2121  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] ChipMixer.com - Bitcoin mixer / Bitcoin tumbler - mixing reinvented on: March 23, 2023, 01:00:50 PM
any updates?
update about what? ChipMixer was seized by US gov, They didn't decide to stop voluntarily so all the updates you may hear is has the owner been arrested or not? And what will happen to people who used or advertised the service?
2122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which cryptocurrency will lead the currency market in near 5 years? on: March 23, 2023, 12:39:55 PM
Market capacity is a misleading criterion in which a stablecoin can reach a market capacity higher than the price of Bitcoin over the next 5 or 10 years. Therefore, it cannot be relied upon to measure whether this currency is a good investment or not, and we have what happened to the Silicon Valley through it, as 42 billion disappeared within minutes, just as it happened with Luna.

As for altcoins, I do not expect any of them to exceed Bitcoin.
2123  Economy / Exchanges / Re: To OKX Canadian users on: March 23, 2023, 12:10:32 PM
I do not the exact reason, but I know OKX was not able to comply with one or some of the commitments above.
Today I decided to log in to my account, and after using that aacount for more than two years, KYC was requested and I was prevented me from making any withdrawals until after completing identity verification. The required information is name, nationality, card or passport data without you sending pictures to them.
I filled in random data and the account came back with the same old withdrawal limits but it is a sign that something is going on with this platform and therefore it is not just about users from Canada.
2124  Other / Archival / Re: [History] Censorship on bitcointalk on: March 23, 2023, 12:04:05 PM
The difference in control over mods is due to the fact that they are human beings and each individual has his own way of managing, the most prominent example of this is @frodocooper, who was very strict, I remember that he used to lock posts and modify them, and you rarely find a topic that has not been modified[1].

This is @theymos reply

I restored the four deleted topics, but since they were all very similar, I locked all but one of them.

Except for a few special cases, it should not be policy for subjects to be confined to megathreads. It's OK for there to be overlap between multiple active threads. If a board seems to become monopolized by similar-looking topics, then some lockings or perhaps deletions might be warranted, but Hardware is low-volume.

The example you mentioned is normal compered to @frodocooper. It is from June 05, 2011, 01:31:45 AM, and at that time @theymos was not even the administrator of this site.

Quote
It's surprising how well-documented history can become totally forgotten... Satoshi created the forum on Nov 22, 2009, and was head administrator until almost 2011. Then Sirius was head administrator until 2012, which is when I took over.

2125  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Sheepy - new cryptocurrency payment gateway on: March 22, 2023, 12:00:25 PM
We are offering a cutting-edge platform that enables to start accepting crypto payments as they were meant to be - global and frictionless.

I think that you need to redefine the word global because, based on the posts above, about a third of the countries in the world are banned from using your payment service, which is something against the nature of cryptocurrencies available to all countries of the world

Quote
you confirm that your business is not under the control of a national or resident of any country where crypto assets transactions are explicitly prohibited or the United States of America (including all USA territories like Puerto Rico, American Samoa, Guam, Northern Mariana Island, and the US Virgin Islands).

Quote
You confirm that you are not a national or resident of the following prohibited jurisdictions: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bolivia, Cambodia, Central African Republic, Egypt, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mali, Mauritania, Morocco, Nepal, Nigeria, North Korea, Oman, Pakistan, Palestinian Territory, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Yemen. We maintain the right to restrict or refuse its services in these jurisdictions.
So, as a store owner, I have lost large numbers of users as a result of using your service to process crypto payments, so what will I benefit from?

2126  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Deflation in signature campaigns on: March 22, 2023, 11:18:05 AM
It depends on your country, do you have a main job, and the amount of exchange in your country compared to the quality of your posts and the time you spend on the forum.

If the forum is just a bonus to get bitcoin and share your knowledge, then there is no difference. For example, I was in CM campaign for two years, and now I am in Best_change for two years. The second campaign pays a third of the amount of the first campaign, but the price of the bitcoin increased during this same period, which made the money I collected from CM during the first two years is equivalent to 3 times the current CM payment or 6 time of best_change, and so on.

So if you have a job that covers the basics and luxuries, creating an alt account in order to get $ 100 a week is a waste of time.
2127  Economy / Exchanges / Re: To OKX Canadian users on: March 22, 2023, 11:00:11 AM
This is a very bad news, I've used them since Binance added KYC verification and they seem to be heading in the same direction especially since it's been several months since KYC starts and it becomes public for all accounts.

The good side for other countries is that you have about 3 months left, and the bad side is that you must now look for an alternative platform in anticipation of anything.
Does anyone know if this is due to a law in Canada that bans all platforms, or is it related to unregistered platforms, or do they need a Canadian copy like Binance.US
2128  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Why Blockchair.com always proof captcha? on: March 22, 2023, 10:40:08 AM
I have been using it as my main bitcoin block explorer for about two years, and I do not remember that the site asked me to solve captcha.

Perhaps the times that captcha appeared to me here are more than the times that appeared to me with that explorer (which is zero times)
So why not use their Chrome extension ----> https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/blockchair/fhhkkooikehnkaodebbfnkinedlllcfk  as that might solve the problem although I think the reason that appears to u is because you are using a spammy proxy.
2129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Any problems with *CHIPMIXER* coins? on: March 22, 2023, 10:21:36 AM
I see a lot of people have suggested solutions like:

 - Use P2P/DEXs or that do not require KYC.
 - Create multiple transactions before you send them.

