Well we don't know if it will reach at $1000 because many hack acitivity happens this year that can affect the value of bitcoin.. But it can be possible to happen because we dont know what will happen in the future just lets hope that the price of bitcoin will be increase more. in few months.. I stopped gambling when i took a big loss, once you experience a huge loss you are too depressed to ever gamble again, so maybe that is what you need, to experience a big loss and spend an entire month feeling like shit.
Yeah i've been through it, it was the most horrifying thing happened to me. i couldn't eat/sleep, i kept thinking about my losses for many days. although i still gamble like once in months.(with extremely small amount) This is important if you consider gambling as entertainment, you will not be too concerned about the defeat.
