If you post on their thread factual statements regarding observable events even giving them the benefit of doubt they delete it on the grounds of you requoting too much of post you are directly responding too.
If you repost it removing the requoting altogether they delete it again.
This project is a dangerous and shady insider scheme.
I had previously given them the benefit of the doubt since they claimed they only distributed the vast majority to a handful of people because everyone thought the project was a scam.
However now they have started to delete all posts enquiring or stating facts about their narrow distribution and collusion/market making it makes it look even more like a premeditated scam coin. Lying about the reasons they delete the posts too.
I would like to get the exact distributional figures. Someone said 80% went to 6 people? is that the case?
Hello OP, require to explain more in details on why you think its a scam I am not a ICO investor, but i bought it during months ago when i see how privacy coins tend to be popular with the anonymity features like PIVX, MONERO. Just wanted to ask, is the reason why you name it a scam because 1) You mentioned the distribution is unfair during the ico when only few person bought it? 2) They are clone of SDC 3) They delete the post? I am not sure what happen within you and the team and why they delete your post, but few things i can tell you as follow by the process within this few months ICO price were just $0.001 because only $15,000 raised for the ICO If you have join the slack, you would see the devs giving updates very frequently and he seems to be a very technical guy because i couldn't understand those technical terms But one thing i don't agree with is your point (1), narrow distribution. Instead of calling that scam, we should say thats the past ICO crowdfunding method. Currently all the ICO are doing for X price for X token for EG. 1 ETH : 200 Xcoin Previously every ICO is done distribute proportional based on how much you invested Amount of contribution / Total Amount Don't think calling a project scam because of the distribution is appropriate, but your other point could be valid. Then follow by ICO with strong technology like CIVIC, EOS, BANCOR, BAT
Is there a specific trend of ICO launching follow by a similar pattern?

I don't think anybody want to buy this coin after bounty scam. Yes they paid signature users, but they didn't pay a lot of blog writers even though they accepted works. First they decreased total blog prize pool (which is very big amount, worth +600.000 USD now), then they delay payments, then they denied some accepted blogs and then decided not to pay. You can see all evidences in this forum *. If they were honest and paid blog bounties as promised I'm sure nobody would complain here. The knowledge you have of the whole situation is limited, Let me give you a little insight into actually what happened. The whole blog article situation was triggered off after we realised an error in how the article bounty was presented. Article bounties should have been in the same payment structure as whitepaper translations and the main thread translation. We only noticed this after the bounty program was coming to an end, we had not finished counting of how many articles we received in when those who wrote articles starting suggesting they were the only ones who had participated and were in titled to the whole bounty allocated. When then realised what was going on and moved fast to correct the error. Now I must admit that there is some blame on our part for not acting fast enough sooner as we introduced the article bounty last of and at last moment, we then decided to correct the issue further by handing up to 1000 - 2000 PPT for article bounties which we thought right. instead of handing out article bounties which should have been starting around 60 PPT per article. After all, translators did a lot more work but received far less. Everyone agreed to the new fee structure and have been paid since. We initially decided to award everyone for their effort in the Populous bounty scheme regardless of how good or bad their articles were but then decided to review all articles subject to our initial criteria, we did this because we saw the greed in those whose copied and pasted content directly from our website and were demanding bounties. If we handled the article bounties bad that is our fault but to suggest we are scammers is totally without fact. We have archived messages from article bounty participants who have since been paid but still continue to spread FUD, those know themselves and we will soon publish private conversations between ourselves and them. This communications includes wallet address and proves they have received PPT. I don't have anything against referrals in principle, but from some ICOs I have seen, such are more likely to be a scam. It incentivizes reviewers to write positively about the project. Therefor I suggest to be very critical about such ICOs and do a check on the team as well as looking for some completed work. If a project with a referral system can offer just a site + WP, something likely isn't right.
Generally the principle of referrals in ICO is to bring more investors, but in the same time it turns it more towards a scheme or pyramid operation. I been writing for quite some ICO project and being unbiased towards any parties should be the best for everyone |

The reason of china ban is too many people using the technology of "Blockchain" and the terms "Cryptocurrency" to play with money game.
Those project are just HYIP and sort, we don't see it in BTCtalk because it is very simple.
Their operation will be, someone found the site, someone promoted and people join.
They just use the terms "ICO" as a camouflage and this, destroys the "ICO, Cryptocurrency" Terms in the eye of people who don't have idea about the industry.
Why do i know? I am a chinese, i know how chinese works and the ecosystem of the ethnic of chinese;D
