2101  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: HARDFORK 12/31 | CRYPTO BULLION (CBX) VAULT 2.0 w/ PoSP | UPDATE NOW on: December 26, 2015, 06:16:40 PM
HI,

Something is up with the new wallet. Mine says it is version 2.1.0.0. Is this correct? Also, it doesn't seem to want to sync. Can somebody explain what is going on? It sure isn't going to stake if it doesn't sync up.

Thanks,

CapnBDL
     Cool

edit: I think I somehow was linked to a test wallet but it came off the OP page here on BCT. Must be an ooppsss! LOL Should be a handsome reward on this error!!!

It did finally sync tho. Just took it's sweet time getting there.

HI,

Is anyone else having a problem getting their wallet to sync? I think I have the latest (v4.0.3.0-g354c0f3-DigiSpeed 64-bit) but it just won't sync past block 1440808 & I have 10 connections. That's already 4 days old. Tried just about everything I can think of. Any suggestions out there?

Thanks!

Way cool....the FLY MAC-attack wallet is here. Don't know who you are...but thank you greatly! I'm not a mac user, so I will let those guys give you feedback. I just wanted to say 'Thanks'.

Do NOT make any outbound transactions from your main wallet
I had my 100 FLY in my wallet for some time. Before "Savings" function as added, I staked (and received SuperFLY rewards) coins. Now I have about 104 FLY. Can I withdraw these 4 FLY?
And by the way, please update OP post (list of members qualified to receive SuperFLY rewards).

Somehow, your withdraw question was overlooked so I will TRY to answer it for you. If you were staking to your 'MAIN' wallet to give you the 104 FLY total, I would not try to withdraw. It would mess up your staking and you will get hit with large transaction fees. If you stake to your 'Saving(s)' wallet the transaction fee is lower. It's like your pocket change, to spend as you wish. However, the last I heard, even the Saving(s) wallet is temporarily being hit with the higher fees. So my suggestion is: Let your FLY sit in your wallet for now. Make sure you 'claim' your addresses and just enjoy the staking rewards.

I hope this helped. Feel free to ask away if you have further questions.

Payout 389488 sent and confirmed

--

Hi guys.  I just turned my s7 to the pool ヽ༼◕ل͜◕༽ノ and I have a smallish question.  I set min diff to 4096 but I'm sure its supposed to be x2 or x4 higher, I know the pool adjusts it automatically but i've been on it for over 5 hours and it hasnt.  So question = what diff should I manually set, or put it to 0 ?
Well as Nuttycoins said above, set it some value not quite a power of 2 if you wish to set it yourself for an antminer.

What you actually set it to though, will only affect variance, it won't affect your expected rewards.
The pool will adjust it up pretty quickly (almost immediately) if it is too low.
By 'too low' we mean you are sending shares noticeably faster than about 18 per minute.

To further comment, I found that if you actually try to set the diff, the pool vardiff won't perform any adjustment (I don't know why). It stays at whatever diff you entered. Best thing I found to do, is set the 'worker' diffs to 0 (zero) and leave it alone. Sometimes it takes finding a block before that kicks in...but let the pool handle the settings.

Hope that helps!

Hey Vegas,

Yeah, I agree with gregofdoom & cryptonit and would really prefer to know what is going on with FLYcoin. Just ignore the other crap, as tough as that may be. It was sooo nice to finally see the exchange fixed so a bunch of us could withdraw and start staking our FLY. Give your devs a pat on the back, loan them one of your cars for the weekend even! LOL

I like the idea of the auto-update bootstrap. You don't know how many times my computer gets reset for Windows updates and I forget to close out my wallets beforehand. That can really scramble a wallet & downloading a whole chain over again is not exactly a party. So Thanks again to your devs.

See where this is starting to go? We not only trust and believe in You and FLY......but, damn, what a great bunch of 'coders' you have. It was beginning to get a bit scary when I couldn't do a withdraw. I hope you give everyone the holidays off and give FLY time to settle down a bit. It was a pretty shakey last month.

Thanks,

@Hippie Tech,

WTF Dude... I want some of whatever you are smoking. Don't be such a bogart and pass that fatty over (No..not your girl, sheesh) Really tho, ya need to clean up that long-winded post before you will ever be able to get a truthful answer to your ramblings. You've got shit so scrambled that I need to dig out my old decoder ring! So make me laugh...how much did you spend on CON? Better yet, PM me how much you lost because you bought an ICO you couldn't hang with long enough to see the profit. Sounds to me like you might be a YoBit 'pump n dump' guy that got burned by your own greed. Whoever bought up your coins will make out like a bandit! SCHWAAAAANG! You are my 'Hero'.

Send VladVlad my way as well. I have a line on some great Florida land he might want to spend his ill-gotten booty on. Ya know it's got to be illegal if he needs a third party (You) to make the trades.

I hope we can keep personal intrigues out of the thread, it doesn't belong here really.

Thanks for constructive feedbacks and action though. Let's keep focus on development  Wink

Agreed, which is why I chose the high road. Still very impressed by how quickly these devs made code changes so the wallet preforms flawless.

Super job Guys!!  Thanks.

Ok, I have also made a withdraw from cryptopia to my wallet (1.22 FLY) and it worked flawlessly. Still 0 confirmations after 6 minutes.

Would that 1.22 stake? Do I need to setup any options in order for it to begin staking?

Thanks!

You need to do nothing Bro. I helped you setup your wallet so just leave everything in your MAIN address, unlock it for staking, and when your coins mature.....BINGO!

