2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you agree with ChatGPT on the club that might win the premier League? on: April 21, 2023, 06:20:16 PM
Even though the AI didn't match the correct 1st club of the league, we can't deny it was pretty accurate inside an error margin which is completely acceptable when trying to guess the correct winner of a competition. However, it just confirms what many members of this forum are saying since a long ago: to use an AI isn't guarantee of winning on sports betting on long term. Future events can't be foreseen with assurance by gamblers, much less by AIs.
2122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How much will the NFT collection rise in price after Elon Musk notices it? on: April 20, 2023, 07:24:35 PM
If Elon Musk wanted a NFT collection about himself he would pay someone to do this for him, so he could speculate on the price of the collection he has total ownership to make huge profit, instead of allowing someone else random on the internet to make profit on his back. That is the modus operandi used by several celebrities when launching NFTs. One of the most recent ones was Donald Trump.

And to say the truth, that is the only reasonable way to launch NFTs. It wouldn't make much sense to let another person profits through the usage of your personal image.
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can i make 100 $ daily from online casinos on: April 20, 2023, 07:17:21 PM
Initially it's really likely to be very easy to make 100$ daily from a 2000$ balance (it's just 5% of the total bankroll), because gamblers tend to profit on short term. However, within days or weeks, you can face a long loss streak that will inevitably take all your balance in a matter of few bets. If you are going to try this strategy, you have to hope to be lucky to win for 20 days in a row in order to at least recover the sum you "invested".

However, since we are talking about gambling, the term investment isn't the most accurate one. You can't treat a gambling session as an investment, because it heavily relies on luck, and not on skills or any other solid causality relationships to achieve your final goal, like we see on investments' analyzes.
2124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Pepe The Frog (PepeBNB) made 644% in 2 days and keeps growing on: April 20, 2023, 05:33:09 PM
Is it mean that memecoins times come back? Maybe that is new Shiba?   Cool Roll Eyes
It means another pump and dump scheme has been launched.

Brand new created token + memecoin + sudden price rise in large scale = Scam / Loss.

If you care about your money, stay away from PepeBNB, stay away from memecoins. The scheme has reached its peak and now it's already falling apart.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Wagering requirements for withdraw on: April 20, 2023, 05:25:28 PM
It's very simple: if you don't like a casino for their unfavorable terms, then don't gamble on it. Scam casinos are different from those that don't have favorable terms for their gamblers. They are running a business and are ensuring they'll win using their advantage. With lots of casinos in the industry, I'm sure we can find one that will satisfy our demands as gamblers.
That is it. If you aren't confortable with a promotion's terms in particular, don't apply for it. Just play normally without any bonusses, or look for a casino which has promotions with feasible terms and requirements, so you can try profiting from it with decent chances of success.

On the other hand, I can understand OP's annoyance for falling for such hardcore promotions and in every cases, his thread helps other gamblers to be more careful, and to pay more attention from now on before going for deposit bonus without looking for wagering requirements first.
2126  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to bitcoin builder? on: April 19, 2023, 07:24:30 PM
Why?
Why trace satoshi?
Why you want to know if he's dead or alive?

What difference does it make?

He didn't want to tell anyone who he is a decade ago and obviously still doesn't want to (assuming he's alive and kickin'),
can't you respect that?
Actually, OP is curious if USA has means to track Satoshi or not. And it is really a valid concern, because we know US has been able to track and spy many influent people and authorities from foreigner countries, besides people from their own country. Would it be so hard to track Satoshi, that even the mightiest nation in the world couldn't achieve doing this? Would Satoshi be more efficient in protecting his ID and localization than the specialists of intelligence services from countries which have been spied by US?
2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gamble Responsibly on: April 19, 2023, 05:18:16 PM
Gambling should never be used as a way to make money or solve financial problems it is important to only gamble with disposable income and never chase losses. Keep track of gambling times and amounts to stay within your limits if you feel this is becoming a problem, don't hesitate to take a break or stop altogether gambling can become addictive if not done responsibly. A gambler needs to take complete control of their gambling activities to be successful. People who cannot take full control of their gambling activities must refrain from gambling people around the world enjoy gambling but they do so responsibly.
But wait let me get some clarification on that assumption that gambling should not. Be taken as a means of making passive income, even though the gambling risk factor is higher than any other venture that provides passive income.  Gambling can change one life in a twinkle of an eye and also it can ruin one life, but gambling objectively is what makes the big difference and in as much as you can control your gambling behaviour.

