I've been hearing that the FBI and SEC are now investing Kraken as a big "inside-job" has happened during the update and all user funds have disappeared. This will be even bigger than the demise of Mt Gox.
Guys.... You should begin to accept that everything you have on Kraken has been lost and cannot be recovered as they even forgot to lock funds and even take blockchain snapshots.
In the unlikely event of Kraken ever coming online again, there will be a lot of panic withdrawals as nobody will ever trust them again. Kraken now face collapse regardless.

una domanda: ma secondo voi si può integrare tramite blockchain anche la ricerca di una data immagine che è protetta da copyright per vedere se è usata in maniera impropria su qualche sito?
Ci vuole un concetto di oracolo che porta informazioni dal mondo "reale" alla blockchain. Un boot potrebbe indagare la rete e riconoscere usi impropri. Se l'immagine A ha metadati che autorizzano pubblicazione su sito abc.it e lo trova su sito xyz.com allora xyz la sta usando senza permesso. Se uno cambia (cancella) i metadati allora ci vorrà qualcosa che riconosca le immagini per similitudine e poi presumo che un intervento umano sia utile. e qualcosa del genere non può essere realizzata sempre tramite blockchain? per esempio su ark a quanto ho capito permette di implementare programmi su blockchain. Poi certo servirebbe qualcosa che metta in comunicazione le due diverse blockchain, ma penso che ci si stia muovendo anche in quella direzione.. |

Come ho già detto più volte io credo nelle coin che hanno uno sbocco nel mondo reale, in questo caso il progetto è di creare una blockchain con immagini protette da diritto d'autore e usarla per controllare i siti che usano tali immagini senza averne il diritto, questo lo trovo molto più interessante delle coin che invece non hanno un fine specifico e che servono solo a spostare denaro, credo che nel lungo termine solo queste resisteranno mentre quelle dedite alla mera speculazione spariranno
l'idea è interessante, molto. Soprattutto perchè il diritto di autore e come difenderlo è qualcosa che può interessate diverse persone. Non ho capito però come può essere applicato nel concreto. Ovvero, come una blockchain può evitare che determinati siti utilizzino immagini/foto senza averne il diritto... Parlo per logica e non per conoscenza, la blockchain potrebbe assicurare che una certa immagine sia stata caricata ad una certa data e con un certo copying memorizzando, ad esempio, un hash di un file. La blockchain potrebbe anche gestire gli acquisti dei diritti di utilizzo. Stabilito di chi sia l'immagine, sarà possibile individuare chi la utilizza senza autorizzazione. Presumo che si possano individuare similitudini tra immagini anche senza i meta tag che potrebbero essere modificati. But in December 22 2017 bitcoin price losses one third of its value in 24 hours dropping below $14,000. Yes, but experts predict Bitcoin’s real value is almost $400,000. I do not know where you are looking,but https://bitcoinfees.earn.com/ on the top you will see up to 1200 minutes or "inf" which means infinity.Time for confirmations is estimated by number of block in which transaction should be confirmed,and also time in minutes which is go from 0-infinity. For example if you pay 281-290 satoshis/byte your transaction should be included in next 2-10 blocks and estimated time for that is from 5-180 minutes.You can also use other link I posted,if you know number of inputs/outputs and size of transaction you know how much fee you need to pay for specific time of confirmations. well, that was my mistake. I didn't realize that inf means infinity. That can be a real problem... hypothetically a transaction can be stucked...for, i don't know...months? |

Correct "derivation path". Although a lot of wallets should use the correct path by default. As far as I know, (I haven't tested EVERY coin)... Trezor adheres to the BIP39 and BIP44 standards... and SLIP44 which is a regsiter of the BIP44 coin types: https://github.com/satoshilabs/slips/blob/master/slip-0044.mdWhich is kind of logical, since "satoshilabs" (who make the Trezor) are the ones maintaining the list!  I know that by default, Electrum and ElectronCash will use the correct default derivation paths, not terribly familiar with MEW, but from my limited experience with it, it seems to use BIP39/44 as well. sorry, "derivation path", you're right. I've just wrote too fast  well, anyway, i suppose that i choose a wrong derivation paths in the worst case scenario, i can't see my coins/token but i don't lose them..correct?
