As the level of Bitcoin adoption gets bigger and better, in a short time from now Bitcoin is going to be accepted for payment for tickets and another airport terminal payment. Simón Bolívar Airport which is an international airport in Venezuela is working on modalities to start accepting Bitcoin.
The main potential for Bitcoin in Venezuelan people is the cashless transactions economy and this has a huge coverage...ranging from airport fees, airline tickets, bus fares, taxi charges and many, many more in the transportation and tourism sectors alone. Such a big market is now being opened for Bitcoin all because it is official recognized by the state. I am really hoping that Bitcoin can have a successful run in Venezuela especially in its first two years of implementation so other countries can also be enticed to do the same.
