I don't understand why people such as Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were included in the list.

I will prefer not vote because my believe about voting in things like this is that the voting is just to get an opinion about how popular a candidate is and they already know who is going to win. In addition to that, all names on that list, none has influence me directly to be worthy of my vote for whatever reason that they think they deserve it.

The position of the United States was weakened the most during 2008 to 2016, when Barack Hussein Obama was the POTUS. His foreign policy was a disaster, and he was responsible for debacles such as the Benghazi attack. I don't think that Trump can perform any worse.

I mostly voted for tech leaders like Musk. Many of the other people on the list are American politicians and personalities that half the world probably don't know. As for Duterte, you know us Filipinos, we spend a lot of time online despite the crappy and expensive internet we have.

Duterte is quite famous outside the Philippines as well. There is a lot of coverage about him in the mainstream media, although it is mostly negative. From where I live, a lot of people admire him, and anti-drugs campaigners want the government to start similar campaigns in our country as well.

The TIME compiled a low quality list full of repulsive people this time around. Choices such as Schumer and Trump were OK. But what is the point in including all these rappers and the NFL players in this list? Can these people be compared to leaders such as Putin and Duterte?

It seems that these lists are made up as someone needs it. I do not understand how politics and athletes can be placed side by side and measured in one way. It does not make sense at all. These are generally socially different people from different positions.

Perhaps they base things right now through popularity instead of relevance? I also can't figure out the list here as it pales to the people selection in the previous years

A very strange vote. As Duterte can surpass the popularity of Trump and Putin? I don't believe in that. Might be voting a PR campaign? As Rihanna might be more popular than Trump? I think what these results is nonsense.
