2122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: After years in this space...I am now a BTC/ETH maximalist (Both are important) on: December 14, 2019, 01:16:59 PM

So there can be a category of people who consider themselves BTC/ETH Maximalists.

I am one of them and we are many in this community, I love these two coins that sometimes i think that I only need these two coins to hodl and I will be ok, but we need to increase our portfolio and not to put all our eggs in one basket, so I still include some coins in my portfolio, but Bitcoin and Ethereum are two coins that makes the bulk of my portfolio.
2123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: To bounty hunters & investors on: December 14, 2019, 12:23:34 PM
New developers are now smarter because they know that investors are no more interested in ICO projects, IEO is the best fundraising tactics now, maybe by 2020 a new type of fundraising will show up
Yes, it could be that in the next year a new method for raising project funds will be born, because project developers will always think to be preferred by investors, so that projects that are built can be successful.
If there is another one that will be created, experts scammers to also exploit that, the community are more wiser than ever, they are not listening to shillers even if these are big names like Mcafee, they study the project if the team are real and there are deceit exist on their platform, i come to think that we have projects already, that these crowdfunding should be stopped.
2124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Decisions for a better life on: December 14, 2019, 11:08:10 AM
We all know that being an addicted gambler is a very tough spot in our life, but what if you need to decide what to choose, your addiction or you family? i.e., the given situation will be that you need to decide on the spot if you want to pursue your "career" in gambling or make a good simple life with your family? what will you choose?

Nobody will choose gambling over a family, if you spend to much time on gambling you will end up in misery, only guy who is out of his mind will choose gambling over his family and there is no such thing as career in gambling, you are going to lose money however you try, only gambling operators can make money on gambling but not a player.
2125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it good to talk about big gains? on: December 14, 2019, 10:31:36 AM
Do you tell others about your big winnings?
Or do you wait for the time to pass and then talk?
Are you bragging about the big winnings or do you want to make a point not to waste your time and money in the casino, but get it already?
Of course it is already known that people like to brag, but is it wise to talk?
In my opinion it is by no means a good idea to talk about big gains, because it can only cause bad things, here are some:
1.Of course, you can be the target of a robbery first.
2. As much as you spend your time and money in the casino, the environment will say that you are addicted and that the gain is nothing.
3. We bring the danger of ourselves and our loved ones, this is in the first place, but these come to the detriment of your safety.
4. It is not good if you plan to have a job and to thrive in it, and your subordinate knows what you are doing.

These are just some of the examples, to hear your opinions, supplement me if I am wrong.

You are absolutely right, and it's never right to talk how much you win, you should be moderate on how you divulge your gains in gambling, we all know that gambling is a risky business but the gain is big and huge, if people find out how big your gains, people will befriend you and lure you to high risk investment and other gambling sites, further giving you risk financially.
2126  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much of your money only needed for gambling and others is for family on: December 13, 2019, 05:02:09 PM
Why it is very important to always have control when gambling and its the number one we should have
  • Many people gamble without thinking and spend all his/her money remember that you spend hours earning that money for your family and also for yourself but our responsibility is bigger
than anything else, because there are times that we for about this things, and forget that we have a family to feed for me its okay to spend some money for gambling but there are rules you
need to control your emotions because i saw people who spend all their money while their children have nothing to eat, bills not settle and at the end of the day they spend their times in the
streets ending is the commit crimes children don't go to school i hope everyone will remember this and be able to help everyone here , what im saying is its okay to gamble but don't compromise
    your families

You're an idiot and a certified addict in gambling, if you do not prioritize your family's expenses more than what you allocate in gambling, your wife can charge you for abusing them, by not giving them their immediate needs, that is why chronic gamblers do not have a family, either they left it for gambling or their family left him for failure to provide the family's need.
2127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is for you scam project and what is for you good project? on: December 13, 2019, 02:56:14 PM
Guys we are talking a lot of times about "this project is scam" or "this project is amazing and soon moon" but sometimes scam project making a lot of x but amazing project making -90%. So what is for you good project? Which team and project is fake but making xx or team and project real but price making -90% and we should hold?

Sometimes projects that are to good to be true are not real project, I'm tired of projects telling investors, that they are the new Bitcoin or they are the next big thing, of course people are on the look for the next big thing, who would want to be an early bird investors to a projects that has a potential to be in profit hundred of times, if a projects shows some sign of faking something or giving to many excuses when confronted, be sure to dig deep something is hidden here.
2128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Projects that failed to keep their promise in 2019 on: December 13, 2019, 01:46:22 PM
Here are some projects that get listed on exchanges but ignore bounty hunters and airdroppers like they don't exists

1. Sparkpoint
2. Decimated
3. Nestree
4. Sero
Etc.

Any one has a solution to make this stop? if developers can't keep their promises even when they raise fund successful why needing how help to create awareness then?

