When it comes to being in a crisis situation I don't think Real Madrid are in crisis right now for example. As far as I know they don't have any issues with FFP rules either now unlike Barcelona. They must have enough funds to pay PSG's asking price for Mbappe and meet his contract demands both now. They just don't look like they intend to make this happen for now.

But for Barcelona the situation is really complicated. They have increased their revenue by signing big sponsorship deals though. But their finances are still not in a very impressive condition. Even if it was the FFP rules I mentioned are still an obstacle for them to spend high sum of money for any transfer this summer.
If there's anything about crises between the two teams then it'll surely be Barcelona who's currently having financial crises. However Barcelona still remain as one of the best teams in the league despite their inability to sign as many players as they'll wish to.
Barcelona won the league last season even when it was visible that Real Madrid had better squad which will surely make Madrid to try make up for their shortcomings when the new season kickoff.

Real Madrid lacks a solid attacker, that could replace Benzema and score goals. In the previous season, Real Madrid suffered a lot from Benzema injuries for exemple and they struggled to score in many occasions. Vinicius Junior and Rodrygo did a good job but they couldn't hide that missing spot.
I would add that Real Madrid don't have enough attackers, they don't have right now any substitutes for their wingers after the departure of Asencio and Hazard. The worst part is not seeing enough rumours at least about recruiting new players in these positions apart from Mbappe. Even Harry Kane want to join Bayern Munich..

Since Ten Hag arrived, Maguire has started to become an alternative choice due to inconsistent performances and often making fatal mistakes. Currently Ten Hag has also moved the captaincy, he has been captain for almost 3.5 years. Perhaps this decision made Maguire disappointed. So many rumors circulated Maguire was preparing to leave Man United. Reportedly there are many clubs interested in owning him, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham, and Newcastle United.  Serie A clubs Inter Milan and Al Hilal could also be new destination options for Maguire. United label Maguire with a price tag of 50 million pounds
Harry Maguire is pissed off after getting away the captaincy from him by Ten Hag, in addition to not playing enough last season. Honestly, I support Ten Hag on not considering him after his disastrous and infinite mistakes. I consider him the player number 12 in Manchester United opponents in every single game he participated on.
Bruno Fernandes will most likely be the new captain and Maguire will move to Chelsea in my opinion since they lack defenders. Otherwise Spurs, West Ham could also be a choice for him. I doubt he will move to Saudi Arabia since he will try to get the revenge and prove Ten Hag wrong. For the price, Ł50m? that's a joke. His market value is currently €20m, and that's overestimated too in my opinion..

I doubt the Vlahovic to PSG transfer would still work.
I saw a news report today where some PSG ultras help up a banner than said something like like "if Vlahovic goes to Paris they will cut off three of his fingers"
Details of the report said the issue came from a time when Vlahovic made a certain celebration after scoring or whatever. I don't know how serious that might be, but things like this can be serious enough for the player or the club or both parties to start having second thoughts.
Juventus wants to sell Vlahovic because they need to sell to balance their books and they need money. It's not because they don't need him any more. I believe it they get Lukaku they would sell Kean.
Since Harry Kane declared that he is not interested to play with PSG, he prefer to go to Bundesliga with Bayern Munich, then Vlahovic will be the target of PSG.
As far as I am aware of, the player accepted 5 years deal with PSG and it is up to Juventus to accept the offer and let the player walk away.
For the supporters, I think they are overreacting and they will not be crazier than Manchester United ones..

I know a lot of people are very interested to see how Barcelona is going to perform in the Champions League competition. I honestly do not think that we should have big expectations from Barcelona. Personally, I do not think Barcelona will go very far in the Champions League. In my personal opinion if Barcelona can actually reach the semi-final of the Champions League I will say that it is going to be a decent performance from Barcelona.

I also understand that you are trying to say Robert Levendoski and İlkay Gündoğan have lifted the Champions League trophy before. But they are quite old right now. So I cannot say that Barcelona is going to win the Champions League trophy because they are in the squad.
Barcelona improved a lot since Xavi started training the team and since Lewandowski joined them also. The old players have left the club, yet the impact of their departure was absorbed swiftly. It is true they couldn't do much in European competitions but they dominated by far La Liga. Their defencive line was one of the best in Europe. That transition period wasn't very successful but it is going smoothly to the better.
Barcelona problem remained the money, otherwise I expect them to play in Champions League finals next season, maybe they will not lift it but at least they will not humiliate themselves this time.

