2101  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Increasing Supply Limit. on: January 23, 2018, 08:00:04 AM
So basically, the maximum 21M supply will never be changed when the first block was mined.
Correct.
You can. As long as you modify the code to increase the block reward and people run it, you would have effectively increased the total possible coin in circulation. The change can only be for those running your modified client.

It wouldn't be considered Bitcoin anymore though, since the coin cap violates one of the few goals that Bitcoin is trying to achieve.
You can but no one will take those modified and increased supply coin, just like those forked coins.
2102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you send your Bitcoin to the Sportsbooks? on: January 23, 2018, 07:46:14 AM
I never use coinbase so I do not know such a thing, there are lots of wallet options there, why do not you use them? Yes using poloniex exchange is also good I guess with low fees, it can save you expenses.
I never used it either but the simplest way of making this possible is just use blockchain.info like this way;
Coinbase --> blockchain.info --> sports book -->blockchain.info --> coinbase. You can even adjust the fee although just stick to the recommended one.

you should look for sites that do not need a withdrawal fee to make transactions.
There's none but if there's one of it, name it.
2103  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: HitBTC is a scam on: January 23, 2018, 07:26:57 AM
Hitbtc also mentioned that it might take more time since their network is clogged up huge amounts of tickets and if you keep sending more tickets, it would only take even more time for you to get your ticket answered.
While that makes sense to a certain extent, it's also a much used excuse to cover up their shitty support department. It's not that anything will change if they aren't willing to invest in more capable staff members.

Seriously, how long are people going to accept that what you mentioned about that more incoming tickets will cause more clutter in their system? A few weeks to a month is fine, but it has taken too long now.

They have had enough time to add more members to their staff department, but looking at their constantly slower responses, it doesn't look like things are changing for the better, or do they? Angry
They aren't willing to invest either for upgrading their system. Valid excuse or just a cover up they should addressed the customers with something better and give an assurance that after that "time" given by customers who are trusting them will benefit that wait.
I hope they will not be the same as yobit right now or be called as yobit v2.0.
2104  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WILL LITECOIN RAISES TO 1000$ THIS DEC on: January 23, 2018, 07:10:48 AM
IS THERE ANY CHANCES FOR LITE COIN TO RAISE UPTO 1000$ IN 2018..?
There's a chance, it's developer Charlie Lee is very transparent on the updates he's doing with Litecoin. ETH reached unexpectedly $1,000 before the end of 2017 and the same thing goes to Litecoin for this year although it will be a long way for it since it's current price is only $170.

2106  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2018 NBA Season on: January 23, 2018, 05:46:22 AM
Great game between the Clippers and the Twolves today, a possible match up in the playoffs, probably round one.
I believe the Clippers had already found a good combination of their players to win games, lots of injured players but they are doing well so far.
Today, it's the Clippers who are the favorites that is why I bet on them, hope they'll win.
Timberwolves is on the lead but the game still has 2 minutes left.. Can't wait on how they will finish the game.
2107  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Investments in the real sector on: January 23, 2018, 05:25:07 AM
You are looking for investors? A newbie that's posting about a certain project that there's no valid proof that he's part of a craft brewery company. And asking for a total amount of $400,000 in cryptocurrency and promises an annual profit of $1,100,000. Seriously man where are you getting your nerve to say this? Post everything that we need to know, all of what you are saying are shady.
I wanted to send a business project, personal data, scanned copies of the passport, those who will write by e-mail. Forgive me, I will continue the topic when I prepare the information for general review.
There's no assurance that those papers belongs to your company, you might just picked it somewhere or you bought those. What I'm asking for is that you will be transparent and you asked that much when you aren't prepared yet so what people will think is basically you are not so serious with such projects and only wants to ask money.

2111  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Oscar Awards 2018 Betting on: January 22, 2018, 10:47:51 AM
I'm into Oscars nor a fan of it.

