It must be taken into account that what this person did could have a very different reason. Why does everyone immediately begin to think that his actions are explained by belonging to a religion?
Have you ever seen recent converts to any religion other than Islam engaging in terrorist activities? Because I haven't. Not all Muslims may be terrorists, but most of the terrorists are Muslims. That means that the reason lies with Islam itself.

If you want greater returns, then you need to go for HYIPs and other high-risk investments such as Bitcoin.
You can't seriously put HYIP's and Bitcoin in the same category of high risk investment options. Bitcoin offers a long term growth opportunity, which at the same time can function as currency, store of value, hedge, etc. HYIP's are nothing more than pure scams. In that regard, I am quite surprised that you advice people to put their hard earned money into obvious scams. It's a shame. Not all the HYIPs are scams. And I am not advocating anyone to put their hard earned money in to the HYIPs. I have always made my stand clear. IMO, no more than 10% to 20% of the net worth should be allocated to the high-risk investments. And regarding the HYIPs, you need to carefully study them, to determine whether there is an adequate risk of losing your investment.

Russia wants to seize Ukraine. Will not work. Even if the West refuses to help Ukraine, the Russian army simply did not have the strength for it. The entire might of the Russian army, the whole world saw in Syria. The carrier with the engine on the wood and falling aircraft.
Russian army is the second strongest army in the world, while their Ukrainian counterparts would struggle to get included in the top 100 list. If the Russians want, they can invade the whole of Ukraine in a day or two. Be happy that Putin is not in a mood for such an adventure.

I am advocating that every home produced a bit of energy for myself, but it is not beneficial to plant owners, and so it is slowly moving to alternative technologies.
Large-scale electricity production is always the cheaper option (if you take in to account the maintenance and labor costs). That is one of the reasons why the government is not forcing anyone to produce electricity for themselves. I don't know.... may be in the future this scenario will change.

It has been already established that the mainstream media is not capable of gauging the mood of the US voters, as proved by their disastrous opinion polls for the POTUS elections. So even if the media is showing 35% support for Trump, I believe that the real number is somewhere around 45%.
Public opinion showed that the majority of the US population supported Hillary. I have no reason not to trust them. The results of the voting confirmed it. For Hillary Clinton actually voted more Americans. With regard to fraud, if the Russians took part in it to prove it is not possible. America first time faced with such gross interference in the elections and was not ready for this. The opinion polls also showed Hillary leading Trump by 6% to 10% in the rust-belt state of Wisconsin. When the actual results came, Trump won the state by a decent margin. There was no evidence of any sort of voter fraud in Wisconsin.

This is pure rubbish! This guy was fighting for the secular YPG (the Kurdish militia) and he was helping them to defeat the ISIS barbarians. More than 2,000 Brits have traveled to Syria, in order to join the ISIS. The government doesn't have any problem with that. But they are going ballistic after finding that a single guy dared to take on the ISIS.
What exactly is 'pure rubbish' because that's exactly what the article says: Mr Taaki says he spent three and half months fighting with the Kurdish People's Protection Units [YPG] military group and experienced several battles against IS. Or did you just not bother reading? And the UKG would have arrested anyone fighting for ISIS on return and likely wouldn't have bailed them so hardly 'going ballistic'. He was fighting AGAINST the ISIS. Is this that difficult to comprehend? IMO, anyone fighting against the ISIS should be declared as the national hero of the United Kingdom. Instead of that, the government decided to prosecute this guy. And this is the reason why I used the word "rubbish".

a very strange mix of people is it always like this because I haven't seen the candidates for previous years and some of the candidates would make me worried about world's sanity if they appear on the cover. although, we should be used to questioning the world's sanity by now The TIME compiled a low quality list full of repulsive people this time around. Choices such as Schumer and Trump were OK. But what is the point in including all these rappers and the NFL players in this list? Can these people be compared to leaders such as Putin and Duterte?

Well that could also be the reason why KSA was hit harder. From what I remember from people I know, the state subsidize a lot of things there, including utilities like water as well as other stuff, like college. I wonder now, is it the same throughout the Middle East? Coz if not, then that could be one reason KSA is bleeding out more cash. And maybe maintaining the monarchy as well? Or maybe UAE is not so much dependent on oil?
The KSA wastes a lot of money on lavish subsidies, but another burden is the extravagant handouts given to the royal family members. The royal family consists of almost 200,000 members, and each of them receive a fixed monthly salary ranging from $2,000 to $20 million per month. Yikes. UK probably spend less on their royals. 200,000 is just too many! I suppose this would be a problem as years go by. Their population is basically a ticking time bomb. Plenty of young people that they'd have to absorb into the workforce. I heard government-owned employ about half of the population. They can't always count on that, especially if the government is risking running out of money. They can afford to subsidize basic needs for now but that will not last. Sooner or later they'll have to give up their lavish lifestyle or risk the fate of French royals. The native population is not qualified enough to gain decent employment. Also, they have got used to freebies, and most of them are not interested in doing any sort of work. There are rebel voices inside the royal family as well, and this is going to be a major concern for the current Saudi king.