Now let's imagine if Haaland gets injured who has contributed 36 goals what will happen to Manchester City still reliable? so this is where Manchester City's weakness problems like this can come at any time while Arsenal do not rely on one player they play their respective roles while on the field. I still have hope that Arsenal will be the strongest competitor for Manchester City so we won't see the dominance of just one team.
Manchester City didn't have Haaland in the other seasons although they finished first in EPL and played in advanced stages in Champions League. The strategy will certainly change depending on the games and what Guardiola feels appreciate, they will figure a way to adapt.
The advantage of having Haaland is playing comfortably in the hardest matches while stressing the opponents a lot. His firepower guarantee the success of the team whenever he is fit for the game.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2023/24 on: July 16, 2023, 01:50:30 PM
Barcelona managed to sign Gundogan because Gundogan is also on a free transfer and also, even though Mbappe has been linked with Real Madrid for a long time it is also not a guarantee that Mbappe will go to Real Madrid. So yes, anything can still happen and "for example" Mbappe to Barcelona, it is also still possible to happen. But unfortunately, Barcelona do not have stable finances in this moment and of course, with financial management that is not good then it makes Barcelona at this moment do not have big plans to bring in the most expensive players.
Barcelona are in heavy pressure considering recruitment of new players unless they are free agents. They have right now 26 players in the team, half of them foreigners. They got Gundogan and Martinez for free and collected few millions from Griezmann and Trincao. This money will not help them get any top player, they lack a real replacement for Lewandowski in case he get injured unless Xavi change his tactics.. For Mbappe, he will join Real Madrid, that's sure.

If someone asked me six months ago about MLS or the Saudi league I would have said that MLS is better. But now I have to say the Saudi league is improving rapidly and also probably better compared to the MLS. Anyway, Lionel Messi is definitely going to MLS.
Just because the SPL are getting more players to come join the league does not make it better already. The competition in the league is not so much and that is one of the purpose why they have invested so much in trying to bring experienced players there after Ronaldo to make it better. The new season has not yet started and we have not yet seen the effect that the new players that have been signed there will bring, so we cannot already say it is better than the MLS that is very competitive. we will need to judge from next season not when the season has not started.
Both Saudi league and MLS are based on few excellent teams and the others are close to medium. SPL have like 5 teams with a huge budget recruiting foreign players mainly European to be able to compete in their domestic league but also internationally. MLS isn't far from them. Both leagues are interesting since they have big names in them, the difference is MLS is quite known comparing to Saudi Arabia league which is relatively newly popped from scratch.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 16, 2023, 01:35:34 PM
as long as PSG doesn't lose their best players like Mbappe and Neymar PSG still has hope of getting the Liga 1 title but after the contracts of these two best players run out it might be a little difficult to get the Liga 1 title in the future.