But there is truly no certainty to. Whether one will win or lose while gambling so it is not a good means of income because you will certainly go bankrupt if you continue gambling excessively.
Do people still see gambling as a potential passive income's source? I thought that by now, in full 2023, after the sudden popularization of online platforms since the previous years, everyone were already aware about gambling being an entertainment activity to kill the time and to have some fun.
If during this hobby activity a gambler gets lucky to win a decent prize, he should consider himself a winner who belongs to the small percentage of gamblers who are able to hit the jackpot and make good use of it. Otherwise, that he continues his gambling routine without prejudicing his financial life spending money which is supposed to be used for another sectors of his life.
2128  Economy / Gambling / Re: How does AI gambling sound? on: April 19, 2023, 03:38:08 PM
Can you make bets on horses that are AI vs making bets on real horses? I see a new gambling project that focuses on horse racing only and I am surprised that those horses are not real live horses, I went deep doing research and it kinda looks like players will be the ones fine-tuning their horses 🐎 for better performance and go ahead to head with other players.

Do you think that gambling have a place with the metaverse in the future? I had a dream about being able to gamble online with people that aren't living close to me, we meet in the metaverse and it looks real, I know that sometimes when you think positively about something it is possible to dream about it.
I think you are talking about a Metaverse game where it would be possible to have virtual horses ruled by AI, which are possible to be improved and upgraded for better performances during the races, that can generate profit for gamblers who guess the winners correctly.

Well, there are every kinds of plans and ideas on this niche of crypto industry, but if it would work for real it's another story. Personally, I see gamblers wouldn't go through this whole process in order to place some bets on horses, since they can simply do this on physical races that happen in real time and don't rely on virtual mechanisms, such as AI and Metaverse, to work.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do you favor betting on spesific sport? on: April 19, 2023, 03:20:49 PM
Gamblers will bet on a specific sport most of time for different reasons, which are all connected among themselves.

It can be because it's their favorite sport, it can be because they have vast knowledge about the sport and its containing elements, it can be because the industry is more focused on this sport, so it's more profitable and interesting to focus your efforts on what is hyped by the market.

Not for nothing is soccer the most popular sport at bookies.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you take Part in Gambling Lotteries ? on: April 18, 2023, 09:43:04 PM
What if, I get a chance to participate in a lottery without any investment?
If any gambling site offers, free of cost entry in the lottery, i would definitely not miss that one. Smiley
Freebitco.in already offer the possibility of participating the lottery without the need of purchasing the tickets, as you acquire them simply by using the hourly faucet for free.

However, it's not so wonderful as it looks, because with accessibility comes more competition and therefore less winning chances.

Gamblers have so many lottery tickets that it ends being almost impossible to win something after all. I'm there for years already and never won anything from the lottery.
2131  Economy / Economics / Re: War: who benefits and how! on: April 18, 2023, 06:27:30 PM
Those who produce and sell weapons always benefit the most from war, because during wars the demand for weapons increases. The data show that in just one year, Ukraine consumed as much specific artillery ammunition as the US otherwise produces in even 5 years - and now, of course, production must be significantly increased in order to satisfy the demand to some extent.

Yes, that's right, arms dealers and arms manufacturers who supply arms and ammunition to warring parties, Apart from that I think some countries may benefit from the geopolitical impact of war expanding their influence or gaining access to resources but I think the benefits of war are often short lived and can outweigh the costs in the long run. Economic and human casualties of war can have lasting consequences, including political instability, social unrest, and economic disruption.
Depending the intensity and magnitude of the war there can be devastating consequences for the entire world, however, if it's just a concentrated conflict, I think some nations can be really benefited from it, as you pointed out the geopolitical impact when expading influence and having access to human and natural resources.