You should add the link to their announcement thread, this thread is better place in the scam section, because they are scamming both the bounty hunters and airdroppers, if this is posted or moved to scam sections investors and traders will take notice and ignore these coins/tokens when they are looking for coins/tokens to add to their portfolio.
2129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What matters most to online casinos? on: December 13, 2019, 11:00:19 AM
I've been running a topic for the last few days, what attracts most people to online casino and what keeps them?
In my opinion, the most important indicator is the financial situation, as much as you got lost.
If it's not a tense background, it's very important to me that the background is calm and relaxes me.
Your opinion.

Reputation is very important, it includes everything fast support, reliable deposit and withdrawal people will not have second thought playing on this kind of platform if there are no complaints about the deposit and withdrawal and there are no lags on the server to I experienced lag in the server on some online casinos I've played.
2130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever on: December 13, 2019, 01:19:44 AM
100% FREE 100% guaranteed gambling strategy 100% no-loss ever:

Don't gamble.

That's it. You'll never have a losing bet if you don't gamble.

You are definitely right and this is highly recommended to people who should stop from gambling because they are losing  lots of money and time, they definitely have to stop or they are going to be wrecked, but not for those people who goes to gambling just to have some fun, and don't care if they lose or win, they have bet on money they can afford to lose.
2131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What's really good have you received from the results of the gambling bounty on: December 12, 2019, 11:12:33 PM
Because the results of this year's bounty are decreasing, even many of the bounty hunters do not earning from bounties, do many of you who don't usually take part in the bounty gambling, now move to bounty gambling to remain earning from the bounty, because I saw in this forum bounty gambling still pay well and continue to live, bounty gambling is an alternative to earning from bounty.
And does anyone of you make income to become from the bounties gambling to fulfill your daily life?
Now that there is a Cryptotalk bounty campaign things are ok now but if the campaign is over and there is an announcement that the campaign is finally over I would love to join a gambling site more than ICO campaign, obviously because of the weekly payout, compared to ICO where it will take months to get your rewards.
2132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What did you learn as a gambler? on: December 12, 2019, 05:21:18 PM
I learn the basic fact, that no one can beat the house edge you can beat him sometimes but most of the time the house will always comeback to beat you, now if you put more time and money on the gambling table chances are you will not be putting something in the family's table, so better choose your priority.
2133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Conor McGregor vs. Donald Cerrone [JAN 2020] Discussion on: December 12, 2019, 04:50:45 PM
At this point Connor McGregor isn't choosing who his fighting anymore he just wants to face someone in yhe ring just to earn that UFC money. I'm seeing a routine here that he only comes out of retirement and use his “fame” to still earn that big money he will get. Donald Cerrone isn't even on par with the MMA fighters McGregor has previously fought so I think it is safe to say McGregor here will tale the W back home, Cerrone also had loss two matches straight both of which are TKOs

He just want to get into the win again, because two of his biggest fight ended in stoppage, and were all bad losses, with Cerrone, he can make a big comeback by knocking him out, but what if Cerrone knocks him out and we have an upset, that will the end for Connor, so this is a must win for him the pressure is on Connor.
2134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some ICOs have different 'team location' and 'place of registration'? on: December 12, 2019, 04:44:52 AM
Hello. I have been viewing ICO projects on third-party platforms such as ICObench.com and Coingecko.com. I find that some ICO projects have different 'team location' and 'place of registration'. For example, a project may be labeled with 'Cayman Islands' but you can tell from their official websites that the main team members (office) are in somewhere else, say, the US or whatever.
So why is that? Is it because of the considerations on ICO regulations? Huh

This kind of set up is bad for any project, they don't know each other, they only met through online communication and they work on IOU or promises, a real team bonded and communicate personally so they can get know if the team that is part of the team really deserves to be part of the team and they have the real expertise that deserves to be a place in the team, they should get together at least twice and make a video about their conferences.
2135  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Doers it matter what country you are in for wallet? on: December 12, 2019, 02:24:18 AM
Please forgive me if its a stupid question, I have been away from Crypto for a few years, I live In Canada and I have  not been active and now am getting back to crypto, I use to use Blockchain.com wallet , is that wallet still good? and Does it matter which country I am in for wallet.  I registered with coinsquare  as a platform to buy bitcoins, but I heard  that it can take up to 4 days to  move BTC from there after purchase, is that true, I remember on localbitcoins it used to be much quicker but the price was higher obviously, so is coinsquare the best way to buy bitcoins for Canadians.  what wallet would you recommend for mobile.

Thank you.

