Are you considering 18000 cryptocurrencies as a growth? I don't think so nor do I agree with that. 99% are just useless. Bitcoin and a few altcoins are potential on the market. I have a friend who invests in cryptocurrency like me, he is an investor hold Luna and he has also lost quite a bit because of Luna. But what's more sad is his 2 best friends. Those two are also hold a lot of Luna's and Luna's crash causes them to lose all their possessions and become insane. As he said, one person has gone through the crisis and one has not. This is a sad story that I have heard. Through this story I want everyone to know 1 golden rule in investing is: never give financial advice to anyone. By the time you give them financial advice, you may feel like you're one step ahead of them, but if that advice is wrong, you could be the one hurting them.
This is why i don't convince my friends to invest in crypto because this is a very risky investment. One could lose all his hard earned money just because of doing wrong moves in crypto. If they think they can make quite a fortune in crypto, i always tell them to DYOR first before they create conclusions. It's not that crypto is all about profits, but more on losses too that is why i don't give financial advice as i don't want to be responsible on their future losses. It's too crazy to lose 95% of money,  but I only use 30% of each sig payment, the rest is for other purposes, it means more to me. It's not crazy at all to be honest with you. Personally, I have lost my investment several times when I initially got into gambling(FIAT and Crypto) since I usually prefer yolo gambling where I go all-in. However, I have won big amounts using this strategy too which is why it's a great strategy in the short-term. I use the fixed betting strategy for longer sessions though. I used to go all in before and I can say that although sometimes I earn huge amount by doing this but I encounter more losses because this is more riskier option to be made by anyone. Maybe I prefer betting a small portion because my goal is to make my game prolong so that I can enjoy even if I lose some amount of money if bad luck hits. If you go ALL-In in gambling, this means that you are not a responsible gambler and you are taking too much risk. Also, it means that you are not following any money management skills and emotions are too much involved in your gamble. Good that you learned your lesson and avoid risking all your capital in one go.