It's also noticiable that in war times technology advances much more expressively and specialists work with much more effort on their respective fields. Moreover, the winner takes it all, including topnotch scientists and technology from the defeated country or alliance.
2132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Do you love and enjoy taking risk? on: April 18, 2023, 05:23:13 PM
What I know is that altcoins have a bigger risk than the botcoin itself, the bigger you take the risk, of course, the closer you will lose a lot of money, the risk does exist, but we can reduce it by managing money in a good way.
To reduce the risk don't invest blindly in coins without doing your own diligent research. Some of us are investing in altcoins because of hype thinking it's worthy to invest in, then will panic if the price plunged because the hype is over. Investing in altcoins are quite risky especially to the new ones since they're not established yet. Thus, it's important to dig deeper and don't invest just because of what you think and have no concrete basis.

Anyway, invest in Bitcoin because it is good to hold for long term then include few alts in your portfolio based on your own analysis and not through recommendation. Having your own knowledge about the coins are important so you can understand if the coins are worth to hold either for long or short term.
The problem with investors like OP is that they are being driven by temporary speculative hypes, instead of focusing on long term results. He said to have invested in baby doge, which is clearly a bad option of memecoin to put money into. Investors who treat the market, their money and their investments like a joke, end becoming a joke themselves on this crypto market.

And that is not even about enjoying taking risks or not, but about enjoying being made fool by big crypto speculators...
2133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What's your take on the "seasons" topic? on: April 18, 2023, 03:34:16 PM
And there are only 2 "seasons": Summer (Bull) and Winter (Bear).

Someone might disagree with me as there are no real definitions to my knowledge to these terms. They are just memes from long time ago
True, as far as I know there are only the bull and the bear markets, which are the only seasons available on this environment. They are always ignited by a major movement in Bitcoin's price. If BTC goes up, we enter a bullish season and if Bitcoin goes down we enter a bearish season.

Altcoins don't have any influence on this process. It's quite the opposite, they are heavily influenced by the process.

I think what OP says about altcoin, memecoin, NFT seasons could be replaced by altcoin, memecoin, NFT hypes, what is also a consequence of the seasons, but not the seasons themselves.
2134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why we want inflation for good value on BTC? on: April 18, 2023, 02:48:28 PM
Inflation is good because it helps scarce commodities like Bitcoin and Gold to rise in value over time. But it's bad for those who only depend on Fiat to survive. What costs you $10 now, might cost you $20 in the future due to inflation. Things valued in BTC, get cheaper in crypto terms but not in Fiat terms. You may think you're getting higher purchasing power over time, but that's not really the case.
Although it's tempting to cheer up for inflation to continue rising on this case, so our assets get more valuable, I don't think it's right to endorse the chaos in order to profit from it. It may be possible to profit from Bitcoin the more inflation increases, but on the other hand, there are many cons which will impact you sooner or later. They are: increased criminality rates due to poverty, shortage of basic products disponible for sale, unemployment and the total bankruptcy of the state.

It's better that Bitcoin keeps climbing up in smoother steps, without inflation striking too hard.
2135  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: "Bitcoin has no use case" on: April 17, 2023, 11:31:16 PM
The article just misses the most important point  and for what bitcoin was created for: individuals seeking freedom.

Bitcoin transactions are borderless  , permitionless, censorship resistance.
You don't need permi to send your money, and no government controls it.
Those are the most important use cases.

You are right, these are important characteristics. But I think yan meant tangible examples like those mentioned in the article.
Maybe we could include this point of freedom on "international trade and commerce" reference. Thanks to Bitcoin many venezuelans and africans are able to avoid the fiat depreciation on their countries and even though their countries are pretty censoring towards their citizens individual rights, they are still free to make good use of Bitcoin for a better life quality among the chaos their societies are deeply plunged in.
2136  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are hidden signs to look for when you're dealing with a Fraudster / Scammer on: April 17, 2023, 08:18:57 PM
So my simple question is this, in your experience, what are the red flags and tell tale signs that the person you are dealing with is a scammer/fraudster. That is the million dollar question isn't it. How can you tell who to trust, forensic analysis edition is what i'm looking for. Would like to know the answer to this question in every applicable way or fashion that is related to our industry to use as sort of a guide book or study guide, if this exists please produce the source link for all to see. That information is almost priceless.
To make things simples, everyone on the internet is a scammer or fraudster in potential to deal with, unless they have how to prove their reputation on previous successful trades and deals. You never trade with someone you don't know the backgrounds with certain, that is why there is the middleman service on this forum, which is the person who will ensure the deal is legit for both sides of the negotiation, the seller and the buyer.

