The nature of this situation is a bit confusing and I can assure you that are not trying to treat you unfairly. I sympathize with your argument, although, it is not all that uncommon for teams to switch names or sub players during an eSports tournament. We are working to be more transparent with our rules for these situations and we really appreciate your feedback.

Indeed, i agree that the situation is weird. And i am not going to pretend that my argument is 100% correct and i cannot be wrong here. I can definately see where you are coming from, its just in the end i feel that my side is a little bit stronger when you look at it objectively.
I am fully aware that in Dota teams very often show up with a lot of standins, and i always swallow the loss and never complain, its a part of the variance that i am prepared for. When its trully the same team was playing. although, it is not all that uncommon for teams to switch names or sub players during an eSports tournament.
Thats exactly my point, if i would see anywhere that team Slayer no longer exists, disbands, renames or rebrands to "Infuse" i would have no issues with this, i would be like "yep, i should've been more careful"
But its not what happened. Basically i did bet on team X and team Y showed up that KIND of looks like X (2 out of 5 players played there), but there is no info anywhere that team X=Y now.
So i hope you understand where i am coming from - what if ZERO players from Slayers played in team Infusion? Would it still be graded then? I feel like there is very minor difference with 0 or just 2 players being there.
I believe in the end that Slayers were never meant to play in this tournament, and it was a mistake during a line making proccess
But i am also pretty realistic about my chances of changing your ruling in such cases (close to 0%)I agree with you Magic, and in most cases there are more formal announcements following a team disband or re-brand. In this situation, our team concluded that Slayers was in the midst of a transition and changed their name and line up shortly before the start of the match. Slayers' captain and another teammate remained, and played out the match as scheduled. There is still no formal announcement about the switch and some websites, including Liquidpedia, still have Slayers of Gods listed as playing Elite Wolves later today. Our lines now reflect the team switch and we have introduced a rule to improve the transparency of our eSports grading (See rule 8 under the eSports tab). Hello.
Using a nitrogen for like 3 years and most of the time my experience with the support was very pleasant (and still is).
However, after betting on the certain e-sport match and having it graded instead of canceled i engaged in a discussion with the support, and i dont quite feel that their ruling was justified. I am going to describe the situation here, perphaps having other customers review it and chip in would be useful :
The bet was : Team DC vs Team Slayers (i did bet on Slayers)
The match that occured : Team DC vs Team Infusion
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My opinion : Slayers and Infusion are two different teams, and its unfair to grade the bet
Arguments:
1) Team Slayers did not announce a disband, rebrand, or a rename to team Infusion on any internet source
2) Team Slayers have a very different roster compared to Infsuion (only 2 players out of 5 from Slayers played in the 'Infusion')
3) Sites as Joindota, Gosugamers, and Dotabuff threat them as 2 different teams
4) If the similiar situation occured in the "real" sport (f.e. NBA) - i believe the line would never be graded. Imagine that you did bet on Warriors vs Lakers, but instead of Warriors some team named "Tomatoes" with 2 players from Warriors and 3 randoms showed up and played instead. Would it be fair to grade the line normally?

NitroGen's opinion : Slayers are Infusion are the same team
Arguments:
1) Times of the matches are identical
2) Team Infusion has 2 players from team Slayers
3) Some sites like Esports Live Scores and some YouTube channel threat them as a same team
4) If it would be 2 separate teams, the team DC would've played team Slayers later in the tournament( ? - i really disagree here. This point only comes close to making sense if the line itself is ALWAYS correct. Like if there is absolutely 0% chance that there is a line with the incorrect matchup appear ever, which is obviosly false)

Overall, i feel like my arguments make a little more sense and that i am being somewhat angled here.

I'd like to note: Very fast email response to Nitro when I sent them a "Can't login" email - 11 minutes from my sending the email to my getting a response.
so what is the response? if u won't mind share The cs rep didn't know what caused the problem and is looking into it and the it people will look at it tomorrow. I was still pleased to get a quick response and to know someone there is trying to resolve it. It seems to me that whatever issue I had resolved itself, at least for the time being. How does the lucky 7 streak work for the jackpot? I understand that you need to hit a certain amount of 7's but does this streak expire if you don't hit a 7 in a number of bets or a fixed time?
AFAIK you need to roll number that got 7 in it like 17.92 or 17.17 but there is a minimal 0.001 base bet and double 7's in number will count as 1, if you can get the streak it will sure hit jackpot and after it will re roll again from the start, that is what I know but it seems the jackpot prize is still 1 btc so there is only few people do the rolls  Btw congratz on Boxxob for hitting 10mil. If you roll a number that does not have a 7 in it, the jackpot will reset to zero.