This is not a stupid question, it's a valid question for me, and yes regardless on what country you are in you can use popular wallets , desktop and online wallet, Blockchain.com is still good in fact I am using it from my trading, just don't lose the email associated with your blockchain.com account or you will lose all your coins, for the best mobile wallet do check out this article

And I highly recommend that you also do your research.
2136  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: BTM NEXUS ATM help on: December 12, 2019, 01:34:01 AM
Hello, not sure if this is the correct place or not, if not some helpfull mod put me in the correct place.
Anyhow, Im located in Indiana, here regionally we have BTM Nexus Bitcoin ATM's at our local mall. Ive previously used this to recieve about 30 USD in BTC mid november (after a 10$ fee).
So fast forward to friday, and i deposited 100$ USD into the machine only for it to error, Give me a transaction ID and then tell me to call customer support.
I call customer support, (automated line, music plays instead of ring) and it goes to a recorded message saying they cannot take your call, leave a message. i called multiple times, then visited their website, Total garbage... i write a support request just for it to be said it will be responded within 48 hours.
okay i agree its been throughout the weekend, so if they end up contacting me i will update, this is not only a call for help me get my 100$ back, but to shame this company for HORRID customer service, and hope NOONE waste their money with this trash can of a service.

If anyone can point me in a direction of further action please endow me with such knowledge.

Thanks crypto community, and hello to all.

Bitcoin ATM should not worked this way, because it's a new technology and we are competing with fiat for a share of the ATM industry, that is a horrible service for a  Bitcoin ATM support should be 24/7 to address all the issues that may arise, I was thinking of using a Bitcoin ATM here in our locality but after reading this, I would have to check if they offer a fast support.
2137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: {Boxing}: Inoue vs. Dasmarinas Mandatory Title Fight Ordered By IBF on: December 11, 2019, 06:08:48 PM
This thread should be locked for now, until the official announcement, or create another thread for this fight, and my observation about this up and coming fight, Dasmarinas is good but not enough to beat Inoue, in terms of speed and power, Dasmarinas is slow compared to Inoue but since he has a knock out punch he is still has a big chance.
2138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warning for newbies on: December 11, 2019, 05:42:52 PM
Newbies needs to be prepared for this coming new year, scammers will try to take advantage of that year because bitcoin halving is already dropping the HYPE in crypto space  already, Learn to do research better, not all bad results in crypto are because a project failed, mostly are because of lack of research, with no good research you can easily fall for scam projects.

1) Do better research on new projects before promoting them or investing a penny on them

2) Visit scam accusation thread on the forum time to time, it will safe you a lot too

3) If you you have to invest always invest what you can afford to lose.

I recommend to newbies that they don't invest in a new coin, since halving is coming it's preferable to invest coins that has proven their worth in the market, do not waste your time to these new coins that, some of these we don not know if it will generate support since majority of them are just imitation of the past similar projects in the past, two examples of these are exchange and green energy type of projects.
2139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can do Governements against Satoshi ? on: December 11, 2019, 05:05:45 PM
If He Forget everything on purpose ?  Cheesy ( Like The genius for remember everything 10 years later everything he did making something he is alone able to see them ).

He know governements probably want to kill him or want him to work for them so he take the risk to be forgotten forever as a legend.

Imagine what he was able to do in 2008 already, when no one in world have the power to change the world, he was the one to believe he was able to start the revolution alone and change entire world by himself.

Nothing, he predicted everything perfectly, he will comeback one day i think he is already back but to crazy like 10 years ago no one believe him already.

It's that no one will him anymore when he decides, to comeback it's just that to many people have come before him are all fake people who wants to create another project to rival Bitcoin, imagine your own creation has made a revolution but instead of supporting it, you create another one to rival your own creation, many more Faketoshis will come as Bitcoin is becoming a popular store of value.
2140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 10 Reasons Why Bitcoin Is Strong Today And Will Continue To Grow on: December 11, 2019, 01:47:45 PM
No one knows for sure (with any degree of certainty) what the future holds for bitcoin. Having said that, most will agree that the future is bright.

Here are 10 reasons why Bitcoin is strong today and will continue to grow:

1. Bitcoin introduced blockchain technology for the rest of the world to utilize.
2. Bitcoin itself is a protocol that will continually evolve.
3. Acceptance (Bitcoin is only 10 years old!)
4. Much of the developed world where payment systems that enable instantaneous person-to-person payment are not available, would love to adopt Bitcoin.
5. Volatility will minimize as the public at large becomes less sensitive to everything the media spews out and as more users adopt it.
6. As larger corporations start offering Bitcoin as a payment alternative, smaller companies waiting in the shadows will jump on the bandwagon.
7. The market capitalization of Bitcoin indicates that the currency is now too big to collapse (and is backed by the trust of its users).
8. The buying process of Bitcoin will be made much simpler than it is at present by exchanges, corporations, and developers.
9. Bitcoin will be featured regularly in the remittance world and by travelers and travel agencies alike.
10. Bitcoin is universal and globally recognized as a store of value.

Agree? Disagree? What your thoughts on the growth of bitcoin now and in the future?

I agree on all you pointed out, number 9 and 10 are still on process we have not yet seen it fully adopted, but once majority of travel agencies and remittance worrld adopted Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency, we will finally realize that Bitcoin will be unstoppable
There are still many people mistook Bitcoin as a Ponzi scheme, we still need our media to push Bitcoin education, this is the one thing that we need to move forward once education has been attained.
