2121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🏆 The Emirates FA Cup - Season 2022/2023 on: January 16, 2023, 11:16:02 PM
Six FA Cup matches are scheduled for tomorrow and after this we should know all the teams that go in next round.
My eyes are on Wolves vs Liverpool and I can't believe how high are odds on Liverpool to win, maybe because they are not in great form and have missing players.
-snip-
I can't imagine Liverpool losing this match too. Enough failure this season seriously. Their fans received enough damage tho. Last time they got a draw 2-2 vs Wolves and the replay pissed Klopp before playing it.
For the other teams, I don't have much to adds except West Brom and Leeds victory normally.
2122  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 15, 2023, 11:18:31 PM
I'm really happy about Arsenals great lead of 8 points over Manchester City, (this year) it looks like a Premier League title for Arsenal  Grin
All team has their moments, I think this is Arsenal's moment. They are like the moving train, that is unstoppable. Their win against Tottenham means that are not ready to lose any points to any team, no matter what. I will be happy if, at the end of this year's premier league title, Arsenal came top of the PL table than Manchester City.

Arsenal deserves to win the PL title race. They have given their best shot. I wish they can be consistent in winning their remaining matches
It is early to say the last hope for City recovery vanished since we are in the half of the season but the mission became difficult. City missed many points, Arsenal seems to be unstoppable indeed, they resisted vs top teams, they lost once and get a draw twice = 7 points missed vs 15 missed by City.
Newcastle and ManU are just behind City with only one point difference. Liverpool lost badly vs Brighton, it makes them look like a low tier team..
2123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 15, 2023, 11:10:45 PM
PSG are currently losing to Rennes and its looking like the game will end that way.  I placed a bet on PSG despite knowing that the game was going to be a tough one. This loss reduces the gap between them and Lens to 3 points and places Rennes the same point with Monaco. In as much as PSG still look like the winners of the league, they will not be running away with it this season. Lens is keeping them on their toes. Maybe they're more focused on the UCL but I know they will not want to lose the league. There are still 19 games to go so the season is still log and a lot can happen in 19 games.
Well Neymar and Messi aren't in their best days, Mbappe didn't play in the first half and in a part of the second one. PSG didn't advanced well lately with 2 defeats in 3 games making Lens 3 points away from them and Marseille 5 points away.
We are now in the half of the season and we can say that PSG failed to secure a large gap from the others. This season is quite interesting in Ligue 1 Wink
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 15, 2023, 10:58:01 PM
Real Madrid lost its rythme of winning from a while.. Rayo before the World Cup, then Villarreal recently, these defeats made Barcelona get a gap again in the first place and now Real Madrid lost against Barcelona 1-3 in the Supercopa..
Back to La Liga, ATM refuse to get a gap from Betis and Villarreal and Sevilla insists on staying in the relegation zone
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 15, 2023, 10:51:06 PM
So

Juventus lost by 5-1 this weekend.
Atalanta won by 8-2 Today.

Next week we will have Juventus-Atalanta.

What can possibly go wrong here?  Grin
Juve winning by 3 goals difference vs Atalanta Grin
A bit serious, I think Juve could win, regardless of playing home or not, Juve recovered, it is unfortunate that they lost this time but their rival was Napoli which is the best team in Serie A this season. For Atalanta, they won big but it was vs Salernitana which isn't a top team. Odds are in favour of Juve BTW.
After Milan dropping 2 points and Juve 3, Napoli was able to secure 9 points gap from Milan in the second place. Meanwhile, only 4 points separate the 2nd spot from the 7th one! Incredible Serie A this season.
2126  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin hits 20,000$ again, what is the reason? on: January 14, 2023, 03:19:28 PM
Unstoppable yes. But you are talking about price, aren't you? That is definitely stoppable haha.

Definitely nice to see us above 2017 ATH and yes, I still think US inflation sentiment has a lot to do with that but not holding my breath just yet.

