway. The important is what you can do to stay away from them and from services and products they are involved with.
2099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Gas station payment with bitcoin. on: April 25, 2023, 05:25:08 PM
Is this for real? I guessed gas station would be one of the most difficult business' categories to start accepting Bitcoin as payment, because they are fully centralized around big companies and suppliers. To be a gas station owner doesn't give you autonomy to put your business on the direction you desire, as what really matters is the supplier. If the supplier doesn't agree with what you are doing on your business they can stop delivering to you and then the business is over.

At least, that was what I thought. Maybe because in our country the government plays a big role on every stages of the industry, with the exception of the final one (the final sale to the customer by gas stations, which are private businesses, but under a major brand/flag).
2100  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What role have altcoinsplayed in the entire cryptocurrency industry on: April 25, 2023, 03:54:31 PM
So this have led me to ask this fundamental question of what role have altcoins played in the cryptocurrency industry, Has altcoin played any significant role in increasing the adoption of Bitcoin?
I don't think so. When we hear about cryptocurrency for the first time we are immediately fowarded to Bitcoin currency. Bitcoin controls the market, so it's likely Bitcoin helps increasing altcoins' adoption and not the opposite.

Have alternatives cryptocurrencies help the growth and adoption of cryptocurrency in the global market and how far have the presence of alternatives cryptocurrency help the industry positively?
Or Negatively?
Yes, they help cryptocurrency marketcap to increase, although they aren't the main motor of the market, rather they are small gears that boost its power to maximum efficiency.

I believe the main impact of altcoins on the industry is to proportionate professionals from the informatics field to train and improve their skills, developing new knowledges and usecases for all the acquired abilities. Many developers got experienced working on blockchains and launching their own tokens, what helped them finding better jobs' spots at companies in a global level.
