2141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you optimistic about Ripple? on: January 20, 2018, 04:48:02 AM
I am thinking to invest in Ripple, and i think it is good choice when you have no much money, what  do you think?
You are already late to the party. Why didn't you buy in when its price hovered around $0.20-26 cents last year. I believe anyone who goes in now may be buying a dump. Again, for me ripple isn't much of a coin to invest in because of its huge supply. The supply in billions won't allow price fly. Yes, I know it's a coin for the banking industry but believe me once part of the essence coin is burnt, price will soar out of reach overnight.
2142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO to Invest on: January 19, 2018, 08:11:15 PM
Huh Which is the most promising upcoming ICO in your opinion? Specially when crypto market is down these days?
Look down at my signature for a promising coin for the Circlenet ico. No, it is not really because I am wearing the tag that I am giving it this plug but because it is a promising project. The token sales begin on Jan 21. So, hurry up.
2143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES APART FROM BITCOIN on: January 19, 2018, 04:26:05 PM
HOW CAN I INVEST IN OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES. ACTUALLY I AM NEW TO CRYPTO WORLD SO I AM TOTALLY UNAWARE OF OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCIES EXCEPT BITCOIN...ALSO THE PRICE OF BITCOIN IS VERY HIGH...SO IS THERE ANY OTHER CRYPTOCURRENCY TO INVEST? A BIT CHEAPER THAN BITCOIN?
The cap makes your post hard to read. Desist from such a style of writing.

There are over 1300 cryptocurrencies now with some worth a buy and others just purely worthless and shitcoins. You can check this up on www.coinmarketcap.com. There also you will find a list of exchanges where these coins are sold and bought. This is an easy way to start. OP, while investing, look for coins in the list of 1-100 on the chart and with high marketcap.

2144  Economy / Economics / Re: what is the predicted value for BTC in end of 2018?????? on: January 19, 2018, 02:44:48 PM
In early 2017, the prediction for bitcoin price was around $2,000. It shifted to $5,000 until analysts saw how speedily the trend turned bullish and decided to peg their forecast as high as $25,000. It nearly got to that level, at least $20,000+ ATH wasn't bad. Now, in this 2018 I guess many will also talk high in the range of $30k ish. This won't be bad either if anyone talks that way. After all, it costs nothing to make predictions. However, newbies should note that all predictions should be handled with research.
2145  Economy / Economics / Re: GARBAGE EVERYWHERE on: January 15, 2018, 11:13:31 PM
Instead, why not create a coin that converts garbage to Waste Energy just like there's for solar energy. The idea of having garbage assembled at a centralized place may look exciting but it shouldn't be encouraged because of the inherent health hazard it may bring. Creating a coin for this purpose is already justifying another shitcoin.
2146  Economy / Economics / Re: IBOs instead of ICOs? on: January 15, 2018, 10:35:45 PM
Both concepts are not the same. While ICO stands to push a project to the market as a way of offering the project business to the public and investors alike, the IBO is the reward given out to participants or posters as bounties. SMH...Both are not the same, simple.
2147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Get Rid Of Bitcoins ? on: January 15, 2018, 04:54:41 AM
Etherum is never an alternative to bitcoin. It doesn't have much ability of ROI like the bitcoin. However, you can break up your bitcoin investment and place some buying ether. But whatever you do, don't ever quit bitcoin for ether if you must invest.
2148  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ☺→[ANN]←☺★ALLION★ ★∞ NEW ANN SOON! ∞ ALL ← on: January 13, 2018, 06:35:58 PM
FYI, Allion has been delisted at Novaexchange.
Is Novaexchange still operational? Didn't we read in the news late last year of how the exchange went under? Based on that, it makes no sense if a coin is delisted on Nova or not.
2149  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][AirDrop][ICO] BitcoinWhite [Official] on: January 11, 2018, 03:19:06 PM
I am in great expectation of what value and effect BTW will have on the entire crypto space. I treasure the little coins I got through signature campaign and I await its release four weeks from now. Ride on dev!
2150  Economy / Services / Re: ⭕ ⭕ ⭕ julerz12 Campaign Management Service ⭕⭕⭕ on: January 11, 2018, 12:36:54 PM
I have been in a campaign managed by you and it was a huge success especially the BTW campaign. I hope to be in more campaigns you manage in the future. I recommend the OP to anyone wishing to have a smooth ico campaign.
2151  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Things You Want To Change In Bitcoin? on: January 10, 2018, 05:48:20 AM
For sure bitcoin had cone to say with all its sister cryptos. However, there are a few things I would like to see changed and this basically has to do with the way transactions are conducted and the speed of its execution. This is the big barrier bitcoin has.
2152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Doge - Hold or dump ? on: January 09, 2018, 08:10:37 PM
Hi,

