1641  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Buying Bitcoins with Personal Checks? on: December 15, 2015, 12:25:17 AM
Hello, I was wondering if there is anywhere I can buy Bitcoins with my Personal Checks?
If not then I'll just put the money in my bank account and then do cash deposits.
 Cheers Cheesy

I am not sure about the choice of buying Bitcoins with Checks online, however i know some marketplaces and exchange sites using the debit and credit cards for buying and selling Bitcoin
1642  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Paypal vs. Bitcoin in the Marketplace on this forum on: December 15, 2015, 12:23:19 AM
The marketplace here use the Bitcoin usually because it's the Bitcoin's forum, and also Paypal with its chargeback feature isn't as safe as Bitcoin.
But you can visit the exchange section and ask there if you need to exchange paypal into bitcoin
1643  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Cloud Mining - Please help a newbie on: December 15, 2015, 12:20:05 AM

1644  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Did you earn some bitcoin today? on: December 15, 2015, 12:18:37 AM

1645  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Sent BTC without paying a fee on: December 15, 2015, 12:17:04 AM
Usually it takes some time (may be few days) to get confirmed, otherwise you will receive back this amount normally
But it's not advised to send bitcoin without the transaction fee that's complicate the transaction and make it lower
1646  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Methods of growing your Bitcoin? on: December 15, 2015, 12:09:45 AM
Try make faucet site hosting + domain you can get free in google
advertiser bitmedia. perday i can get 0.002 btc

Most of the free hosting services don't support the high traffic and make their ads in your website without your permission, it's preferred to use the paid hosting services when creating business sites like faucets for example
1647  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why arnt we seeing more bitcoin ATM popping up? on: December 15, 2015, 12:07:37 AM
I really thought this time last year that we would have a lot more
bitcoin ATM machines. There is so many people on localbitcoin especailly
in certain areas. I just really thought I would see more in heavily populated
areas. Why do you guys think there isn't many out there still? I know the one
I saw in California had ridiculous fee's but I think people still used it a lot.

I think that's because the price flexibility , and people want to wait till reaching some fixed price of Bitcoin online, that's facilitate converting it via ATM and so on
1648  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin 'real money' to you? on: December 15, 2015, 12:05:47 AM
Yes it's real money for me and for the most of Bitcoin's users, i think. Bitcoin can be converted easily to fiat online and even its price is higher than the other currencies till now, and its usability grow up daily and many marketplaces and ewallets started to use it already
1649  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: whats the easiest way to give btc as a gift? on: December 15, 2015, 12:03:39 AM
im using coinbase for my wallet but if i wanted to gift some for christmas to someone who does not have a wallet, how would i go about it?

Ask him to create a wallet online and explain him how it works and what's Bitcoin currency, and then send him your gift to his address there
This way you can advertise and support the Bitcoin in giving you Christmas gift

1652  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does any bank accept Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 12:36:02 AM
Is there any bank/financial institution somewhere in the world that has embraced Bitcoin? Not that I'd deposit my money there, I'm just curious to know it.

I don't know about the real banks, but i know that some electronic banks online accept Bitcoin already for deposit and withdraw, like Payza and Neteller and so on. Of course you can use this electronic wallets to charge your real account in your bank
1653  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin get faster transactions like Litecoin? on: December 14, 2015, 12:32:13 AM
I know how disappointing it is for having to wait around 15 to 30 minutes for a Bitcoin transaction to get confirmed by the network. But I think faster transactions could be achieved if devs decide to improve the code. Just look at Litecoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum. They have faster confirmation times and some good features. I have no doubt that Bitcoin will be improved in the near future and it will remain as the top crypto currency.
What do you think about it?  Smiley

It's depending with the mining rewards and the miners work online in the near future , if we talk about the transaction's confirmations , because that's in fact the job of miners which they are rewarded about
1654  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin, dogecoin, and litecoin the same ?? on: December 14, 2015, 12:29:30 AM
I want to ask whether Bitcoin, dogecoin, and litecoin the same ??
If all three are still dalah the founders if it is different ??
Where do you think is more promising among bitcoin, dogecoin, and litecoin ?? Is there a more promising more besides these three ??

I don't think this crypto currencies are the same, Bitcoin is the first and the most famous crypto currency online till now, the doge coin , lite coin are just altcoins trying to duplicate the Bitcoin's success but still far from the Bitcoin usability
1655  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: December 14, 2015, 12:26:54 AM
The increasing usability for starters. More and more parties start accepting bitcon and it is will grow and grow.
With that happening, it will make sense more people are getting into bitcoin.

If people would understand the potential of bitcoin, we would looking at a 2k price at least.

There is also the Bitcoin's features like anonymity and that it's decentralized currency, that encourage more and more people to use Bitcoin online.
Of course the price's increasing and the usability of this crypto currency are additional features encouraging more people to use it
1656  Other / Off-topic / Re: How many Bitcoins do you own and hodling longterm? on: December 14, 2015, 12:22:23 AM
See the question in the topic. Just interested about how many Bitcoins people here on the board own on average.

Guess it is < 1 BTC on average.

Nowadays i used to invest and make deals with bitcoins, that's why i don't hold a big amount of bitcoin till now
But i think holding Bitcoin is a good idea because it's expected that the price will increase soon
1657  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: December 14, 2015, 12:20:21 AM
Hey so i recently got about 1,5 BTC from a service i started and now im wondering what i should do with this. Any tips?

Try to hold your coins till the next halving at least, because we expect that the Bitcoin's price will increase soon, and especially after this halving date, you could this way making some profit
1658  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: paypal or bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 12:18:15 AM
I like paypal because of protection when dealing with sketchy sites Cheesy Otherways Bitcoin for sure

The chargeback feature can protect the Paypal users from some scammers online , that's why many scam sites don't use the Paypal
However personally i prefer using Bitcoin because it's faster and easiest way to pay online without problems
1659  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ever dreamed about Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 12:16:07 AM
Have you dreamed about Bitcoin before? Well, recently I dreamed that someone sent me 5 BTC to my Mycelium wallet. I told my friend (in the dream) that those Bitcoin worth around 3000 USD. If that was true ... One Bitcoin is equal to 600 USD in my dream.

Well, I hope the dream come true one day - be it free 5 BTC or 600 USD per Bitcoin.

I think that Bitcoin's price will increase soon and may be will get higher than this 600$ per Bitcoin soon.
Many dreams just show us a little bit an image of the near future and i think your dream can become real fact soon
1660  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate women to use Bitcoin? on: December 14, 2015, 12:12:46 AM
Lol what's about all the topics pointed towards woman and bitcoin?
People (and yes woman are people too) will use bitcoin if they see it can be used. If you want a specific audiance to use bitcoin, make sure they can use it.
For woman it would be great to contact some major fashion webshops to embrace bitcoin.
With the bitpay plugin/ API they can easily integrate it and woman can buy their favourite clothing online..with bitcoin

Bitcoin for sure can be used as real currency, and it's already used worldwide
But i think your idea about using the interested subjects for women like fashion and clothing can be good tool to motivate women to use bitcoin online