So much to wait for. World Bank insists we are heading for worse and I won't mind being asked to wait a bit more for a true rally. Still, nice to have some relief so early in the year.
It is true inflation should promote cryptocurrency use but the action taken by the federal reserve tho to slow the inflation has a negative impact on the world economy and bitcoin normally. It is curious to see how the price went these days and hopefully we can see it consolidating at a higher level.
2127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: January 14, 2023, 03:14:31 PM
Bayern Munich VS RB Salzburg GOAL 4 - 4 - DRAW
With the exception of a few too many poor passes, I couldn't care less about the outcome; what matters is that Bayern performed well. I'm especially happy with blind and the younger players. The young players, especially Arijon Ibrahimovic, made me very delighted. He plays the game so well.
20 substitutions were done in this game, 10 in both side. They gave opportunity to their players to play more time and for the main one to train a little.
I don't care about the result also, the main point is to see the weakness of each one and especially the goalkeepers in the Bayern side. Replacing Neuer won't be an easy job there.
2128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 03:05:26 PM
The competition is getting tougher because with United's victory this makes them only one point away from City and six points from Arsenal, so Arsenal's position is still not safe.
The successive wins that United have gotten so far have really begun to dispel doubts that Ten Haag can give United something different.
In this match Erling Haaland didn't do much, he got a tight escort and United's defense was consistent enough to keep his movements.
Arsenal still lacks 1 match comparing to ManU and City. So, the 5-6 points difference might become 8-9 which should make them play comfortably once they win against Spurs today.
Such defeat for City will make things more complex for Guardiola. Best scenario was City victory against ManU and Arsenal defeat by Spurs so 1 point difference... Now City should pray for Spurs victory!
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 14, 2023, 12:44:50 AM
It is ironic to see Villarreal winning vs Real Madrid the second team in La Liga and getting only a draw vs Celta Vigo, 15th, barely scoring goals while receiving more and hovering near the relegation zone.
There will be another game between Villarreal and Real Madrid in Copa del Rey next Thursday.
Otherwise Sociedad and Bilbao is the most interesting game in my opinion this round. Odds are closer, slightly in favour of Sociedad.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 14, 2023, 12:39:04 AM
Spectacle from Napoli! Simply spectacular!
With this massive victory I have absolute no doubt that they got such a massive boost and confidence that they could beat anyone and this is already a champion mentality that will most likely carry them towards Scudetto 2022/23 <3.

Juventus ...they have big issues when it comes to play offensive and tonight they got punished hard for this. Shocked
I wonder know how Napoli lost their game vs Inter last week Roll Eyes
I left them 2-1 in the first half and what a shame to see Juventus destroyed by 5 goals to 1! Such result will boost Napoli confidence but also their chances to lift the scudetto this season while Juve spirit will plunge further..the bad way.
What left now is to see Milan failure vs Leece which is unlikely to happen.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 14, 2023, 12:32:43 AM
Aston villa really hard a good outing tonight as their beat Leicester united in the match, but am afraid the premiere league is getting a stage where no club is safe.

But the match I look out to is Manchester City vs Manchester United tomorrow.
Competitiveness in EPL is another level comparing to the other leagues. Even the teams that are sitting now in the relegation zone, they used to be around the 10th spot previously! For now, between rank 13 and rank 19, there is only 3 points which means the table might shift at any moment.
Aston Villa took important 3 points from Leeds with 10 points away from the relegation while Leeds is only 2 points far..
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: January 12, 2023, 11:34:00 PM
Real Madrid seems to deny the rumors about Harry Kane, good for them overvalued player. (IMHO)

Besides that, not a single rumor from Liga, Germany, Italy, or France.

Only Premier is doing something in this session.
The budget and the power to buy players make EPL way powerful comparing to the other leagues. So, it is normal to see more rumours there, especially that top clubs in the other leagues aren't willing to spend more after the summer transfer window except in case of need like Neuer injury in Bayern...
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: January 12, 2023, 11:27:36 PM
Milan desperately looking for a striker: Kolo Muani would be the dream, but there are many European big names on him, including Bayern Munich and Manchester United.  Instead, it could be a blow for June Hojlund, but Atalanta would like to get at least 35-40 million from it.
Atalanta is like Dortmund in Bundesliga, they sell their players then struggle to maintain their position and to form a new one that they will sell once he shine and so on.
For Milan, they renewed Bennacer contract until 2027. Ibra and Origi will return to the squad. There is talks about Danjuma too. We will see how fit the injured players will be and if there will be a deal for new players there.
2134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2022/2023 on: January 12, 2023, 11:18:33 PM
Every time I wonder how low Chelsea could go, they surprise you with a deeper result.
The red card taken by Joao had a negative impact on the team that's sure but the dysfunction that exists in Chelsea is horrible. It is a manager and players issues, both sides should be blamed.. 4 points in 5 games, 10th spot, that's a joke for real.
2135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 12, 2023, 11:07:35 PM
After going 5 years without winning the league's super cup trophy, Barcelona will want to end that record by trying to win it this time. Real madrid were able to win in penalties and advance to the finals now it is left to Barcelona to win against Real Betis who we know cannot be underestimated in this competition because they have done so well to come this far with big dreams of lifting the trophy, in football anything is possible.
It is funny to see both Barcelona and Real Madrid moving to the final game thanks to penalties Smiley
Real Betis and Valencia are respectable teams and tried hard to pass but failed against fierce opponents.
In the final game there will be some tensions since Barcelona failed last time in EL Classico and they are leading La Liga with 3 points gap from Real Madrid and they are also eliminated from UCL so they will try to secure at least a trophy this season which could be the Supercopa and why not La Liga
2136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 12, 2023, 10:47:08 PM
It's good enough now for Marseille especially with this they are now starting to get back to good form and haven't lost again during their last few matches in Ligue1.
Marseille's dominance was visible from the start of the kick off and they really did a good job in this match because of 2 goals in the first half and early in the second half and with their possession it was very difficult for Troyes to change this result.
Marseille didn't fail in their last matches which is a good thing. Their last match was vs Troyes which isn't that top but their next game will be more challenging vs Lorient Wink
This round was bad for Lille, Lyon, Rennes and Lens. Monaco and Lorient got a draw which is a fair enough result for both but not good in terms of table points gap.
Overall only PSG and Marseille got 3 points between the top 8 teams
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: January 11, 2023, 08:08:14 PM
It is interesting that some websites are showing Mbappe as injured and some others say that he is suspended for one match. But it looks like it is the truth that he will miss only the Angers match. I don't think this will be a big deal for PSG as they have Messi - Neymar duo. Messi hasn't been playing nearly for four weeks. He must have had a good time in the meantime by celebrating his World Cup title. But from now on the team needs him to start playing seriously again.

