Berlin Conference - EXHIBIT SPACE / PROMOTIONAL ITEM DISTRIBUTION (??) Guys, what do you think about paid promoting in the Bitcoin conference in Berlin? There are 2 possibilities (narknark found them): EXHIBIT SPACE (Limited) €2200 / $3,000* Includes: 2×3 metre (approx. 6×10 ft.) raw exhibit space, table and two chairs and an Exhibitor Service Manual. Includes: Listing as an exhibitor on the website and in other promotional materials as available Two free full-conference passes for staff members 20% off conference passes for additional staff members. PROMOTIONAL ITEM DISTRIBUTION (Limited) €1,000 / $1,500* Distribute your company’s advertising material, flyer, or ad-specialty item directly into the hands of every conference attendee. You’ll gain exposure at the event and your message will travel home with each conference attendee. Please note: The sponsoring company is responsible for creating, producing, and delivering the promotional item by an established deadline. Rising Media must approve item. Items not allowed: pens, notebooks/notepads, or lanyards. Right now we have lots of graphic designers and also some writers who could write the concepts... But would it be worth it? And are we able to pay for it? There will probably be: mcjavar, salsacz, narknak and Lurning (from Berlin). It means that at least one member should really come ( ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) ) and someone (Lurning) could bring there printed materials before the conference starts. Any suggestions? Nextcoin topic about the Conference: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1518.msg21724.html#msg21724

Once I receive my bounty for the video I will be sponsoring a giveaway via the YouTube channel. I also need to track down what became of the NXT that I and a couple of other individuals donated for a giveaway thread on NxtCoin.org as the OP is gone and I believe only a small portion was used, perhaps the remainder can be passed on via an new bounty or giveaway threads.
lyynx, are there any updates..?

How many comments/likes is enough for Cryptsy to add a new currency? I tweeted BigVern and he said he is looking into NXT and will consider after the source is released. looks like you can tweet him again ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

so can I create a topic "NXT 2.0" now? Can anyone teach me how to upload the code to the internets? And please here is my btc acc: asansdfoansdopjnaopsdn

A very newb question here -- why is there anticipation of a massive value change upon release of the source? People can begin work on releasing alternatives, I get that. The features haven't changed. What am I missing?
Nxt will be accepted in more exchanges, people will trust it more since the code was released.

Can we figure something out to support these things, so people who are actually promoting Nxt in the real world have the materials, a good website (marketing website, not a technical one, so a presentation site), and factsheets and goodies to hand out? Maybe we can pool resources as marketeers.
I'll have prepared a short Nxt introduce video, it could be also presented on Nexus7 tablet during the handshaking ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) Business cards are in progress: - https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1201.msg13532.html#msg13532They will be used in Miami conference: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,853.30.htmlAnd then in Berlin: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1518.0.htmlWe might print and use some already prepared (but not completed) infographics: https://nextcoin.org/index.php/topic,1565.msg20180.html#msg20180Marketing googlesheet isn't updated yet, but there are also some names.. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgAGADgnQcrtdHRrV3V3Z1lzOXVEMWtqdElUaEtqV1E#gid=9Based on the new branding, I could make business cards for myself for now. An up to date infographic would be great, though. The only one that would be useful from these (for my target audience) would be a seriously non-technical NXT/BTC one and a Nxt/Fiat one. The people who I will meet will be interested in new ways of payment and how safe it will be, not in any technical stuff. Basically : "How does/can this benefit ME from a seller/buyer standpoint?". I'm realistisic and know that I won't "sell" Nxt to these people outright in Feb, but I plan to ride the "fear" of BTC and the volatility issue that sales people will be scared about and point to the eco side from the other direction. Seeing as I'm going to meet international companies. The decentralised exchange will interest them, too. Cutting out the middle man is always interesting. You are right, it looks like right now - we need scientific papers and good articles with absolutely new ideas how cool Nxt is and could be. For now we are mostly only repeating some texts used for Bitcointalk crypto maniacs, but not for public. Then we can create useful infographics, videos, etc

