At the end of the day Altcoins are non existent and have no meaning until i come back here to this bubble.
Where users chant "free market" and "no laws" so they can profit off the lawless situation.

I dunno i guess i am highlighting back the personalities here.
Why are we here doing this.. and to me what i have seen as the issue is.
The majority in control steering the crypto scene.
A handful of visionaries can sway the scene ?
Bitcoin did just that actually.. so who knows.

What is like a pyramid is the amount of winners vs losers.
You are quoted saying they are equal basically.. that is not possible mathematically.
A large gain is directly sourced from the loss of MANY.
And it is like a pyramid because all of these coins have a handful of BIG winners which are rare.

And the OP here was referring to a growing type of coin.. the MLM scam coin i think.
But it is not just that.. most coins have elements of an MLM coin scam.
You don't need to have all the boxes checked for it to be scammy.

Problem is people don't care.
It's like buying a lottery ticket for some big 50 million dollar draw.. they all know there is no chance at winning but buy into it anyway.
And users here in the Altcoin seen don't care about a coin being scammy.
All they care about is the prospects of getting in and back out again before the Pyramid collapses on them personally.
Which is tied to what coins are attractive here or not.
All the users simply gauge the amount of risk it will be for them buying into the scheme.

In reality the majority do not have any interest in what is scammy.
They really only care about whether that trade symbol on Poloniex will give them ROI'z.
So preaching to them is rather pointless.
If you point out a scam with lots of victims it will probably just attract more.. like an advertisement.

It didn't exist in the first place.. everything has laws.

I don't see Altcoins as an inherently lawless thing that needs to be defended with "freedom to scam"
Crimes were already crimes before this crap was invented.

The idea that Altcoins can remain unregulated / lawless is silly bullshit.
The various pre-existing financial laws that existed before that partially covers crypto in general..

I am saying many of you have this stance on it all that this SHOULD be lawless.

I have always said i am not against making money.
I am against making money of things that are not constructive.
Admitting to making money off coins you shouldn't has a negative cumulative effect.

First thing i said was check your event viewer.. there may be a clear answer there for you.

And that tweaker won't do anything unless you click on the options.
It has no installer to so there is no way to install or uninstall it.
So i am not sure how you "uninstalled" it.

My point was that i do things different and not so much that you should.
If you are not an advanced user doing advanced stuff may not be a good idea.

If you DO in fact have a Realtek audio chipset (integrated on motherboard)
You might have better luck using the driver from Realtek's web site and not the default Microsoft one
Why that might be helpful is if your audio setup is screwed up the process of changing drivers might help.
It would basically reset how it is.
So it 's not so much a 1 don't work and the other does thing.

I am curious how many tabs you might have open all with an audio feed on them too.
Most of the time i have Firefox running and i try not to open to many tabs especially at places like Youtube etc.
Anyway it could be lots of things.. check that event viewer and go from there.
Poke around to see if there is any messages related to audio or maybe your browser etc.
That is why the event viewer is there.

To get help you should post more info too.
What soundcard or sound chip do you have ?
What type of audio setup is it ?
Digital / Analog HDMI ?

It's been a LONG time coming but i have lost almost all interest in Altcoins (and even Bitcoin)
Don't be surprised if i end up wandering off at some point people.

The thing is i have stopped trading for profit probably 2 years ago roughly.
I also quit looking at the ANN section around the same time.
I quit paying attention to the tech behind coins too.

I wouldn't call this a farewell topic but in a way i'm already gone.
At this point how the world of Altcoins has evolved has left me behind.
(for example) The emergence of ICO's is not something i want any part of.

The days of new coins like Prime Coin or Grid Coin coming out seem to be gone.
Sure there is different coins out but i don't see them as pushing in the right direction.

So what's left for me in crypto ?
A whole lot of FUD and Altcoin history lessons for Noobs ?
I'd say that is covered here by others LOL

It is what it is.
If there is some coin i criticize a lot (not naming names) others will do it too anyway.
Because what you see is what you get.. it's all there right in the open.

Look in warning and error category for notes.

Did you install drivers for audio ?
Did you install any software related audio stuff ?

What soundcard / chip is it ?

Google device manager and see if there are any flags.

I would make sure you have the correct drivers installed.
If they were from MS maybe try using some from the manufacturer.
You were also vague big time.. you didn't say what it is you were doing.
What was the audio coming from and what else might you have been doing when it happened ?

I get graphics fuck up's far more often than i do audio myself on Windows 7.
I use the LAV codec package for EVERY type of audio and video there is.
Then i installed Icaros for thumb nailing and disabled Windows Media Foundation 100% with Win7DSFilterTweaker.
That gives me far more codec support and far more advanced codec support than MS bullshit.
And it's configurable unlike MS crap too.

Then i also downloaded a package i found that is "Dolby Home Theater" which works on most Realtek Audio chipsets.. which gives me a variety of audio post processing stuff that is really cool.

SO.. i killed off all the MS crap for audio basically and used 3rd party stuff instead.. and it's awesome !
