Bitcoin would have some value to me, but not nearly enough. "Reversible like Paypal" would come close to destroying BTC.

The main problem at bitcoin now is that there inst new money getting inside always the same people trading them,when the new investors come inside well we will see it growing slowly,till that day we wont be able to cross the 300 dollars without some exelente news ,like google pays adsense with bitcoin,or some big company as apple allows us to buy with it and has a discount ,without such big news the price wont go anywhere.
No doubt that supporting some great companies the Bitcoin can be a logical cause that the prices increase, and i think this will happen soon as Bitcoin is getting up daily and we see more and more ewallets and companies making Bitcoin as payment processor, for example, so just we need some time to see that other companies like Google , ebay..will support Bitcoin as well |

Since i am in the bitcoin forum and i am using it i don't think to leave. I am really enjoying using bitcoin for selling and buying. Also signature campaigns pay via bitcoin so i think we should stay  That's a right decision. yeah well I try to hold my bitcoin for a longer duration so that I can make profit. but the rush of making profit in the short run always gets the better of me and I end up loosing bitcoin in trading.
If you found trusted and paying systems online to grow your Bitcoins i think you could investing a part of them, and this way you make some profit . Holding Bitcoins is good idea but we don't know the coming prices |

just buy bitcoins on monthly basis and hold them for price increase and then sell and rinse and repeat the process again and again.
it's not as simple as this way, you should making good experience about trading altcoins before doing this, because you need to choose the right altcoins to buy and trade, otherwise the prices can getting down easily and fast, and then you could making great lose |

as long as bitcoin is not mass adopted and used by everybody in the world, we will always need new ways of advertising bitcoin. there are still a large number of people in the world in different countries who have not yet even heard about bitcoin.
if we are planning on getting big, then we need to start spreading the word faster.
but I guess if bitcoin price starts going up and we don't see any more price declines I think that can be a very good advertisement. because the stability would do it for bitcoin on its own.

As I'm sure you all know, Bitcoin is a currency that allows users to make money or send money anonymously, with little to no concern of the government taxing your hard earnings, and not being able to know what a trade is revolved around. Bitcoin as of now has a reputation of being a dangerous asset to the world of illegal transaction (theft, scams, and overall illegal activity). There has been proof that bitcoins and other currencies similar such as altcoin and so on have been continuously tied to illegal activity.
My concern as an interested participant in the act to make this currency a well occupied currency is being threatened and truly compromised by people who still to this day sell and purchase illegal substances, and services. I constantly read people's trust commentary pages on how some users are "pedophiles" or sell stolen property. My only wish is that we get our acts together as adults, and prove to society that we are not criminals. We are just people that enjoy our privacy, enjoy being what we want, and enjoy freedom. Thank you.

There is a lot of ways to make illegal transactions with the other currencies, and scammers do it already everyday online and offline using Dollar and Euro currencies and so on. I don't see any specific relation about this and the Bitcoin especially. You think or believe that Bitcoin have a "negative" reputation because of this, it's just your own opinion , i don't think it's real fact. |

I've been using one for a couple months now and it's given no reason to mistrust it. But it seems weird to me sending my money to an intermediary that's neither a wallet nor a bank and is entirely online. Feels like the money is hanging out in some nowhere zone that isn't completely under my control...
Dies any one else feel this way or do I just not understand this stuff well enough yet?

You have to use an escrow to get your loan, and to ship your collateral to the escrow first, before asking the loan, so it can be considered as valid collateral
Otherwise without escrow, holding your collateral, i think it's hard for you to get this loan

Bitcoin is being accepted by lots of new merchants everday and other cryptos are just depended on bitcoin price atleast for now. Bitcoin has potential to grow and as payment processor it has lowest fee that's why i love to do transactions with bitcoin.