This way you can trade with everyone on the internet without worries of being scammed. The middleman must be someone highly experienced and reputable along the years on internet niches, like bitcointalk forum.
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why we should play on minor gambling platform? on: April 17, 2023, 06:30:44 PM
Minor casinos are offer better promotions and it's more easier to win than old casinos because you need to compete against old time gamblers which can spend more money than you. This is the reason why many people are interested to gamble on minor casinos, I don't see anything wrong about this. High risk high return isn't?

A big casino was once a small casino, it was not started as a big casino and many gamblers trust to this casino.
When a minor casino offers attractive promotions it makes sense to play on them, but besides this I don't see any other strong reason to swap from a consolidated gambling platform to a minor one. You say about competing against old time gamblers, but in most cases we bet against the house or on events involved third party people. PvP gambling is rare in big or small casinos, so I really don't think it's a decisive factor here.

Maybe gamblers are constantly tempted to try new things, so that is why they don't stick to a single casino, and after playing at every big websites, they have to go to the minor ones as the only alternatives left.
2138  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 17, 2023, 06:22:37 PM
What I am also interested in is what happens after 1 year of Premium membership, is it automatically extended without additional payment/purchase of extra tokens or? Also, can tokens be bought directly from the balance or only with a deposit?
After 1 year of premium program you start enjoying all the possible benefits, theoretically forever, or until you decide to sell your FUN, giving up the premium program.

You can buy tokens with your currently balance at PREMIUM tab.

2139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If I have $40,000 to invest in one #cryptocurrency. on: April 17, 2023, 03:36:04 PM
*What advice would you give me?

You have solid capital to invest, but at the same time you get into all kinds of garbage, like SHIB. What do you want to find there? This coin has already made its X's, being just a meme coin. I can't understand the sense of forming such a portfolio because of the fact that you invest in different meme coins, but can't allocate 1 or 2 positions to new and promising altcoins. Why? It's a mystery to me. If you don't understand the point of my misunderstanding, you can look at the illustrative example of portfolios in the Halab contest, https://loyce.club/other/halab_2023/Apr_17_2023.txt. If you pay attention to which portfolios are leading the list, you will realize that there are new and promising altcoins there, and you are loading your portfolio with various garbage that is not worth being in a good investment portfolio.

I am not imposing anything. Just my thoughts.
As he has already added DOGE to his list, which is the main memecoin, besides being a classic of crypto market, I think it's not advised to have more than one cryptocurrency of the same kind on the portfolio, therefore SHIB is completely discouraged. Instead of focusing on too many altcoins, maybe he could decrease the number of invested coins and tokens, while increasing the sum invested on the main cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin and Ethereum).
2140  Economy / Economics / Re: How do feels losing money? on: April 16, 2023, 07:58:34 PM
I have not gotten myself this days. Do you feel down when such sudden hits happens to you?
Of course, nobody likes losing money, especially decent sums of it. We feel really bad for a while, some for more and others for less time, but the important thing is to learn with the mistake which lead you into losses, so you will be ready to avoid similar situations of the same kind futurely. In the situation mentioned by you, you just need to be more careful with investments' offers that come to you.

You can't believe on everything you see on the internet, especially inside crypto universe, which is full of scammers. Be careful with altcoins and with high yields offered by staking altcoins or putting your BTCs on online platforms for hourly, daily or monthly income. The number of ponzis and hyips has decreased, when compared to previous years, but they still exist and may look tempting to investors, especially newbies.
