2101  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: July 16, 2013, 02:34:43 PM
If you already have everything in place, I doubt you need the water blocks. But if you ask me, that means that I am going to buy a 7mh/s increase for 15€ per board with additional costs of about 200€ per 10-16 boards.

Im not sure that is worth it.
how big (and valuable) is the difference of the noise?

Kinda wish now I could move my securities at BTCT.co over to BF.
for me BTCT.co is much better (I know both and the handling of BTCT.co is much better)

When I have the money, the OTHER SIDE has to show me I should trust them.

If you want to risk anything, I'd say risk it on BTC-TC, which is more sound, more public, and probably more secure ... (Does anyone have a single bad thing to say about BTC-TC?).

2107  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Watercooling on: July 12, 2013, 10:36:41 PM
Can you translate this into cost per miner? For example "Watercooling a bitburner XX would cost X more €/$".

Tried ALL different firmware including firmware 0703 from CKolivas (yours)
Tried softboot/hardboot/new router/new service/new cables/new account/new internet/open firewall/check cables/direct usb (per avalon suggestion) and now offering reward for getting this thing up and going.

Email me at thejamesfund@aol.com or post message/hint. Will reward with BTC

you don't know how much sleepless nights I had, how much troubles, how much emty kilometers etc. with batch 1 (nearly nobody can help because all was a new a world for all of us...)
If I knew a bit more of your specific troubles, perhaps I can help, because I have had nearly all troubles -> and solved it Smiley

It's probably a silver Avalon and those don't have a temp2 sensor.
yes ist is, batch 1
2113  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 11, 2013, 04:34:05 PM
everything else looks good except Temp2 which is malfunctioning.  looks like your sensor is bad.
this is since first day and has never shown other here Huh

I think it's better to limit it to ~330 MHs[/code]
2116  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 11, 2013, 02:20:01 PM
so now it has run for ~2.5h and gone to 346 MHs

but HW is 2144 (thats 11.xx%)

I think that is much to much or?
2117  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot for nodejs on: July 11, 2013, 01:11:20 PM

That's a bug in Gekko, if you could let me know some details (like are you running the latest version, what exchange and interval) I will look into it!
I have updated now
Code:
git pull https://github.com/askmike/gekko.git && npm update
and I am on Bitstamp
interval is 30

still the same
Code:
ADVICE is to HOLD @ 85.810 (NaN)
which part of config.js do you need?

(BTW: is there any possibility to git pull without to fill out config.js every time new? - I rename the existent to .bak and copy/paste the settings in the new one)
2118  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Gekko - a javascript trading bot for nodejs on: July 11, 2013, 11:42:44 AM
what means (NaN)?
Code:

2013-07-11 13:03:39 (INFO): ADVICE is to HOLD @ 86.400 (NaN)

a few hours later it happened again
warm reboot does not solve the problem
all 0,00
only a switch off, wait 20 sec and switch on again helped...

Can you post what the Status -> Cgminer API log shows at that point?
ok, 2 hours later the same...
I think in a few hours it is coming again, then I will try to copy/paste Cgminer API log
2120  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon ASIC users thread on: July 11, 2013, 09:19:13 AM
Remove all the --avalon options, set a Chip Frequency(for example 282) and try again. I also have a silver Avalon that doesn't like the new --avalon options. No idea why, I don't have much time to investigate so I have it hashing at 282Mhz.
