Ah, yes so your situation is a bit different. I take "order" to mean it's paid for and your awaiting delivery otherwise to me it's just an inquiry or request. In either case I bet they'll sort it out.

thanks, yea it was as special order.

I received my SSD from jorjito25 a week ago, its legit and working great...
just an update. received my ssd safe and sound and very quickly. Thanks!

Thanks for these words  Smiley

are you open and replying to PM's yet?

thanks!

Yes, we are open but still stuck with our orders, hence the lack of update. We will get your stuff, we always do, but with the current situation I can't give you a date. All I can say is that we "had" your order in town twice but they have been return to sender as my partner has to deal with a funeral out of town.

When I know more I will update you, but if I were you I wouldn't "wait" for it the coming days. Sorry!

We do have problems at the moment, but OP will likely be updated tomorrow with some new goods  Wink

BTW, at what realistic prices would the 2TB and 1TB SSDs be attractive buys? I think they are low enough but it's still some money to pay. Let me know and I'll see what we can do  Smiley

Thanks!

so dont wait on an order from weeks ago..got it.

thanks!

What they mean is don't stalk the mailman daily expecting it to arrive any minute now, it's going to be a bit yet. You sent the funds to escrow right? There's nothing to worry about and if you are truly concerned cancel your order and get your money back.

(Escrow doesn't mean nothing to worry, we just saw that wit master-p but you know what I mean)

sorry , i think he means don't wait for the order i asked for, as it cant be put together at this time......no funds sent, although am ready and have escrow at hand.

thanks for the speculation Smiley

it's cool as it wasn't a stock item request, but was told it could be gotten.  (wish list?) and "All I can say is that we "had" your order in town twice but they have been return to sender as my partner has to deal with a funeral out of town.
"

seems this user was referring to some other post: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1316222.new#new

not my username.

I'd advise any scam accusations to be more thorough before calling a trusted member a scammer.

thanks!

@ Scam_Buster  I would expect you to revise your post.

thanks!
2147  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: buckrodgers is a scammer on: January 14, 2016, 05:37:25 PM
Just wanted to notify anyone else out there dealing with someone by the name of "buckrodgers" that he is a scammer.

I agreed to purchase a KNC Titan Batch 2 from him for 5.05 BTC, plus OGNasty escrow fee. Some how I was redirected to an outside website with the same name look and feel of OGNastys ANN thread and Bitcointalk forum, but contained a different payment address which I was unaware of at the time. After payment I went to post in OGNasty's thread and the link was now dead.

www.bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=303281
I was sent the above link which routed me to the below website that is now dead
http://bitcointalkboard24.pixub.com/

I just started mining mid November and 5.05 BTC was all I had from my mining efforts and buying Bitcoin with what little FIAT I had leftover from my paychecks, so this has really discouraged me from continuing to mine. I'm just venting now but wanted to make everyone aware so they could learn from my mistakes.

Here is the transaction information:

Status: 8 confirmations, broadcast through 17 nodes
Date: 1/5/2016 12:01
To: Ognasty Escrow 16f496WxdjtwGj1Tn8yBxVwZengZFLE4fj
Debit: -5.10050000 BTC
Transaction fee: -0.00030026 BTC
Net amount: -5.10080026 BTC
Transaction ID: b4eff59e8d2482382f6caf249e7fff36bda121b326e5191b611a9f27c7ce0a18-000

note that this name is not my account, please dont accuse me of scamming...thanks!

2149  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTB] SD Card on: January 14, 2016, 01:32:35 PM
I'm looking for a relatively inexpensive SD card, but I want it to be a minimum of Class 10 as it needs to have decent speed. Size isn't terribly important as long as it's a minimum of 8GBs. Must be a major name brand. (SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston, etc.) And it must be RaspPi compatible.

You can buy a 32GB Class 10 Micro SD card with adapter at Microcenter on sale for $7.99 (I bought a few there yesterday) and they are compatible with the Pi's according to the Raspberry Pi compatibility list. They are listed @ $14.99 usually (i think)

I wanted the 16GB ones, but they were out of stock, so I went for the 32GB ones.

Thanks!