Nice vid! Wideo makes making videos like that very easy, and the more we have, the better. I say that semi-facetiously, since I've spent hours working on the wiki and forums this week, and would love to see even a small fraction of the 200K+ in donations Petrik got for this work. I linked Petrik's video to the wiki. UPDATE: Someone just dropped me 50K Nxt. Really, really generous. I'm going to turn around, though, and divvy it up between myself and a few other folks who have been working hard this week -- opticalcarrier, drexme, and pinarello. Gonna spread the love, but thanks for sharing it, whoever you are. Thank you, currently I am working on "NXT mining" video, I hope it will look much better ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) here in the Gdoc I shared on nextcoin.org I can now see: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgAGADgnQcrtdHRrV3V3Z1lzOXVEMWtqdElUaEtqV1E#gid=1Video makers:salsacz pinarello allwelder leonardosegura Translators:mcjavar german, hungarian kevinkms chnese salsacz czech pinarello dutch Sondreviking norvegian allwelder chinese pufis Lithuanian DSoft German Osman24 Turkish Tadas Lithuanian ATpr Russian or Ukrainian BaiMangal Bulgarian mactrance Dutch nxtDigger Polish Jls. french redtux french LeFiste german vodkaaa german Graphics: LeFiste mr001 Tobre Screenwriter=== If we combine these people and maybe add some english corrector, we could provide cool videos that would also be translated into many languages... Added myself to the list of Dutch translators. So far I've translated optical's article and added it to the official forums. I could do some editing on the English communication as well if need be. Are these all bitcointalk usernames? Also, could this list please be recompiled with links to the associated work that's been done beside each item and a source to verify that each of these individuals are the ones who completed the tasks? Much appreciation to whoever does this Mr professorhandsome, now they are ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) (as I wrote about update in previous page - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=345619.msg4278949#msg4278949)

NXTEAM If I knew it would take so many hours, I wouldn't have done it, but friends, I've finally finished updating Translators Sheet in the Googledoc: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AgAGADgnQcrtdHRrV3V3Z1lzOXVEMWtqdElUaEtqV1E#gid=8Section is divided by languages, I added a lot of Nxt acc numbers, checked Wikis and added people from there. Then I checked all posts (!) from all mentioned translators (!!) and added links to the translated texts... (there is also one little joke :-) Don't forget about updating your Nxt acc if you had moved ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) It would be nice to have Wiki translated into many languages, we are expecting many newbies here soon, so instructions are: http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Help_translate- everyone is welcomed ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) I will try to update this sheet every month, but others can also update it themselves ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) There is a section for every week in the month, so just put there a link to your translations.... ![Wink](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/wink.gif)

Ok guys, I've setup the Brazilian Portuguese Wiki, imported the XML with the english data and translated the Home Page. URL is: http://nxtptbr.wikia.com/I will continue to work on the other pages tonight and in the next few days. If someone is feeling the Christmas spirit, donations are welcome: 9060914620736248721 Merry Christmas! ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) hi, wiki was moved, more info: We have a final, permanent home for the wiki at http://wiki.nxtcrypto.orgIf you go there and create a user account, you can start translating pages. The easiest thing to do is to go to http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Special:LanguageStats/, where you can enter your language code (de) and it will give you a list of pieces that need to be translated. You should be able to copy and paste most of what you've done already. For a bit more info, see: http://wiki.nxtcrypto.org/wiki/Help_translate

Punkrock is a german mod who was releasing posts about new versions of the clients. He also changed the downloading link from the Drexme's post. But all punkrock's links were OK, they lead to the right MEGA links.

please add big warning not to use downloading link from the cache. And congrats - now we have all clues.

Going forward from this moment: How can we be 100% sure someone coins are actually stolen? the victim could himself open an account and send the funds there....then after a period of time he then transfers the stolen funds to some new account and carries on happily ever after. MOTIVATION: Those who have there funds stolen may get some sort of funding to compensate for their loss. A greedy individual may take advantage of this. easily - look at the times and watch, there will be many other blocks like this.
