The fight of scam projects in blockchain industry should be intensified. For over a year, this scam has become a huge problem to the industry and more reasons why I have supported the government regulations to stop this criminals from killing the the industry.
The more reasons why we have to embrace Security Token Offerings (STOs) before they finally discourage investors generally rather than fighting it. I really wonder what will be going on through the mind of big investors that has been scammed by this projects, it is really disheartening and I don’t think it is enough to know them from the list OP is trying to compiled through his thread because some might be reported falsely. If I were to advice most intending investors, stop investing on new ICOs. If someone is careless and does not accurately research the project, it can also be scammed by the STO. The difference between ICO and STO are legal regulations that will help punish scammers, but it will not stop them from trying to steal investors money. If project is scam there are surely information about it. This forum is also one of the best. Also, investigate every detail, if they are scammer you will surely find any evidence. |

Yes. We realize that the hype isn't working for an ICO now. Most ICOs are now successful, they use third parties. Like Exchange, to sell their tokens. Even though it needs more money to pay the rent for the place on the exchanger.
This is not the real growth,this is just the new strategy to sell your tokens by paying to the exchanges,the real solution is to built a good project and find the real investors and just make sure what is your goal and don't stop anywhere in middle. Yes, if the sale of other projects other than BTT was on the sidelines from binance, they would not have achieved this success. Very hard, last time I have sold bounty was nine months ago, I have tokens which are not on exchange but it looks like something is going on with project, few airdrops with no value at all and sites with small earnings they are not worth of time. Nowadays, it is almost impossible to make a profit from bounty or airdrop. Many of them wait for months without being listed, and after being listed, they are traded 100 times under the ICO price. |

nowadays we are witnessing the death of "raising funds with offering coins" which is known as ICOs but it seems like they keep trying to come up with different names for the same thing to try and keep it going a little longer. it was first STOs which failed and now it is IEOs which are even worst than anything they have done before because they are centralizing it to exchanges which are already shady and unsafe.

You should feel strengthened that Bitcoin is subjected to so much skepticism. In most cases people are salty about not having bought in sooner. Instead of utilizing the current bear market, they continue to talk about how it can't work. Little that they know, they will feel even saltier in the next couple of years when we reach new highs. People's main problem is that they think the initial stage of revolution is over, but it's far from over. We barely made it past our first obstacle and the second one is quite literally too distant with how this speculative phase won't just come to an end. Markets need time to mature, so does Bitcoin. It doesn't happen all that often to see a new shift in technology or money that could change the world. Instead of enjoying it, people fight against it.  very well-said. i feel sorry also to people who are being negative towards bitcoin or crypto or blockchain. if only they knew the benefits that they can derived from using cryptocurrencies, i bet they won't be saying any false statements towards this technology. but i believe, they will realize sooner or later about the amazing benefits from this technology and noticed that their perception was totally wrong. but i suggest, if people really don't know the concept behind a particular technology, just make sure that their statements will make sense or they will be perceived as the laughing stock in the community.