All of them are solutions that may succeed in making you withdraw your money, but if a deep analysis is done in the future, you may fall into a problem because the transaction history is preserved and the platform has your central data.
and using P2P mean you move that problem to another user.
2130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could there be any importance and need for some kind of mild regulations? on: March 22, 2023, 10:04:03 AM
When we talk about money, the decentralized nature of money is what is required, given that it is something that you obtained with your effort, and therefore another party controlling how you spend that money is something that is not required, just as the money’s enjoyment of a degree of secrecy is what makes that money equal, otherwise the value would differ, for example, the money that comes From the doctor, from the black market, and from selling drugs, it must be the same in terms of value, so that the money coming from the doctor is not of the highest value just because it came from a doctor.

So the decentralization of money and its privacy is important in principle.
2131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many BTC needed for retirement in 10 years? on: March 22, 2023, 09:26:23 AM
I think 10 BTC and 100 ETH would set you up for good, so once that is reached, I would stop accumulating, what is your plan?
If you intend to invest about 300K USD, it is better to ask an expert for 500 dollars instead of a multinational forum.
In general, the amount is considered relatively large for the majority, and therefore it is a good long-term investment if you do not intend to use that money until after 20 years or more.
As for the return, where are you? and can you get a higher return through other investments or not? If that money is surplus to you and you are not afraid of losing it, then go a head and HODLING.
2132  Other / Archival / Re: [ANN] [banned mixer] - Best Bitcoin Mixer / Bitcoin Tumbler on: March 22, 2023, 09:17:12 AM

It doesn't matter if it's clearnet or via onion links. Just try to provide the kind of service you promise your clients  Wink
As we have noted over and over again, it is difficult for the average user to hide themselves from governments such as the US government, especially if the government decides to track u.
even if they move to another CDN, it will not work if you want to hide your identity from the government, so think carefully.

The most important thing is to delete logs and ensure that the data is not sold which is bulit on trust or opensource website.
2133  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Social Trading Platforms evaulation on: March 19, 2023, 10:40:40 PM
Each platform differs from other platforms in the mechanism of work and how to choose the best trader. Some of them may ignore hidden fees from them, and some depend on the number of those who copy a file. Others depend on YouTube promotion and other methods. Most importantly, does the best trader mean sure profit? of course not.
2134  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are We Going To See $30,000 Price Before the End of This week on: March 19, 2023, 10:30:33 PM
Personally, I see that we need some correction first before we rise above $30,000, because it is a peak that, if we reach it, it will be difficult for the price to fall lower.
It is true that the momentum is on me, but it has slowed down, and therefore we can rise above 30,000, but without a correction, we will not continue to rise for a long time.
I'd prefer to be below that price for two to three months before healthy growth begins.
2135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Question about Infinite supply altcoins on: March 18, 2023, 09:52:19 AM
AFAIK, Ethereum has an infinite supply and yet it is attractive to investors, so the unlimited supply option is bad for long-term trading for more than 3 years, because with a 99% chance of a price drop, it is more likely.

As for the medium and short term, how:

 - distribution of those coins.
 - Percentage of ownership of the developer team and central platforms.
 - Coin burning rate and who can burn.
 - The mechanism of generating currencies and whether it is limited every period or infinite.
 - The current number of coins.

It is what will determine whether it is a good or bad investment.
2136  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: All in one charting software? on: March 18, 2023, 09:05:42 AM
I never used another software but they seem professional, like mt4, mt5, etc. what are other better then trading view?
So all you are looking for are the basics of Technical Analysis such as the Simple Moving Average (SMA)? If so, I advise you cryptowat.ch[1], and you can see some Basic TA features here[2].

Unfortunately, advanced TA and scripts work well with Tradingview, so if you are a professional in trading, this means that you generate profits, and therefore you can pay the fees. Otherwise, cryptowat.ch is an excellent alternative.

2137  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Guide | Binance Trading Bot using Python on: March 18, 2023, 08:55:09 AM
So the explanation mainly uses this library ----> https://github.com/sammchardy/python-binance
You can write the explanation here, it does not need many details and leave the choice to the user to watch the video.
Overall, thank you for making this video. Unfortunately, Binance needs verification and I stopped using them a while ago.
I will try the Kucoin code.
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin can do 30k$ this month? on: March 18, 2023, 08:42:04 AM
As quickly as I saw the recent highs, I became aware that once we touch any resistance level, breaking it is only a matter of time, no matter how far away that level is.
Therefore, all options are now open, especially since if we reach levels of 30,000 to 40,000 during this year, 100,000 are confirmed during the coming years (the next price cycle)

Just to see how the central platforms fare, which seem to have a lot of eyes now on them.
2139  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Dropshipping - Need sales partner on: March 18, 2023, 07:01:45 AM
The way you wrote the topic is unprofessional, you did not mention a list, you did not put a method of communication, just as the price, delivery time and shipping costs may not make your service desirable and you did not update the topic.
.
Can you please show the link to the shop so that we can check the price of your product and compare it with others? If the price on the shop is lower than eBay/amazon then we may list that on eBay/Amazon and try to sell as dropshipping there. Hope you got the point.
The user has not logged in for several days, and he has not left another way to communicate, so I do not think he can answer your question.
2140  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: SpendHub-New Project under development looking for investors on: March 18, 2023, 06:44:53 AM
What is special about your idea or what makes it special because, as far as I know, there are many de/central markets that provide such services, for example but not limited to bitify.com/

Building a market from scratch is an expensive process, so why not try to find a way to use bitcoin on sites that currently not allow it.
So you had a conversation with Elon Musk? What are you doing here then? You could both bring down amazon together, you don't need us here.😉

This part that he mentioned is Red flag, enough for any investor to avoid talking to him.
