Black Caucus Members, Sen. Rand Paul Meet on Justice ReformEight members of the Congressional Black Caucus met today with Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) in a small room adjacent to the cloak rooms on the House floor. The members convened the bipartisan meeting to focus on what they might be able to work on in the future regarding justice reform. Attending the gathering were Reps. Bobby Scott (D-VA), Corrine Brown (D-FL), Frederica Wilson (D-FL), Sheila Jackson Lee (D-TX), Al Green (D-TX), Cedric Richmond (D-LA), Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ), and staff members from House Judiciary. Sen. Paul could be seen on the House floor chatting with members before the meeting as the House voted on the USA Freedom Act. The justice reform powwow was convened by Rep. Scott who has successfully worked with Republicans and fellow Senate Democrats to pass several justice reform bills into law in recent years. Over the last five to even years, justice reform has become increasingly bipartisan. ... http://www.crewof42.com/cbc-2/black-caucus-members-randpaul-meet-on-justice-reform/

Sen. Rand Paul: What You Discuss on Your Phone Is None of the Government’s BusinessThe sacrifice of our personal liberty for security is and will forever be a false choice I’ve long said what you discuss on your phone is none of the government’s business, and the Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit agrees. Today, the federal court struck down the government’s sweeping, undefined, and illegal war on civil liberties, ruling that it is unlawful for the National Security Agency to collect the bulk phone records of American citizens. The three judge panel slams the overreach of the NSA’s limitless metadata collection and privacy intrusion, writing in the opinion that the program was an “unprecedented contraction of the privacy expectations of all Americans.” The court judges the program’s premise as ineffectual, stating “the records demanded are all-encompassing; the government does not even suggest that all of the records sought, or even necessarily any of them, are relevant.” This is an important victory for privacy, but the fight for liberty must continue in the Supreme Court and Congress until this grave miscarriage of justice is completely repealed. ... http://time.com/3851286/nsa-court-decision-rand-paul-patriot-act/

Damn, Wilikon wins longest post ever award, pics galore. Bill is definitely the breed that one doesn't want their daughter to meet in a back alley alone.

Even though this thread is ridiculous, at least it's a step up from posting filthy kiddie porn and pedophilia references. Maybe socky is heavily medicated recently

Interesting, arch-neocon Sheldon Adelson and his casino conglomerate buddies ain't gonna like this one bit. Or, this pushes that whole crew into accepting bitcoin for bets and maybe even program their slots to give better odds to patrons betting in bitcoin. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Now we're starting to look healthy up in here! Long live this rally thread and may the wind be at all of our backs going forward.

I'm a little nervous for this Steve fellow. Dude seems totally newby at trading and it's like watching someone waltz up to a roulette table for the first time w/ their life's savings. Nothing could possibly go wrong, or. My guess is, this stack of 8k is going to diminish at a steady pace or in one fell swoop if he starts messing w/ leverage. Best of luck tho. ![Undecided](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/undecided.gif)

Good questions^. I had thought that these guys were positioned down in South America (Argentina?) but had their vault in some bunker in a Swedish mountain. Now, sounds like they were out of Cali and needing to bolt to Switzerland. They claim that they have the largest bitcoin holdings in the world and I'd like to know if that is true.

This whole mystery about Satoshi seems to be a major play in a large way on that movie "The Usual Suspects" just in a different way.

I don't know why but I'm quite surprised to see someone from Iran on here. Likely, I'm falling prey to the media's portrayal of the middle east and just thinking that bitcoin might not be allowed over there. Anyways, you'll probably have to hang around here for a couple months until you reach full member status so you can get a decent rate on a sig campaign. I'd sure be looking to accumulate more than just 10$ worth but then again I don't really know your needs or plans.

Hope all investors checked it out and made their own decision but they should make their thoughts/opinion known here. Nothing else on this subforum (besides a few) is doing anything besides CVFS so that is your question atm. Lots of mining crap but no new biz models that are working like CVFS. Say your piece.

I'd hope to take senior members at face value if they're not buttchop but this one seems a little less on the info than it should be. OP should spell it out further for the rest of us.

Just curious, but are you all fishing crab and lobster or tuna and tilapia? Anything else or is this just all one big lol? Ever killed some whales?

I would expect that Fox's audience of millions would note that there was one glaring and obvious dismissal and hiding aspect here and that is that Rand isn't showing on the list above, despite their thoughts toward him that were driven over time by the channel towards him. Hello, where's Waldo/Rand? Sadly, I doubt it even crossed their radar which is what sux and is disgraceful.

Fox News excludes Rand in head to head polling against Hillary ClintonIt's on page 20. They polled just about every other Republican verses Clinton, including candidates who aren't polling high at all such as Fiorina and John Kasich. This is outrageous but to be expected. Rand did the best against Hillary in their poll last time, so they had to exclude him this time. We're just going to have to expect more of this throughout the entire campaign. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/interactive/2015/05/13/fox-news-polls-huckabee-seen-as-more-ethical-than-most-clintons-favorable-slips/I saw the segment earlier on Fox's Special Report w/ Bret Baier and the hatchet job was to show Rand polling at 7% because Carson just got his post announcement bump which much of his support is transferable to and from Rand. They either didn't poll Rand against Hillary which doesn't make sense, so instead they found out what normally happens (Rand polls highest against Hillary than any other republican) and decided they wouldn't include it in the news segment so they could only show Bush eeking Hillary out rather than Rand too. Very dirty. This is the frame that I saw which tipped me off to look into this whole thing even further especially because the posted the GOP poll results of Rand out of the race and down at 7% but wouldn't show him in a matchup against Hillary. ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fi57.tinypic.com%2F142d94n.jpg&t=663&c=tQIOM5i36YGs6Q)

The head of U.S. Cyber Command said Monday that the ability of ISIS to recruit adherents online is "a trend that is clearly increasing, not decreasing" and that the terror group's ideology is "increasingly resonating" with Americans. Adm. Mike Rogers, director of the National Security Agency, also said that the terror group's recent efforts to use cyber capabilities as a weapons system rather than only for recruiting and spreading ideology is a "great concern" to the NSA. more horseshit... http://edition.cnn.com/2015/05/11/politics/nsa-cyber-terror-isis-recruitment/index.htmlMy bs meter is pegging. Pure propaganda to build a justification for doing anything in the name of defeating 'ISIS'. As per usual, there's likely some down and out nobodies that are feelin the isis bunk and those are the ones that the NSA should be focusing all attention on and nothing more. So, the NSA is Clappering again. They better be careful or they'll get Snowdened. Clappering is the name of the game these days but now it's apparently also known as forgetting which no sane/objective person should accept nor believe. Just a slap in the face/middle finger to the rest of the population.

It took this small mom and pop gas station/convenience store over a decade to accumulate this 100k in their account so these guys are rural relaxed types that are just trying to run a business on the outskirts. The likely only reason this was solved correctly was because Fox News was talking about this specifically last night.