Now wasn't that easy! Shoot for that 100 FLY mark so you get to enjoy SuperFLY in action.

Hi Guys,

I just installed the new Vault for CBX & I must ask....did I do something wrong? I have a white/blue/lime green color scheme. I didn't see any 'theme' pulldown to change it. Are these the new colors? If so, please bring back the 'Classic Black'. I'm not saying it's ugly...just not what I envisioned for CBX.

Thank You,

CapnBDL
      Cool

EDIT; NO...I lied! It is FUGLY! I thought a Classic Black with Silver n Gold would have been a much better fit for CryptoBullion! There...I said what I really think of it.

EDIT2; AND..just discovered, The problem with allowing 'min2tray' (stuck) still exists in this Vault. (Win10-64)
Hello,
I am sorry that you think wallet is uggly, many people told it was better like that.  We will try to implement a theme select.

Yes i did not work on the bug of min2tray because i can't reproduce it and i don't have enough of information. Can you reproduce it tand then send me the log file ? You find it there : %appdata% > CryptoBullion > debug.log.

Then i can analyze the issue and try to solve it.

Also, don't hesitate to PM if you have any suggestion or questions

No problem, I'd be happy to send you my debug.log file. I hope you figure out why it doesn't re-open, as I really prefer to do the min2tray vs. taskbar. Other than that problem, the functionality is great. You guy did a good job in that department. <applause here> Not sure why your smartass partner gave me the answer he did, but that comment follows.

Yeah I kind of agree.... Something was lost in translation.   And
Stainless steel is not a precious metal

Yea yea, and thank you to the development team for putting in the selfless work to develop and evolve CBX into a potentially leading crypto currency/commodity. Thank you for the hours spent coding, spending out of own pocket cash on advertising, and keeping the dream alive.
Oh and thank you for a great looking client with great functionality. Not to mention the PoSP algorithm which will have took many hours to code and test.

There.... I said what I really think

Edit: if you don't want 'min to tray' don't select it in the menu, simple

HEY....Whatever you have stuck in your shorts dude...ya need to remove it and take that attitude with it! If ya can't take the heat..get the hell outa the kitchen!! You missed the boat with these colors!! PERIOD. When I think of CryptoBullion, I think of shiny Silver & Gold with a elliquent Classic Black backround you would find on a jewelry or coin store cloth. NOT some freaky lime-green and faded blue-jean colors.

I WILL apologize  for not commenting of the wallet functions, however, but that was due to the shock I got when it first opened. Other than the min2tray problem you so rudely commented on, the wallet function is great (see above comment).

Thanks for the hard work put in on Vault2.0.0.0.

I think the idea with the legendary10 is great, but the timing is bad, because people hardly buys now BTC when the price is double compared with the rest of the 2015 year.

You can change the rules so you, members of DMD foundation, can also bid on the legendary10 addresses. I don't see why you can't have an asset like this if you badly want it Smiley

I happen to agree with your first statement in that a large amount of people (myself included) have already spent our limits for the Holiday Season. And with the falling index pricing on diamonds this year...well, are these prices realistic?

I am, somewhat, divided about your comment of allowing Members to bid. Upon deliberation, I think I like the rules, as are. No bidding for Foundation Members.

Just my 2 cents.

CapnBDL
      Cool

I disagree - Since foundation members are also holding diamonds - they should also be able to bid like anyone else.  I vote yes for foundation members to bid on the auction.  I agree with Bogdan - just bad timing with Christmas close at hand.  I personally do not have additional discretionary funds at this moment.  Also, the bid should be open and let the market determine the value.  A starting bid at 2.6 BTC for me is too steep atm.

Open Bid? OK....I LIKE THAT! As for the Member bid issue. Either way, I am open to the venture.

Thanks for the 'open bid' idea...I don't think the Foundation will buy into it tho.

Soo....why is it unconfirmed? It's just sitting there? Doesn't help me tho.

Hello,

I am very late to jump onboard with DMD, but I managed to grab a few with the little I have to work with. I have everything set, and trying to stake. Explain why the wallet says I am staking but will be waiting for 271 days? And, it is all synced, etc. Wow...long time to go for me. LOL

WOW....trying to find some REASONABLE priced CBX. There is none to be had and what is out there isn't in great quantity. I sure wish I'd have started sooner on collecting CBX. Not having the greatest of luck mining the last before POsP either. So, I guess the little I have will have to suffice. Just wondering if there is a 'RichList' anywhere?

Thanks Much,

It's pretty simple... kano has repeatedly pointed out why SPV mining is bad for Bitcoin.  I won't rehash those points, you can dig through multiple posts to find both sides of the argument.  Well, kano started a thread about it and posted some BTC addresses and IP addresses that have been "dead mining" on his pool.  Apparently they were f2pool, and macbook-air took exception to that information being posted.

Still 'hashing' over petty bullshite. I'm not gonna bother with reading about it any further. Thanks for the explanation.

OK, seems that may have done the trick. Another problem I've noticed is that if I minimize to the tray.... I can't seem to ever get the main wallet window back even if I do Show/Hide...

I am having this same problem, it's not the window position. I have minimize on close checked. It works fine if you minimize it and have minimize to tray and not taskbar unchecked. But if you close it, once it is gone from the taskbar you can't get it to come back without closing it fully and restarting it, show/hide doesn't work. I'm on Windows 10 x64.

Ditto! It's stuck in the tray.  Huh  Right now I have to minimize it to the taskbar in order to get it to reopen. I thought it was just me.   Roll Eyes