I have some Dogecoins. I read it hit 2 billion market cap. I am a newbie . a friend suggested that i dump it and buy reddcoin.

experts please suggest.
It is a bad choice to dump it now. Can't you see the recent rise it has recorded? Mind you, new crypto investors are buying into coins with low price and pumping them up. Soon, doges will get its fair share and hodlers will smile. So, I say to you "hodl"
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Help on Myetherwallet on: January 08, 2018, 06:57:47 PM
I have taken a bit of time to search here on any thread detailing how to set up MEW but without any success. I need an erc20 enabled wallet for ICO tokens and myetherwallet tops the list of mentions. Kindly point me on how to go about it and the genuine link to avoid phishing sites, anyone?
2154  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum charged 0.002BTC "Additional fee" on: January 08, 2018, 04:56:26 PM
So, even with the latest electrum vulnerability we still get to be slaughtered for using its services. Check warning here above...Critical vulnerablity in Electrum; SHUT DOWN ELECTRUM IMMEDIATELY and upgrade. Other clients are fine.

2155  Economy / Economics / Re: Is Bitcoin Money or Currency on: January 08, 2018, 07:48:13 AM
Both definitions may stand but what matters is the use bitcoin is put to. To this effect, bitcoin is a means of payment and exchange. It pays bills and has made many fantastically wealthy within a space of a few years. So, bitcoin is money and currency and asset rolled together.
2156  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-01-06] Local Bitcoin Meetups Are Booming Worldwide on: January 08, 2018, 02:20:39 AM
I have searched the net (even at this time of phishing sites) for a Sahara African bitcoin meet up but I haven't been successful. Can anyone here link me up, please?
2157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it a bubble or just new money?? on: January 07, 2018, 08:41:33 PM
The crypto industry has long passed this phase of whether it is a bubble or not. Every close watcher of this industry knows that cryptocurrency has come to stay and it is subject to the dynamics of supply and demand. Therefore, price fluctuations, either uptrend or downtrend, are highly welcomed.
2158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO vs IPO ? on: January 06, 2018, 06:45:08 AM
Are ICOs the same thing as IPO ?  Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided Undecided
ICO means Initial Coin Offering while IPO means Initial Private Offering. The first is used in crypto field while the latter (I guess) is stock related. OP, you may want to google all that to expand your horizon better.
2159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: telegram is coming to blockchain too on: January 02, 2018, 07:07:28 PM
Going to the blockchain would be a nice one.  Honestly, telegram is underrated even though it is a veritable tool for most progressive companies. It is far better than WhatsApp. It should adopt the blockchain technology speedily.
2160  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will we see Bitcoin fall in 2018? on: January 02, 2018, 11:11:38 AM
Due to Ripples recent INSANE bull run, I have been seeing SO many FUD posts about how "Bitcoin is over" "Bitcoin will fail in 2018" and whatever other titles people can construe and conjure up to make people scared or sell off their position. It has been really irritating me so I decided to make a video about it, let me know your thoughts and happy New Year!

Link : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G0EFSb1ZwKg
It is a mere FUD for all I care. Bitcoin still has a long way before it slows down to allow other coins overtake it. It may have issues of delayed transactions and all that but it isn't going to lose steam easily. And who is going to compare ripples with bitcoin? With its billion supply, ripples has a long way to go before hitting the $10 price level let alone $100, or $1k.
