2101  Economy / Speculation / Re: I have been hodling for 900 days on: June 13, 2016, 08:48:15 AM
I made my first bitcoin purchase exactly 900 days ago @ 648$ / BTC.

Man this has been a great ride..  Grin
Congrats to all the other bagholders that did not give up early !

My mate is/was in your shoes also.

I suspect that he will have finally dumped with a great big sigh of relief.

Have to say that bitcoin has not disappointed for all those years! Tongue After all those years of butt clenching in front of a computer, they can finally take a dump and soundly go to sleep!

Seriously though, I don't think we've seen the top just yet.
2102  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will there be a small correction in price of BTC? or buy now? on: June 13, 2016, 08:46:57 AM
What is everyone's opinion? Do you think this is a good time for people to put fiat in right now, or should they wait for a price correction - and if a price correction, what would that price be?

Well, I personally believe that the price of BTC will have to correct itself before it can go up any further, because right now the price is going up like crazy. Sometimes $50 an hour even.

I could be wrong and the bullishness just takes over completely... But unlikely.
2103  Economy / Speculation / Re: Over 700$ in China now. The West is following soon. on: June 13, 2016, 08:44:18 AM
Remember guys that there are loads of people who bought at $600+ in 2014 who have been holding waiting for the price to go back up. Some of them will sell, just saying...

......Or most of them will be relieved to break even & now be looking forward to seeing profit in the future. Who the hell waits 2 years to just break even Grin

Well, it's not so bad if you think about it. They've made $90 profit so far on every coin that they bought back in 2014, and it's not bad. It's actually better than bank interest if you had deposited your money for the same period of time.

Definitely a huge soar of price right now though, might be an adjustment coming soon.
2104  Economy / Speculation / Re: Hold onto your balls gentlemen , the halvening is coming! ;) on: June 13, 2016, 08:26:54 AM

Definitely. The halving is happening in a few weeks time and it's already pushing the price of BTC up by a lot. I hope though that the price can stay up, and there is no huge dump after the event.

Hold onto your testicles gentlemen! Squeeze them hard to make sure you get every last drop of BTCTC! Wink
2105  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I lost 700 mbtc on gambling on: June 13, 2016, 08:24:50 AM
Obviously you cannot keep winning in the long run. So these losses really aren't that unexpected in my opinion. However, if you feel sad that you've lost that much, next time just gamble what you can afford to lose.

0.7 BTC is quite a bit of money, but it could be worse.
2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: TRICKS ON HOW TO WIN on dice games on: June 13, 2016, 08:23:28 AM
All tricks and co called strategies have their time. These things which are illusion more and less tricks let you in great losses. After some period when player is satisfied and begins to believe that it will work always. Then begins to play fearlessly and ended up with looses.Actually be careful with anything to try to win.All works till some certain point.

All tricks/strategies only work in the short term. In fact, you can even lose in the short term as well. There is no guarantee that you'll ever win with a strategy. It's like martingale, everyone knows it but nobody really uses it.

But setting a target balance could be helpful for you to keep your greed down.
2107  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you want to see in Bitcoin casinos? on: June 13, 2016, 08:22:02 AM
I would love to see faster rolls and cleaner interfaces. Right now the majority of the casinos don't give you fast rolls, like FastDice does. If they do I think they'll attract a lot more customers who like to bot.

Perhaps a suspense mode where the roll number is revealed in a very suspenseful way as well?
2108  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling. Is It Wrong? on: June 13, 2016, 08:20:53 AM
Gambling at the first place is not wrong at all its just that you do not have to gamble for the money because that is of course very wrong if you ask me.
I think the bitcoin has a very good future a head this year.

Yeah, definitely. I think that gambling itself is not wrong, if you choose to become addicted to it though, it is wrong as it is now becoming a part of your life when it's not supposed to be that.

If you need the money you gamble, then it's wrong. If you can afford to lose that money, then it's not wrong.
2109  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Did gambling get you into Bitcoin or did Bitcoin get you into gambling? on: June 13, 2016, 08:16:50 AM
I am just curios how it started for you....

Did gambling get you into Bitcoin? Or did Bitcoin get you into gambling?

I think both, I think my addiction of gambling initially brought me to bitcoin, but then because I knew bitcoin and I knew that bitcoin was a good way to gamble with as it was anonymous and instant, i started gambling more.

But now I gamble much more responsibly. I only gamble for fun.
2110  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: is gambling fix your life? or wreck your life? on: June 13, 2016, 06:51:01 AM
Gambling is disastrous for majority of people. There are very little number of people who made some money and fixed their life by gambling.I am neutral and have not been effected by gambling but many people around me have wrecked their lives.I am playing small bets sometimes win sometimes loose this is going.

There are irresponsible gamblers who have lost their life savings on gambling, however, any sensible person that has regards to their own mental health will understand when to stop and when not to gamble.

