After the halving? Before the halving which is this year, we might see the market shall rise a bit. And for 2020, we'll see total increase and the market can turn to bull for sure. If something positive happens, then in 2020, and this year the maximum we can count on is at least some semblance of stability before the start of a good price increase Yes, if the market improves by that time. I'll start to sell or probably going cash out what I can. And will wait for the market to correct again and will start buying. |

One prediction of mine is we will see the market to stand up again.
Not that high but it will show on how it's good before.
And this year has just started, we're going to 1st quarter next month.

Patience is all we need. The mass adoption is inevitable as well as a growth. I don't expect the bulls until 2020, so the main goal now is to save the deposit. It can sound easy and even silly, but sometimes doing nothing and just waiting are the most difficult things for human's nature.

ETF, Bakkt and other stuffs that everyone has been thinking ignore it.
We will see the market in bull again after this bear's out.
Agree with that, adoptions will play the big part for continuously green market to happen, we need more people to trust this system and make the entire industry being accepted by most countries around the world, good things will be expected after adoptions happen. Things like ETF, BAKKT and the next halving is just an old ways to create pump and will repeat the cycle again, unlike adoptions where everything will be in it's continuously progress. The halving is the biggest thing that I'm hoping for. It will definitely give the market another hope for its recovery. It won't be pump anymore but a usual adoption and basic economics. |

Move on, 2018 will be 2018 and 2017 will always be 2017. We're now on 2019 and this year is another one year. 2nd month of the year and still nothing happened. That's alright, still we are in the 2nd month and we are still in the first week. There is no race here, we need some good momentum and we do not need a whole year to come back. It's a waiting game, but only for those who believe that there is a recovery, for those who don't they should jump ship now. February and Chinese new year's gone, what are we going to expect now? Right, no race here but people seems to look at the daily increase. Daily downs and ups and we can't stop them for having that kind of basis. |

I also agree with your thoughts. maybe now bitcoin is in a bad state. the price continues to fall, there is even a possibility that it will decline again. but I don't think bitcoin will collapse and will be taken over by altcoin. bitcoin will still be a bright future. It isn't actually in the bad state. bitcoin is going through a correction and its normal. Bitcoin will never collapse trust those words, bitcoin rocks! yes we should always think positive all the times because that can help us to be more motivated in terms of hardship . by the way , the title says future of altcoin so we should talk about altcoins here not btc and we are also in the altcoin section  . they say future of altcoin depend on bitcoin because alts value always follow btc value . id say not all times , there are alts that are independent . if people buy it and they get more demand . they can rise no matter what is the price of btc . future of altcoin will depend on how good it was . Other members here are giving up and thinks of something bad about bitcoin. It is influencing the price of altcoins but don't give up. Yes. Most of cryptocurrencies price depends on Bitcoin, although its mostly in terms of fiat. Satoshi value tends to be same.
All crypto's depend to bitcoin's price. This is a domino effect that others can't accept. Bitcoin's price will increase in due time and alts will do too. |
