GuildMiners has solved TWO blocks in the last 24 hours. We now have a sustained base of 22 Gigahashes. This is your chance to get into a pool that has quick block generation (constant income) but still relatively few miners so you get a bigger piece of the pie. You are aware that you were extremely lucky, right? At 22GH you should solve a block each five days or something. Anyway, does the money appear immediately at CampBX? I earned a few bitcents, but they don't show up in CampBX's history. Is there a minimum amount for payments? Yes, we have a minimum payout of 1 btc. If you go to your account and select the "Transfers" tab you can see transfer into your account (payments from blocks) and transfers out (payments to CampBX). Once your go past 1btc, your full balance is transferred into your CampBX account automatically.

Man, I wish I hadn't made my directory allowing people to enter their own sites. No one even paid any attention to it.

http://guildminers.com/directory/We are currently tracking 130 bitcoin websites in 13 different categories. Once we launch our custom mining client, this will be the first stepping stone for hundreds of new bitcoin users! How is this site different from other directories? Each member is allowed a "like" or "dislike" vote which dynamically adjusts the rating in real time. Each member can also give a review on each website, describing your experience with the site. Along with Search Engine friendly links and attractive website thumbnails, we are betting on this directory becoming very popular for the new or curious bitcoin user. Thanks! Martin

In the future I see big commercial players of Bitcoin running their own mining operations not for Bitcoin but to ensure the sustainability of Bitcoin itself as it is their business. For instance, a friend of mine that works for Google vaguely (confidential on the details) told me that if the Internet were to go away in terms of a disaster any one of their major datacenters could bring it back online.
Your friend is pulling your leg. The Internet is two things - data and delivery. They may have a good percentage of the data available, but they don't have the pipes running to every corner of the world.

Putting "what the fuck" or other profanity on a poster is not going to portray bitcoins in a positive light.

People keep making MMOs, yet keep losing hundreds of millions of dollars because they think it's going to be the next World of Warcraft. They never are and they never will be.
I disagree. WoW is losing members, people are getting sick of the grind. The first MMO to come out with something unique will be very popular. Same with cryptocurrencies.

It's always sad for the community to lose a member. Good luck to you.

Has anyone told you that you kind of look like Nicolas Cage? Congratulations, a great product to be sure!

In order to accomplish this I would need at least 32 Bitcoin Merchants willing to sponsor a spot on the board. Cost would be between $400-$500 (US not Bitcoins). Sponsorship would include your company name, BW logo, and a copy of the game. If I can get 32 merchants to step up in time I’ll get production underway. If not, we’ll just have to try again next year.
I'm not sure which printer you contacted (there are dozens that do this) but your numbers seem way off. $500 x 32 spots = $16,000 to print 500 black and white boards (average minimum) - that works out to $32 per board? After the bitcoin community pays for the boards and an obvious healthy profit for yourself, what happens to the $30 per game you sell?

I also registered some domains too prematurely for bitcoin business ideas I have since abandoned.
Post the domain names you have for sale. As long as you sell them for what you paid (~$10) I'm sure you'll be able to unload them. My biggest bitstake was turning off my miner back in 2010 after I had mined 100 coins cause I didn't see any value.

... c) less anonymous - for example, I wouldn't use my main google account for any of bitcoin services.
So you would like a centralized but anonymous service?

Guildminers uses IPB Forum Software to handle user login and management. It's mature, fully featured and compatible (via cookies) with our frontend - it also allows login via Facebook, Twitter and OpenID. Of course, the largest open source login system is OpenID ( http://openid.net/) but I'm not sure if it has any management system - it would probably need to be tied into your system.

Thanks Clown Coin. Im running on two hours of sleep. This 5 hour energy crap is a lie. I feel like someone just slap me in the face with a box of Hot Pockets after drinking it. Interesting. I get the same reaction after drinking "Amp" or other energy drinks. They make me want to sleep right after.

I wonder if these type of photographs can be found on ancestry.com? "Look, MY grandmother was a racist!" I'm a bitcoin developer. I may be white, but my name is black.

We have no reason to make up the numbers ourselves.
You don't? Do you realize if no one is trading on your exchange, it will not attract new users? If you make up large numbers it would encourage others to join and trade, as an alternative to MTGox.

What is your directory website? Is it like a list of Bitcoin business's ?
A directory of all bitcoin websites, yes. I'm just populating it now - it's not yet launched to the public.

"Third Largest", especially in volume traded, really doesn't mean much. Two or more of the owners could set up accounts and move bitcoins back and forth, commission free.

Ray, what is your last name? I'll add you to our directory.
