2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Dice game strategy? on: March 15, 2016, 01:55:31 AM
I've became interested in playing dice games with my BTC but every time I play I lose. Is there something that I'm doing wrong, or dice games are supposed to be like that? (sorry I'm new to this) Isn't there a guide or tutorial where I could get started playing these games? I don't know how this really works. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks  Wink

So far, I like dicecoin.io  Cheesy

i think that you play 50/50 chances one, so best strategy here that i know is to bet small amounts of money, if you lose, double your bet, and if you win, go to beginning, since dice games are based on luck, you have to be really lucky to win few times in row usually

Your suggested strategy is just a basic martingale strategy which wont work unless you have so great luck. In martingale you can get many losing streak, and it will eat all your bankroll.

Yes, that is true. In this method initially it looks like we got a luck but after some time and don't know when suddenly all your money is gone because of continuous losing streak. This losing streak don't know how long it can be and it is very difficult to predict so better gamble with limited amount and some times for fun.

I think, some times people will get continuous losing streak in the beginning itself. No need to wait for some time so it is fully based on luck and it is very risk method to use. It can easily and very fast can eat up all your bitcoins before you even realize it. Don't use this method to play dice.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to quit Gambling for good? on: March 15, 2016, 01:53:19 AM
it's probably very difficult to leave gambling and would require a tremendous amount of self restraining and self control and desire to actually leave it, it is not easy though but can be done with allot of effort, well, at least I think so.

Yes, once any one addicted to these gambling habits than very difficult task. But if a person decides to leave the gambling than surely he/she can find some ways to leave it sooner like spending more time with family or friends or try to keep them busy in out door actives.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 15, 2016, 01:50:49 AM
Today will be another big test for India bowlers and batsman. Today match is against New Zealand and they are very strong at the movement so if India really want to win this world cup than they should beat these strong teams. Last match India last against Australia so this match they may come back hard but NZ may not give up so easily.

This match will be very interesting to watch because both teams are almost equally strong. But i don't think, we can now predict the winner of this match. Only after first few overs than we can guess the winner until that both teams got equal chances to win this match.
2124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is it possible to buy bitcoins by paypal? on: March 15, 2016, 01:48:19 AM
Wheter you do it with a trusted user or not. Remember paypal doesn't allow their users to use the platform for crypto related events.
They consider this as illegal. Which means you always have the risk they block your account.

so long as they don't know that the transaction is about cryptocurrency you should be safe though. but still a dispute would be a hell of trouble. where in their policy did they mention such? i never really heard about it until today.

I don't think, paypal will limit your account for trading bitcoins because couple of times I sent paypal money request to buyer through there plotform and deal went smooth. So for, so good for me. But you should find only a trusted members to do these kind of high risk transactions.
2125  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: March 15, 2016, 01:44:31 AM
Try invest on btcjam and earn good interest, i think btcjam is way for earn money since they are best investments website

I don't think it is good site to invest our hard earn money on this site. What I know is lot of borrowers will surely default loans on that site and lenders are unable to recover back there coins. Even very high graded members also defaulted loans so I will not invest my money on this site.
2126  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Anyone booked profit when btc touched $ 400 ? on: March 15, 2016, 01:42:30 AM
Didn't book. But I don't regret it much, the price will increase more later on.
Still holding my bitcoins, let's see how much profit will come out of these.

I think, just by holding bitcoins we may not make so much profit. I also hold some coins for long term appreciation but mostly I will sell when I make more 20% profits from my buy price and again I will buy at lower prices. I sold at around 445 range recently and waiting for again brought around 395.
2127  Other / Off-topic / Re: du you spend coins on real life. on: March 14, 2016, 03:11:58 AM
Yes for me i spend some of my coins i convert my coins into fiat and use it to spend in many things like buy a t-shirt and pants.. but not all my bitcoins spent.. because i am waiting for the price increase after halving so that i can make more profit if it will happen...

meh. that's not spending bitcoin! you are just spending your cash.

spending bitcoin would be using bitcoin directly to buy stuff from shops. for example going into a shop and scanning their QR code and pay it with your phone through bitcoin network.

I think as of now bitcoins not become so popular to accept by all stores so if you convert your bitcoins to fiat currency to buy items are more easier. I use XAPO card to withdraw or pay online to buy items and it is as good as spending my bitcoins directly without additional process of manual conversion.
2128  Other / Off-topic / Re: What else besides Bitcoin r u doing to make money online? on: March 14, 2016, 03:07:48 AM
Before getting into bitcoin, I have been a part in big money ptc which was a scam. Now other than bitcoin no extra earning.

As a back up plan, you can explore fiverr to sell some unique ideas. This fiverr site is quite amazing but also got a lot of compitation to sell services. I find it quite good place to sell some guides and videos or photo shop related services and you can easily make some good money on regular basis.
2129  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your plan to get rich with Bitcoin? on: March 14, 2016, 02:17:55 AM
My plan was to mine it.. but now I'd rather earn it in other ways.

Try other ways because i think mining nowadays couldn't be as profitable as before, because it's needing good budget to start with.