but to catch the Champions League, maybe PSG is a little difficult because seeing their performance they cannot compete with other big teams like Man City and Real Madrid at this time unless luck is on PSG side in the coming season.
Neymar lost two third of his highest market value in two seasons approximately. He played with PSG 29 matches in all competitions last season including 6 in Champions League and 20 in Ligue 1 scoring in the latter 13 goals. Mbappe played 34 games in Ligue 1 and scored 29. Without counting injuries but Mbappe by far is more useful and important than Neymar in the team. Since PSG will end up by losing both of them soon, it would be better to not include them in their strategy, at least in the medium term, until they find suitable substitutes..
1209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 16, 2023, 12:53:42 AM
I wonder how Napoli will go on from here, will they be able to maintain same form as they showed previous season with a new manager controlling and directing the affairs of the team with new tactics and strategies or could this be the beginning of their down fall? Many questions are going through my mind. Could they successfully convince Osimhen to extend his contract and find a new striker?
Until now nothing big happened in Serie A, just slight change as far as I am aware of which means things will remain quite the same next season with Napoli advantageous along with Inter tho. Obviously there might be new signing later otherwise the other teams will be in trouble concurring Napoli.
I expect Juventus to return to the race for top spots in addition to Milan. For Roma, you have the feeling they are broke and collecting free transfers while selling some of their players! Quite weird what they are planning for the next season.
1210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 16, 2023, 12:40:01 AM
The decision of all these transfer are not coming solely from a manager though but all these deals are coming from the whole management. They have spent alot for Rice and even if they wanted to, the budget is pretty much limited and aside from that imagine all the backlash that Arteta will get if he fail to get atleast top 2 in the next season
Arsenal spent a lot of money and the stuff will be very angry on the management if they fail to bring a trophy to the club and to secure a Champions League spot for the year after. I would say not winning EPL at least will make them disappointed. If Arteta lose several games and get down badly in the ranking he risk being kicked from the team. His missing is very hard with all efforts done to make the gunners great again Wink
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 16, 2023, 12:35:46 AM
Currently, Macnshter City is a higher chance for the champions league however other teams like Real Madrid are trying to hire better players to improve themselves still Guardiola and his players got a better chance because they tried to sell some older players, and improved their team like that maybe that's how they can even win the champions league for another time.
Guardiola knows the way to win the champions league more than any coach.
Manchester City will start the next season with few changes only while Manchester United, Liverpool and especially Arsenal made a lot of efforts to improve the squad and they should not be underestimated whether in Champions League or EPL.
There is Bayern Munich that is also making the squad way better. I don't see big things in France and Italy. Barcelona and Real Madrid are classically though teams to face. Overall next season will be harder than this one in my opinion.
1212  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 15, 2023, 04:24:21 PM
Al Hilal will attempts to buy Galatasaray player Nicolo Zaniolo that it say they are willing to pay 120 millions salary for 4 years and he has contract with Galatasaray until 2027 but this summer he was rumoured to moved from this team because reported Juventus are interested want to bought him from Galatasaray but apparently huge amount of salary which is offered by Al Hilal might be will tempting him to moved to Saudi Pro League and actually Zaniolo has arrived to Galatasaray on Feb this year but he has impressive performance and can able to help Galatasaray to get Turkish league title however Zaniolo is still 24 years old so he still have good potention to playing at european clubs and i think he should be thinking twice to accept the offers from Al Hilal
Zaniolo moved from Roma to Galatasaray with a quite long contract term up to 2027, which makes them decide when to let the player go if no team is willing to pay the release clause which isn't that high luckily.
Playing in Galatasaray will make him playing in European competitions, which is the most important advantage, other than that Saudi league is better financially and with the number of players arrived there, the league will be interesting too. Since the player is young, he has nothing to lose in my opinion by playing in this league or an European one.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 15, 2023, 04:02:21 PM
Arsenal spent heavily this transfer window, if I am not mistaken they spent more money than any other team this transfer window whether in EPL or even elsewhere?
€226.6m given to bring Declan Rice, Kai Havertz and Jurrien Timber.
Gunners are now the team with the most market value among teams in EPL! If it shows something then it is how serious the stuff and Arteta are to bring a title or two for the team next season. Manchester City and Guardiola should be worried about its titles.
1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: July 15, 2023, 03:55:14 PM
But Bayern managed to take the first place last season. Yes, Dortmund got the same number of points, but Bayern scored more goals and eventually won the Bundesliga. This kind of competition between Dortmund and Bayern happens regularly, so I wouldn't say Bayern are in some kind of crisis. It's just that this season has been difficult for all clubs.
Virtually talking, Dortmund get the Bundesliga title and throw it to Bayern Munich at the last moment for no reason.
It is true on paper Bayern Munich added another trophy to theirs but they should not consider that as an achievement. They should regret playing that way in the previous season and they are doing their best to rebuild the squad. They are seeking now Harry Kane to close the gap in their attack line and Kyle Walker to consolidate the defensive line.
1215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: French Soccer League Predictions and Discussion Thread (Ligue 1) on: July 15, 2023, 03:46:57 PM
It is not that easy for PSG. The Messi, Neymar and Mbappe connection was an exception because strong players do usually not want to go Ligue 1. Haaland never considered for a moment to go to PSG and it makes sense to me as he quickly realized that it would have been a massive waste of his potential and his career. Nobody cares whether he scores 20 or 30 goals in Ligue 1, but everybody cared whether he is going to break the records in the Premier League. Someone who does that must be a world class player and it counts a lot.
Players tend to select teams based on the money they will earn, the achievement that could be done and the position of the league among the european ones.
Based on money, I mean the salary they will perceive, for example Neymar moved to PSG since he has a big offer. Achievements for PSG are Ligue 1 title which is obvious and potentially a big chance to play in Champions League and eventually try earning it which is the only interesting thing selecting that team specifically. For the position, Ligue 1 comes to the 5th place after EPL, La Liga, Serie A and Bundesliga. Less competitive than the others even though Marseille and Lens made some actions last season but far from influencing the ranking of PSG.
1216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2023, 11:21:46 PM
Plot twist.
Juventus is may interested in buying Lukaku for Chelsea according go Di Marzio.