Any death threat or death penalty cannot be justified, it's 21st century and we still look for reasons to make killing one another look better than it is. Perhaps, it will work well eventually, like in Chile, but provided this guy really knows what he's doing. Again, time will tell... Death penalty is perfectly justified against criminals who indulge in pedophilia, rape and murder. It acts as an effective deterrent to violent crime. Look at countries such as South Africa, where death penalty have been repealed recently. The crime rate is sharply up and the people are feeling unsafe.

On the adoption thing, I'm not against it but I'm still worried what will happen to the child when he is growing having two fathers.
I will never support gay adoption. Apart from the fact that gay parents are almost 30 times more likely to sexually abuse their children when compared to the heterosexual parents, research studies have also proven that children of gay foster parents are likely to suffer from bullying and depression.

I would side with Duterte here. The president is imposing the death penalty in his own country, and that too with good intentions. I don't understand why the European Union is bothered so much. Can't they mind their own business and STFU? What a bunch of pansies these EU guys are?

Trying to understand this a bit better, so you're disagreeing because (1) felons don't get to vote and (2) have to pay taxes. Therefore taxation is theft for everyone?
(1) I don't want the felons to vote. Those who commit violent offenses such as rape and murder should be barred from taking part in any democratic exercise. Else there is a risk that they will elect someone who will help them to commit crimes. (2) IMO, everyone should pay taxes. It is not the responsibility of a small part of the population to fund the government.

For a foreigner it's really hard to imagine such thing to happen. It's always been the UK)))
I don't know who feels UKish, but I doubt very many people do. It's a convenient framework and that's about it. You're likely to get an impressively hostile reaction from your UK brethren if you're from a part they don't appreciate. Imagine what will happen if Scotland secedes from the United Kingdom. The UK is a super power (or more reasonably said, an ex-super power). Scotland will be never able to achieve the power and dominance, which is currently wielded by the UK. Also, remember that the UK is a nuclear power.

That is why Dubai is one of the most safest place for investment both in financial, Accommodation and Technology. The fastest police vehicles will enable to arrest criminal and even stop criminal before acting. The whole world should imitate Dubai as they have built something from nothing.
I don't know the living cost there or anything but I kept seeing posts from some of my friends how awesome Dubai is and how it's great to live there. I think some governments would prefer to use that money in something else rather than a car that's a million times to someones payroll. The best thing about Dubai is that they don't have income tax, VAT or capital gains tax. The living expenses are quite reasonable as well. The only thing is that you need to respect the local traditions and customs. After all, it is a Sunni Muslim Arab monarchy.

As for Duterte, you know us Filipinos, we spend a lot of time online despite the crappy and expensive internet we have.
Duterte is quite famous outside the Philippines as well. There is a lot of coverage about him in the mainstream media, although it is mostly negative. From where I live, a lot of people admire him, and anti-drugs campaigners want the government to start similar campaigns in our country as well.

Nothing is ever free. Where would the money to run the service come from? Higher taxes. Then people who don't use it are going to be pissed off.
Public transport is heavily subsidized in many of the countries, as it helps in minimizing the vehicle pollution. If more and more people use public transport instead of individual vehicles, then the government will be able to save quite a lot of money.

The lead will change, as time progresses. And last time, it was the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who won the polls. Donald Trump came second. It is not surprising. All these leaders (Duterte, Putin, Modi, Trump.etc) have been vilified by the mainstream media, and this has provoked a backlash from the normal people. Duterte= is killing citizens to fulfill campaign promise (crackdown on drugs) Modi= is starving citizens to fulfill campaign promise (crackdown on black money) Trump= is dividing citizens to fulfill campaign promises (crackdown of immigration) Putin= Putin. See a pattern? These seem like leaders obsessed with their own rhetoric, at the detriment of the citizens. I disagree with you on all these. Duterte is fulfilling his promises. I don't support the mass-murder of so many people. But there was hardly any other option. Modi stamped out black money through his demonetization exercise. Opinion polls suggest that more than 80% of the Indians supported this measure.

In this poll, Putin's approval rating in this poll is higher than the rating of Trump and it can not hurt. Trump does not fulfill its main promise. When it America will not be great. More than that I fear that it will further weaken America's position .
The position of the United States was weakened the most during 2008 to 2016, when Barack Hussein Obama was the POTUS. His foreign policy was a disaster, and he was responsible for debacles such as the Benghazi attack. I don't think that Trump can perform any worse.