Especially in the Champions League his services will be needed very much. Because the Ligue 1 is already easy for PSG but it isn't the case as for the Champions League.
Missing Angers' game should pass without problem. It is a match that Neymar and Messi could replace him and where his services aren't that important for the team.
Another game like vs Marseille or Lens or even Bayern in UCL should not be missed and the team risk to lose without him, I would say even with his presence nothing is guaranteed vs Bayern.
While writing, PSG scored a goal after 5 minutes from the beginning Wink
2138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2022/23 on: January 11, 2023, 07:52:28 PM
It looks like the Super Cup match between Real Madrid v Valencia has started or is about to start and this is the semifinal match, and the other match that will be played tomorrow is the match between Betis v Barcelona. It looks like Real Madrid and Barcelona will play in the Super Cup final because it looks like Valencia and Betis this season are not too promising to be able to provide strong resistance for the big teams in La Liga.
So yes, I personally don't care about the strategy and the players he plays, because it looks like at this moment or this season the rivalry of Real Madrid and Barcelona will indeed continue. With the ambition to prove their quality, then of course Real Madrid and Barcelona will be able to win the match in the semi-finals of the Super Cup this time.
Real Madrid is leading with 1 goal in the first half vs Valencia in Saudi Arabia in the Spanish Supercopa. The goal was scored by Benzema by penalty. Real Madrid should win this game tho.
Real Betis - Barcelona tomorrow will be played in the same stadium and I expect to see Real Madrid and Barcelona final.

There's a sad news Hugo Lloris announce his retirement on international football career, so he wouldn't play for France anymore. At least he already feel become a world cup champion on 2018, although it just need one step more to become back to back champion on the previous year world cup. Well it seems Lloris is still playing for Tottenham, but I think his performance will constantly dropped since he's wouldn't trying very hard like before.

France seems already have Lloris replacement, it's Areola aka West Ham's goalkeeper. While Tottenham need to hurry up to find a good replacement since currently the other goalkeepers are have poor performance.

Source: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/20990380/france-lloris-retires-international-football-tottenham/
I think he ended his international career on a high note, winning the world cup once and finishing as finalist in the just ended Qatar 2022. Even though I wish to see more of his heroic performances for France I have to accept that his time has come to an end. France will have to make a new goal keeper selection to take over in his position and Areola happens to be the next suitable candidate to step in as Lloris's replacement.
He is 36 years old now and will become 40 by the next World Cup so it is logical to retire just after a good performance with France in Qatar World Cup.
For his local team, there isn't an urgent need to sign a replacement for him since he will be there with them for the next two - three years.

The Manchester derby is the most awaited game of the week undoubtedly. Manchester United have a nice advantage of playing in Old Trafford. They have been quite successful against big teams here this season. Manchester City are one of the toughest opponents of course but we never know. ten Hag would like to keep the same game plan against Manchester City as well.

Arsenal are also playing a tough game this week so this is very important for Manchester City to have a chance to catch up. But it feels like Manchester United will somehow manage to get at least one point in this.
Spurs - Arsenal is an interesting game with odds in favour of gunners of course.
The problem with Spurs is their defence which makes them easier to receive a goal than Arsenal. In terms of attack, there isn't a big difference in my opinion.
ManU - City is challenging too with a slight advantage for City. A draw might be a good option for ManU too.