In your country electricity is cheap than you can try mining otherwise mining may not be so much profitable business with paying expensive electricity bills. Now a days you can find some good cloud mining options to reduce some mining risks.
2130  Economy / Gambling / Re: Investing in Bitcoin Casinos on: March 11, 2016, 09:15:00 AM
I think investing in bitcoin casino's is not good because there are also a lot of that kind of websites that are just stealing money on that way.
I do not recommend this, too many risk if you ask me.

Yes, if you investment on not trusted websites than you can lose your money easily. You can really find very good trusted sites in this forum to choose couple of them to put your coins. But we should know that, this investment is quite high risky and we may lose our money and it will also grow money slow.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket match prediction discussions on: March 11, 2016, 09:11:40 AM
Netherlands is looking more stronger team than Oman but really hard to predict to about this match because both teams not have so experienced players like some strongest team but i will pick Netherlands for first match of the day.

These two teams are equally strong so no need to bet now but we can wait for live match to catch better odds. I feel Oman is doing quite good in recent games so they may have may this match. Anyway I don't bet on this match.
2132  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin trusted to put your real money on: March 11, 2016, 09:09:22 AM
Yes it is IMO, I did and have invested some money with bitcoins and I think it is a very decent investment, The value is volatile so not the best investment but it is mostly rising and the risk of it closing overnight is very low IMO.

Yes, the prices of bitcoins are very volatile hence it is better invest some portion of our saving into to it and one should continuously need to monitor prices otherwise you may lose lot of value in one or two days. The prices can fluctuate about $100 per day and it is quite lot.
2133  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are you holding your bitcoin for a price increase? on: March 11, 2016, 07:13:58 AM
Yes I'm holding them for a price increase, the price is gonna get a lot higher in my opinion.
The bitcoin will go to a higher amount this year I'm sure of that, also the halving is coming.

Yes, surely prices will go higher but just keeping bitcoins for so long term may not be a very profitable instead if you can small portion sell whenever you make some decent profit and buy back when prices fall. But initially start with small amounts until you learn how to trade successfully.
2134  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin or gold? on: March 11, 2016, 06:55:17 AM
Gold is more secure in my eyes, so I would go for the gold on a long term.
Gold is a primary currency and cannot collapse in my eyes, its almost impossible.

Yes, if your a less risk taker than gold should be a good investment option for you. But if you can take some risks than bitcoins will give you good profits in faster compared to gold. I think, we should invest in both instead of only one.
2135  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Best place to invest your bitcoin? on: March 11, 2016, 06:52:51 AM
i have no problem risking it all, but i was thinking something like stocks or binary options. if such services exist for btc.

I don't about any trusted sites provide buying good stocks from bitcoins but you can buy bitcoins and hold it for prices to go up to take profit and also you can invest in good and reliable casino sites to grow you coins.
2136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 11, 2016, 06:49:10 AM
i use my idle coins to buy some gold, i use the platform of bitgold, and i'm working to get my first 10g cube of gold!

Gold? Why gold? Bitcoin s 10x better store of value then gold. It s like using Bitcoin to buy fiat.

Maybe he want investment for long-term on gold, but i think it's kind of wasted imo. Better invest on bitcoins too, i mean like on gambling sites or trading.

Bitcoin investment is quite good for taking profits quite fast due to high price fluctuation and also it is risky because price can go low quite fast also. But gold moves very slow and grow also very slow, so it is good for people who want to take less risks.
2137  Other / Off-topic / Re: what you like best in Bitcoin ? on: March 11, 2016, 06:46:40 AM
The thing I like best about Bitcoin is that you can send money to anywhere around the world very quickly and cheaply.

Yes, that is true. We can send money to any one in the world without any big transaction and currency conversion fee. But also the main thing is, it is mostly unanimous transaction. For normal person difficult to trace the sender details and that's why it is quite popular in gambling.
2138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: advantage of bitcoin debit card? on: March 09, 2016, 03:21:07 AM
Actually it's cheaper to withdraw your Bitcoins into your bank account and then withdraw cash from your bank's ATM than withdrawing cash via a Bitcoin debit card.

Yes, that is true. But withdrawing bitcoins to bank account takes some time so during urgent time these card very useful. I do agree they have slightly high charges but the convince I feel it is ok to pay those fee. I'm using XAPO card and find it so for so good.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you do with your idle coins? on: March 09, 2016, 01:55:18 AM
Actually i'm not doing anything with my idle coins. First i collect my bitcoin until 0.2btc then i sell them all into fiat. So for now, i don't have any methods to make more profit with my idle coins.

Since many people are expecting bitcoin prices may go up this year so if you can just hold on to it for some time so you can make a good profit from prices increase in near future. Sell only if you really need a urgent cash otherwise buying bitcoins itself is a good investment.
2140  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best Investments on: March 07, 2016, 06:06:22 AM
Best investment now that you can do is in Bitcoin, I think. The value is not that high and it will become more popular so that is quite good.
I hope later that more people will invest and that they can get some profit and that they will like Bitcoin also.

Yes, that is sure. Just buy with small quantities and over the time when price go high than can sell it off of more profits. But, if you can take some risks than you can find couple of good casinos, which accepts investments and invest in those houses and your coins will grow slowly. But, it is quite risky investment and you can make some good profit.