HE is promised to Inter, but Juventus can break the deal between them.

Juventus being interested in Lukaku deal would mean that the Juventus team are looking towards selling their young serbian striker, Dušan Vlahović to PSG. With 80M fee slapped on Dušan Vlahović; and Chelsea wanting as little as 40M for the unwanted loanee striker Lukaku; i think its a good deal for both parties
Although Lukaku isn't playing as he used to play previously, yet we find teams fighting to recruit him. Juventus, Ac Milan rumours about getting him was correct but quite random since the player claimed he wants to stay with Inter.
There is a second attempt by Inter to seduce Chelsea which seems to get maximum profits from this.
1217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: July 14, 2023, 11:15:22 PM
Manchester City is currently in their best shape and they are in a situation in which I can say Guardiola can even help his team to win the champions league for another time because Manchester City right now got everything they need.
They got a star like Haaland in their team and a coach like Guardiola who knows how to win this tournament.
Classically Manchester City is a contender for the Champions League and EPL titles by default. What makes this easy to happen is the fact that the other teams are playing poorly. Let's start with Manchester United bad debut, Liverpool out of its normal shape, Bayern Munich and PSG aren't that competitive, Real Madrid wasn't playing as they used to do, Barcelona failed bad in European competitions altogether... That was like a direct road to the titles. Even the Italian clubs weren't successful in stopping City.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: July 14, 2023, 01:47:33 PM
It is only natural that there are hateful comments about the Saudi league, especially coming from fans of Europe's top leagues, and the parties concerned are certainly very understanding of what they are doing. I think the fact that the saudi league is starting to gain popularity is indisputable from now on because this league will attract the interest of the public in a sizeable amount.
Saudi League is getting more popular otherwise we wouldn't see people around the world talking about it that much, even in our forums I feel the topic is more active than some European leagues.
The main point is how much this bubble or tendance will remain. I mean Chinese at some point were popular among Europeans then suddenly faded. I don't know if Saudis will keep their league attractive or will stop running behind players after few seasons..
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 14, 2023, 01:36:55 PM
It really surprises me. I don't even expect if walker gonna try to make verbal agreement with bayern. I thought that if kyle was extending his contract with manchester city but it's likely city is not giving lucrative offer for him. I think that's the main reason for him tries to leave from the club.
Manchester City may face a lot challenge next season with how many of their key players are leaving this season to other clubs. Gundogan already left, Laporte, Mahrez, Bernando will leave also, and now Kyle Walker. Manchester City most likely will not enjoy their consistent victory in games like they did last season because of how the team will try to adjust without all these players as options and also with the new players that will come join the club. The news on Gvardiol and the progress on the report to sign him is still waiting to be heard.
If we talk about positions then all of these players have at least one substitute, if not several ones apart from Mahrez. We know also that Mahrez didn't participate a lot in the previous season and was less effective comparing to two or three years ago.
Obviously having many players leaving the club will destabilise it but Manchester City know already that a transition phase will occur especially after they won everything especially Champions League title Wink
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: July 14, 2023, 01:30:46 PM
@Uruhara Pulisic is a very talented player and he was not used well at Chelsea however at Milan we can hope that he’ll be given more opportunities to perform and thus I feel that he’ll definitely improve the team. Furthermore last year the Italian team’s improved way beyond expectations and this year I believe that they’ll continue to push the other league team’s even further because they’ll be hurting from their loss that they suffered last season.
He played well at Dortmund and impressive enough to convince Chelsea to buy him. However his performance for Chelsea is not as good as they expected from Pulisic. When their new coach does not want to add Pulisic into his plan, he has to find another club and it is AC Milan. It is a chance for Pulisic to enjoy a third big league in Europe, after Bundesliga and Premier League, now he will play in Serie A. He is still young enough to think of La Liga in next some seasons.

Italian football does not have too fast speed, high intensity like Premier League and it can help Pulisic to play better. With his vision and good dribbling skills, he will be useful for AC Milan and can support Rafael Leao and Giroud.
EPL level is way better than the others, for me it is the equal of La Liga and Serie A together. A player joining EPL has to know that the challenge there is intense and risk of failure is considerable.
Ac Milan didn't impress in the previous season, they dropped badly and kept hovering between playing good and sometimes doing really bad. Until now they didn't sign big names, they bought two players from Chelsea and sold Tonali to Newcastle.