It says
"NO GAMES OPEN FOR BETTING

Do you have an idea on when it will open as Oscars will be on March 4?
2112  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Selling domains for crypto purposes on: January 22, 2018, 09:40:35 AM
Can I create a thread after I have made this topic?
You can just move this topic to this section Digital Goods, look below at the left side there's Move Topic.
2113  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Are Exchanges becoming too unstable ? on: January 22, 2018, 09:15:12 AM
Too many users, that's the real problem. they can't cope with so many people at a time wanting to trade their assets.
They never expected that crypto's will boom this way and they are starting to experience that problem. And there's no one that can name an exchange here that has been reliable at this moment.

Please, tell me, how the fuck is using Kraken? This exchange is quite old, no one is using this one any more, and it has scammed a lot of people during the last two months.
Quote
Kraken used to be absolutely horrible, you kept getting a 520 error and you kept having to enter trades over and over and hope you didn't get the dreaded red line showing an error.
No offense, but it is full of good exchanges right now, like Kucoin, IDEX, and a few more others who are newbie exchanges, but they are trying to gain a lot of trust in order to be a giant ones.

And binance is working fine too.

But that's a fact that there are traders who are still using kraken.
2114  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: THE TRUTH ABOUT PROVABLY FAIR. 18 MONTH CASE STUDY on: January 22, 2018, 08:58:21 AM
Interesting case study, you did took 18 months for this. I'll be putting this thread on my watchlist so that I can take a look at your final published data and as well as other comments regarding your study including calculations and other Mathematical solutions about provably fair on the chosen subject.

Anyway, for now this is just a text including no solid information.Waiting for your Case Study reports.
Yep nothing has been given solidly with his plain texts.

Correct.
2116  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net is a scam ? on: January 22, 2018, 08:01:34 AM
Yes they are thieves 10 BTC in my case.   Angry   Cry
That's a lot of bitcoin. Have you recovered it or it's still on their exchange?

same as bittrex!. It surely is. just stay away from yobit almost all wallets are stuck and your coins will be there forever
They are starting to become crowded so they can't cater thousands of users within the day.

I bought ecash on YoBit using some of my Bitcoin but my balance is wrong by a large amount.
The order history is correct but the balance is wrong. I'ts been 4 days and still no response from support  Cry
Try to send them a ticket about it.

I've created 5 tickets already Sad.
I looked at my Yobit Codes transaction (not knowing what it was at the time) and there is an entry for a transaction that was not authorized by me.
  • I have two factor auth enabled.
  • My coins were transferred out of my wallet using a Yobi Code. There's no way my account was hacked.
  • I have "Send letter at entering the system" enabled.
  • I've looked at my login history on Google - and there are no suspicious logins.
Not authorized by you? Looks like your account was compromised.

Can you post in the chat for me to see if he will reply I'll message him but seeing as I can't even submit support tickets it just gives me an error message.

On another note does anybody know why a withdrawal would have issues and not generate a txid?
Withdrawals there doesn't generate TXID, it will only generate TXID if they are confirmed by their system and they already let go of the funds for that particular wallet/coin. And chatting their needs you to have at least 0.02 BTC.
2117  Economy / Goods / Re: Have you been buying goods with cryptocurrency? If so, where? on: January 22, 2018, 07:46:05 AM
Bought not only goods but mostly with digital goods especially those steam games. All transactions I made was P2P and there's no escrow needed since I knew those people that I transacted, they agree to send first and it's outside of the forum.
Can't you pay with BTC on Purse.io ?I think it's the same as amazon.
You need to understand https://purse.io/how-it-works
2118  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had $50, what would you invest in? on: January 22, 2018, 07:22:10 AM
Puh.. dont know.. i think it would use 50$ just for a Gamble.
Taking alot of Risk for a possible Amazing Profit, so seek for a undervalued Coin who has a bright Future.

I dont think you find that Coin in top 20 or something
Choosing coins that are listed on the top 20 is even reliable than looking for an undervalued coin. But I'm not against on investing to that one, there are coins that started to pumped quickly. There are coins on top 20 that are undervalued and that makes that top 20 coins are good to invest with that $50. As for those very undervalued coin, make sure that there are volume of trades so you can take profit.
2119  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum or Bitcoin? on: January 18, 2018, 04:50:30 PM
I'll choose both, no need to take too much reasons. Choosing 1. and 2. coins in the coinmarketcap gives you an idea that you didn't invested to a shitcoin.
