2121  Economy / Speculation / Re: What might the lowest possible price of Bitcoin be? on: January 11, 2015, 01:11:15 PM
This article says enough with all the blind optimism, given current conditions what is the lowest possible price?
http://www.thegreenminute.org/bitcoin.html

i think is very unlikely, but maybe btc can become worthless..so the lowst possibile price is 0
2122  Economy / Speculation / Re: The towel is in the ring. on: January 11, 2015, 11:10:51 AM
Now that the return of Bitstamp has proven not to boost the market in any way, i think its safe to say that even big players now realize it's done and only going down from here.

I think the return if Bitstamp was the only thing that could have boosted the value a little.
Why do people keep talking about 'but the fundamentals dare there', no they are not, that's why we have 200 altcoins that are almost every one of them better than bitcoin in at least one aspect.

Bitcoin has a fail mining approach, PoW.
Bitcoin mining is centralized.
Bitcoin has failed distribution.
Bitcoin has slow confirmations.
Bitcoin development has practically stopped.
Bitcoin blockchain is bulky, its 30gb how much if it would be adopted, impossible to sustain.
Most bitcoin transactions are of criminal nature.

Please tell me why you invest still?

Colored coins? Not going to happen.
Side Chains? Not going to happen.
EFT? Not going to happen.

Enlighten me oh holy permabulls.

maybe, it's ETF...and yes, it's going to happen!

Nell’investimento, nulla è permanente eccetto l’Oro.

2124  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: [SPECULAZIONE] BITCOIN PUMP! on: January 11, 2015, 11:00:30 AM
Non vi sembra strano che il precedente dump si sia fermato quando bitstamp e andato offline ed è ricominciato ora che è tornata online? Al di là del fatto che ora si stanno spostando su atri Exchange.

oddio, questo per me non si può definire dump, dai...

2126  Economy / Gambling / Re: Story about a big win > 5 BTC on a gambling website on: January 10, 2015, 02:20:46 PM
Has anyone ever win huge on a gambling website? Tell me more Grin

How much did you bet? What was the game and which casino/website was it?

It is not to reproduce the lucky win but for my entertainment.

if you make a search on this forum that talks about this. Someone win more than 5btc in one single day, but usually they lose it later Sad

2128  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitstamp is open - now with multisig on: January 10, 2015, 10:49:02 AM
Bitstamp is open, now with multisig. Here's the interesting bit of a message from bitstamp's boss.

https://www.bitstamp.net/article/bitstamp-is-open-for-business-better-than-ever/

What’s new?

Our team has been working day and night to rebuild and restore security to the Bitstamp site so customers can resume transacting with us quickly, safely, and confidently. Bitstamp is now fully operational with a number of key improvements:

Multi-sig
* With the integration of BitGo multi-sig technology, Bitstamp is now the first and only major bitcoin exchange to incorporate the industry's best security practices available today.

Completely new hardware infrastructure
* The Bitstamp systems are running on 100% new hardware deployed from a completely secure backup of our code and data.

Amazon Web Services
* Bitstamp is now running on Amazon’s world-class AWS cloud infrastructure, architected to be one of the most secure and reliable cloud computing environments available.

Commission-free trading
* As a note of thanks to our loyal customers, all transactions conducted on Bitstamp through the end of the North American Bitcoin Conference -- January 17th (at 11:59pm UTC) -- will be commission-free.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this disruption of services. Since 2011, we’ve worked hard to be one of the largest and most trusted bitcoin exchanges in the world. While this is a time of challenge for our company, we expect to emerge from this experience having set an even higher bar than before for trust and confidence in our services.

On a personal note, I’d like to thank the incredible teams at Bitstamp and at our lead investor Pantera Capital who have worked around-the-clock from multiple time zones in the last few days. I’m incredibly proud of the herculean work of this extended team, and grateful to the phenomenal show of support from customers, friends, and partners in the bitcoin community.

We look forward to serving you!

For additional information, please refer to our customer FAQ or contact our support team at support@bitstamp.net.

Thank you,
Nejc Kodrič
CEO of Bitstamp

great news! i've put right my trust in you! I keep going to use your site!

2135  Economy / Gambling / Re: Our Scam list on: January 09, 2015, 03:20:30 PM
It would be better to create an honest list since by definition all hyip/ponzis are scams

totally agree. A list where you find how to invest your money, with some risk but not risk to be scammed.

2137  Economy / Gambling / Re: What if you knew how to make 0.001 per hour off Dice? on: January 09, 2015, 03:13:33 PM

but if it is possible and i know the method, i'll share it for free

yep...how can you make a bet starting with 0?
2138  Economy / Speculation / Re: Why I believe a beautiful and very bullish Bitcoin storm is forming on: January 09, 2015, 03:07:43 PM
Most of you know that I am an unashamed Bitcoin bull and have been so for a while now, but I think we are on the verge of some exciting times.

This Bitstamp issue might actually be a huge blessing in disguise.  It comes on the cusp of some major advertising for Bitcoin with the widely viewed Bitcoin Bowl and a good presence at CES this week just to name a couple things.  Roger Ver is bringing some press on the main page of Yahoo today (and on Business Insider) indirectly for not being allowed in the US, but it is press nonetheless. And these are just a few small things on the top of my head.  With the price undervalued right now (which I believe firmly that it is) It won't take much for the price to rebound.

That said, I feel strongly it is "when" and not "if" Bitstamp resumes operations, the price will jump and it will surprise all these newbies on the sidelines.  When they see the price move as quickly as some of us know the Bitcoin price can move, they will decide to throw some money in because they don't want to miss out.  That is how these bubbles begin.  It will just build from there. People throw in a little money, they see how much they earn in a week and they throw in more and so it goes.  How high will the price reach this time? Well that is debatable of course, but easily back to the ATH we achieved before.

So I feel like I am watching a storm in the distance and waiting for it to approach.  Smiley  Hopefully it is a tsunami and not just a few rain drops.

one question: if the price will rise in, i don't know, three days, of 15%, do you call this "few rain drops" or "a little single drop"?
2139  Economy / Gambling / Re: "L"YIP on: January 09, 2015, 03:00:31 PM
Hi everyone...
i see that there are a lot of thread about these HYIP and people who are searching for them.

Instead, i'm looking for something a bit different.

I mean, i'm not looking for something without risk, but something that there isn't scam! Is there some way to invest my btc in this way?

Thanks!
For something without risk... I got nothing. If you want to earn more in GAMBLING, you should risk them.
It wouldn't be called GAMBLING if those didn't risk something Tongue

wait wait wait! Like i wrote i'm not looking for something without risk, but something that there isn't scam

Anyways, thanks anyone for the answers

@Danydee: uhm...i think that is based to much on luck...or i'm wrong?
@activebiz: uhm...19,3% year is quite a lot. Do you think is safe?
