This Forum has a lot of informations about crypto-currencies. Before making a decision it would be better to read as much as you can.
There are many links mentioned by other forum writers too.
All these facts are valuable and brobably are going to help you discriminating the good from the "bad".
Never invest before making your research.
2142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what to do if bitcoin decreases? on: December 16, 2017, 08:40:34 AM
Prices always move up and down.
We all are trading crypto-currencies like in the stock market.
I suppose that with the word decreasing you mean that the price will move downwards and never recover. I don't think it is going to happen.
The price will move up and finally will stabilize. Remember when the price is low go and buy some more.

2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: December 15, 2017, 09:24:23 AM
I believe all of us have made the same mistakes.
The best you could do, as I did, is to make a plan and stick on it (for example when you're gaining, take a percentage of the profits in fiat or buy an other crypto).
I know it is something very difficult especialy if your watching the charts all day long.

I'm extremely depressed about my impatience and persistence.
I'm a stupid man. Fuck myself.
I bought the ETC when its price was 15$, i kept it for three months, including when it down at 9$, I still don't sell, because i believe it. And when ETC rise to 15$. I sold everything and waited it down $ 13 to buy more. But, fuck myself, the next day it rise to fucking 30$, Are you kidding me?
I bought 5000 XRP from May, i still believe it, I bought more yesterday, I bought when its price was 0,00001610sts, and when it down 0,00001558, i afraid BTC up, XRP down. So i sold everything. And... This morning I woke up with a sense of chest not say words.

This is my mistake, definitely like that. I can't blame anyone.
I told myself, "The market is still there. Nothing to hurry"
I don't complain, i post here just relieve stress. I didn't  tell anyone about this, including my wife.
Thank for listening.
2145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is a million dollars possible? on: December 15, 2017, 08:56:39 AM
I believe that getting millionaire just by holding is not possible any more.
The good old days are gone.
You can make a good profit yes it is possible.
If you want to make more money start trading, but it is highly risky and you could lose your money.
2146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What to buy more? on: December 15, 2017, 08:41:54 AM
You can buy some tokens too. They can bring a lot of money in the future.
In any case before buying make your own research and avoid following others opinions before checking the facts of the coin/token you want to buy.
2147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ripple wallet??? on: December 15, 2017, 08:37:27 AM
My opinion is, always the wallets proposed byt he developers of the coin. I believe this is the right way to avoin scam wallet programs, when a wallet is proposed by the coins web-page it is usualy tryed before.
So every time you are searching for a wallet, read first the official webpage.
2148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to claim hardfork coins? on: December 14, 2017, 03:14:12 PM
I have some satoshi in my blockchain wallet. I was wondering how to claim the equivalent amount of coins because of all the Bitcoin hardfork like Bitcoin Diamond, Bitcoin Gold, Bitcoin United, etc.

Thanks in advance.

The steps are the following:
1. Move your coins to a new address.
2. Find a wallet of the forked coin (usually the one proposed by the developers of the forked coin)
3. Insert to this wallet the private keys (you had from the pre forked coin)
4. Spend your coins

Before you do anything it would be better to read this forum for more informations and learn what replay protection means.
2149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Litecoin? on: December 14, 2017, 10:52:02 AM
This is the one million dollar question.
Actualy nobody knows how the price will move and which coins price will move up.
What you can do is to buy coins with good reputation and take a chance at some low priced coins and wait the market to move upward.
2150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What determines prices on: December 14, 2017, 10:43:03 AM
I believe only the traders determine the price.
Let say I have 10000 coins fron the coin named MyCatBob.
If the current price is 1000$ and I sell 1/10th at 900$ the price goes down 100$. Then I sell 1000 more coins at 850 and the price goes down once more. If I have a good volume of coins I can do what I want.
This can happen only in one condition, there are buyers.

If I have a friend Grin and buys my coins, then I can move the price up as much I want, and when the market follows us, we (me and the friend) can sell our coins at a much higher price, and get rid of them.

If the coin is intruduced in the market and people buy and sell with it, that influences the market more because we have need for mor coins.
2151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why people try to create their own coins? on: December 14, 2017, 07:58:45 AM
They are driven by profit.
In the past they were forgering money, today is easier, and they just copy-past others code.
Thanks to them cryptos have bad reputation to the ordinary people.
Money makes the world go round.
2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Worst coins ever. on: December 13, 2017, 06:11:06 PM
I think it is very difficult to find out which coins are ok and which are not. It is very difficult to discriminate. The only way is to read a lot, the infos about the coins, the official web pages, the names of the developers (search them too).
Do they have developed their own wallet? Is there any address or phone for infos or just a email address and nothing else.
All these are difficult but necessary before you spend your money.
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I'm very disappointed with myself. on: December 13, 2017, 04:47:38 PM
Well I think that you did more or less the same I did in the past.
I found out, the hard way, that I am not a good trader, so I become a holder. So I suggest you to do the same I did:
Let say you invest a amount each month. Hold 80-90% of what you are going to buy and the rest 20% do some day trading.
Even I you sold too early you have it. Definately.
2154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 12 000$ to invest on cryptocurrencies on: December 13, 2017, 10:07:20 AM
12000$ is a lot of money to invest.
I would suggest you to split them in more than 3 parts and you could keep a smal part to invest in some tokens too. The cryptocurrency world is very volatile and unpredictable so be careful.
There are many opportunities and this forum is a good start for searching. Do your investigation before you buy.
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What happens to money if exchange gets hacked? on: December 13, 2017, 09:54:12 AM
I think this is in the risk that all of us tacke when buying in the exchanges. One possible solution to eliminate this risk is to activate the two factor verification in case you want to withdraw fiat or money (fiat). All the exchanges offer it. You should also activate it while loging in, and in case you've done it note down the master key in case you lose your android or stops working.
2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is my portfolio for the investment good enough? on: December 13, 2017, 09:46:11 AM
If you dont miss the 5000$ in case you lose them it is all right. The cryptocurrency prices is not always going up so play with money you can afford to lose, and not with your kids college savings.
2157  Local / Ελληνικά (Greek) / Re: [εφορια] συμπληρωση Ε1 με εμβασματα απο btc on: December 12, 2017, 11:14:50 AM

2158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What Should I do as a newbie? on: December 12, 2017, 10:43:35 AM
The only one I suggest you to do is reading. Start reading every topic in this forum, it is a great source of information.
Start making questions, many of us in this forum are willing to help, we were newbies too and we were helped by others.
If you decide to buy some alts think it twice before making any decision and never invest more money than you afford to lose.
2159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Quantum computer will kill bitcoin on: December 12, 2017, 09:47:23 AM
I've heard once Antonopoulos saying that in case of the quantum computers appear, the decryption code can be upgrated (I suppose to something more difficult even for those computers). I believe that he's right and so the danger should be minimal.
2160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that atl-coins are still "alt"? on: December 12, 2017, 09:16:34 AM
I think that bitcoiners will always call all other coins alt(ernative)s. That means nothing. Each coin was made for different reasons and I think that they can coexit. Not all of them only those who have a good developer team (+ vision) and aren't just copies of others.