Gambling has been pretty good to me, I am in around neutral profit despite the house edge.
2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How long do you play per day gambling like Dice ? on: June 13, 2016, 06:48:58 AM
I used to play a lot like 1-2 hours a day at primedice but i got bored. Dice gambling makes you lose in the end anyways, you don't have a slightest chance to win if you play long time like me.

Nowadays i just check my luck once in a week or month then i never play again.

Yeah definitely, sometimes you get really bored with playing dice because you usually lose and you have to use the faucet, and there is nobody around to chat to and nobody is handing out tips.

But if someone is handing out tips, then it's a different thing. I usually spend around 1-2 hours a day checking PD.
2112  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How is bitcoin most important to you? on: June 12, 2016, 11:01:23 AM
Bitcoin is important because I've dedicated so much money, time, and effort in my life for bitcoin.

It has become a part of me now. It's kind of hard now to live (for me) without bitcoins because I've invested so much. Although, I still value my friends and families over bitcoin because bitcoins are kind of categorized in 'material things' although not physically a material.

definitely. Sometimes you feel attached to something simply because you have devoted a lot of time into it. For me, I have as well and that's partially the reason bitcoin is important to me. It's also because it's such a great currency to own.

I believe in the future of BTC, and that's why it's important to me.
2113  Other / Off-topic / Re: If i give you 10 BTC what will you do? on: June 12, 2016, 11:00:36 AM
if you give 10 BTC, then i would use it for buy hardware to mining ETH, Litecoin maybe 2 BTC, for trading maybe 2-3 BTC, for backup funds 5 BTC.

Well, I don't think that investing in mining especially with altcoins is a very smart idea at all. Simply because their prices are way too volatile for your mining scheme to work at all.

I would just invest it in something that I believe in, that would profit me a lot. And I mean a lot.
2114  Other / Archival / Re: . on: June 12, 2016, 10:59:38 AM
What is the best way to earn Bitcoin? Are faucets worthwhile or is there an easier way? How much can I expect to earn?

faucets are definitely not worthwhile. There are thousands of faucets out there waiting for you to click them, so it basically means that your time is worth more than the reward they offer you.

I think the best way for a newbie to earn coins is by completing tasks and surveys on sites like bitcoinget.
2115  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Theymos: “Bitcoins Belonging to Satoshi Should Be Destroyed” on: June 12, 2016, 10:58:48 AM
i feel like the coins are already destroyed. its not satoshi is gonna show up any time soon. for all we know hes already dead. really though he hasnt shown himself in the last couple of years. he couldve said something anonymously.

Well, why do we need satoshi to do anything?

If he's dead, great, because we don't need to worry about his coins anymore. However, this is probably not the case right now. He is probably just hiding under an alt account lurking on the forum.
2116  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I never spent any savings on Bitcoin and I'm not broke on: June 12, 2016, 10:57:26 AM
If I had invested my savings in Bitcoin would it be more likely to be broke? Cheesy

You're only getting the impression that you're not broke, however, I think you're secretly broke. Because fiat currencies depreciate over time a lot and they are no good measurement for wealth.

I think you'd be 1000x richer with BTC than fiat in 10 years time.
2117  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What to do with 1,5 BTC? on: June 12, 2016, 10:56:37 AM
well its your choice , you  can reinvest  in your services to get more profit, you can go for mining, you can buy some altcoins or evn you can go for gambling on your own risk and you can have fun, buy some things you really like or keep in your wallet for the increment of the price:)

Yeah, I think the most important thing is to not go for ponzi schemes. Do not waste any of your money on ponzi schemes, because they will scam you in the end no matter what. No chance you will get your money back from them.

If it sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
2118  Economy / Speculation / Re: A lot of salty people right now on: June 12, 2016, 10:55:52 AM
All those FUDsters that like to gather on this subforum saying we would never reach 400, then 500, then 600... they keep getting proven wrong, they stay poor while we become rich

#winningteam
Yep, doesn't matter what they think of bitcoin, as long as we're rich, I don't really give a shit lol.

They are salty because they didn't get into the bitcoin market earlier. And rightly so. They should have listened to us and be smart like us. Look where we're at now, $640. And halving isn't even here.
2119  Economy / Speculation / Re: Btc about to break $10 billion market cap on: June 12, 2016, 10:54:52 AM
After a loooong time, we are about to enter the 11-figure market cap again. Pretty cool, huh? Wink

Definitely very exciting to see bitcoin going strong again. I think once we break that final frontier bitcoin will get the mass adoption we always wanted. Something that has potential will realise its potential.

When that happens is just a matter of time Cheesy
2120  Economy / Speculation / Re: $500 Within 2 Months? on: June 12, 2016, 10:49:50 AM
Am I the only one that think bitcoin will reach $500 within the next two months?

I think we're all with you, man. The market's really bullish at the moment and I think it's going to hit new highs for the year. $500 has already been hit but really, we should be aiming for more.

I think in 2 months the price will probably be at around $700 though.
