Should I even bother?

Last I remember this was a fight between who knew the most.

That being said Coinographic took care of the matter but,
should one feel confident enought to spend time working on this?

or should I not bother at all?

Please post identification information on the blockchain.

Why should they? Why do you think you need to ask for that information?

He is about to tell us who Satoshi is........

LOL!

Don't bother bro.
The kid didn't get it yet.
2144  Other / Meta / Re: Who are the moderators of this website? on: October 26, 2014, 05:07:02 PM
I think there are noobs on here making completely incoherent topics just to increase the post count :S

I only have like 50 posts. Is there a payment structure for post-count?

I posted 40 times. Why did I not receive payment?

You DON'T receive payment in the way you think you do.

You receive by deceive........  (deception).

Not saying that this is what you are doing just trying to explain how most scammers make money here.....

That's all Smiley

I wish we had a i-Beer tip here so that I can tip you Smiley

Needless to say anything else....

Theymos' information is public already.

I think there is no image of theymos in public domain. We only know his real name that he voluntarily revealed.

Theymos' information is public already.

In a non-deletable and non-modifiable place?

Mine is in plain text albeit hex format on the blockchain.

I understand u r indirectly trying to promote your service. This is not the way !!!

Theymos is OK, not the sexiest guy but then again I am a guy and the ONLY person I MIGHT think of even coming close to me as sexy enough is Johnny Depp.
So I do not think I am the person to jusdge for looks.

None the less, Theymos is MORE legit that you might think.

You DO realize that in EVERY forum here theres a small line on the top saying who the mods are right?
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which of these bitcoin units do you NOT want to use? on: October 26, 2014, 03:30:53 PM
Hi guys,

I have NO PROBLEM using ANY of the mentioned BTC units,
so if you DO NOT wanna use yours feel free to send it to me  Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

PS: WTF is with posts like this?

If you have trouble understanding what YOU have at hand use this:

var currentPrice:Number = x; // where x means the return value of your exchange API*

var coinsToSell:Number = o; // where o means what you want to sell

function whatsThePrice(x:Number, o:Number):Number{

    // the price is:
   var result:Number;

   result = o*x;

   return result;

}

If the above is too hard to understand then:
If you wanna sell 0.23555489BTC and the price now is 480$ let's say you get:   0.23555489 * 480 = $113.066 (rounded)

So what you are asking (IF NOT ALREADY) is very easily implemented in any software.

*the exchange value depends on your exchange.

EDIT: In fact the above function will work with: C, C++, Java, JS, AS and some others that I am probably not aware of.

What else do you want?

Do note that some languages prefer the term "double", bu tthe principle is the same Smiley

EDIT 2: Sorry, I was just asked in PM how does my code work, so I thought I post here just in case anyone else wants to know.

You are basically asking the function to perform the calculation for you:

example: I have 3 BTC for sale and want a good price

heres how it goes (simple):
I first receive the current going price from my exchange - my case Bitstamp - for example reasons lets say I got a return of $383.
If that is the price I want I send a call function with:

var whatIgetNow:Number = whatsThePrice(3, 383); // normally BOTH numbers would have been replaced by variables according to schedule)

the return value would be: $1149     -   3*383 = 1149

That is the simple use for it, however you could expand it to a bot if you wanted to....

example:

if(x==500){

//sell with profit

}else{
//HODL!!!!

}

I could easily say DO NOT sell if under this much by going:

if(x<250){

//HODL!

}else{

//it's all good for trading IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING!!!!!

}

There is much more you can do with it, my question is that WHY do people spend more time whining about things than getting things done?

PS: To all the "gurus" out there, this is just an example of VERY simple ways of getting things done  Kiss
So, yeah I know, no need for you to say anything  Wink
2149  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF Price? Big move in a short time. BTC Whale is here again...(for buying) on: October 26, 2014, 02:48:07 PM
@S4VV4S

Lots of Americans here so well done for realising I'm a Liverpool fan lol.

My BTC story is I was advised by a very, very rich client to invest in BTC & to just hoard them because it will be huge one day.

I've got 14 BTC now & I intend to hoard them in the desperate hope that one day it'll make me a tidy sum.

I don't spend them, they're all in cold storage just waiting & hoping.

I am not American bro Smiley
In fact not even close......

Your boy gave you the right advice in my oppinion.

Hold, but do use some (not much) now and then to drive the demand upwards.
If you say you have 14 BTC - use 2 of them in an in and out situation.
Whatever you can buy with BTC do so then get that BTC back.
(basically replenish your coins with new ones, doesn't matter how much)

That will help drive the price up for your coins Smiley

PS: 14BTC is a shit load more than MOST of the members here have.
Keep that in mind and keep them SAFE!
Use multiple wallets Wink

2150  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF Price? Big move in a short time. BTC Whale is here again...(for buying) on: October 26, 2014, 02:36:21 PM
I've bought heavily over the last 6 months & am currently at a masive loss tbh but it'd be nice to get upto somewhere near 400 GBP so on average I'm even.

Dont sell all as soon as u break even at 400 GBP. Remember Tim Draper is awaiting 900 USD for 3000 BTC. HOLD IT !!!

So Tim is waiting to dump 3000BTC when the price hits 900$?

And that is a good thing because?.........

That being said, Liverpool Fan don't listen to this guy.
In fact you shouldn't have listentened to the guy that got you in for that price to begin with.
But since you did get in for that price then you know that selling below that price is a loss right?

Did the person that get you in advise you NOT to spend more than you can afford to lose?

If he/she did and you actually understood that then you would knw that you should hold for now Smiley

This is probably the funniest thing I came across while playing this game:  FFS Luke-Jr leave the blockchain alone!

What's even funnier is that this is found in only the 5th!!!!! block in the blockchain.

God damnit Luke you sure are famous boy!!!!!!

2152  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: RushWallet 2 Bitcoin Puzzle on: October 26, 2014, 01:33:19 PM
the 1GSh wallet u just posted has 5.5 btc in it.did u link a wrong one maybe?

oh now i get it, its the wallet where all the others came from.yeah the remaining balance would be fucking cool.
but i think OP is drifting away from "u have to watch the video" because without the last clue we would not have come to the audio morse code.or we are missing a piece in the video

Sorry for the late reply, I am posting everything from my phone today (which is why I can only throw ideas - which are not properly worked on)

Don't forget that the last clue was for wallet 31.

The rest of the wallets are still in the video.

Wallet 30 (the big one) still hides somewhere in the whitepaper.

PS: Probably irrelevant but the whole thing for "ideal money" starts from the moment Printed Money (IOUs) came to play......
Just rumbling here.....
I am not in front of my pc for proper research so please bare with my silly ideas Smiley

2153  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF Price? Big move in a short time. BTC Whale is here again...(for buying) on: October 26, 2014, 01:03:37 PM
that was a sign from satoshi. iam sure.

Indeed it was --->  7NdRfKkWywoJpL55jcFzkgqFLtwn9cuP8kXpLmaR8dh8hcT7h72QXJs       Grin

That being said, Christmas is nearing and the last 3 years of bitcoin history shows good prices for BTC around Crhistmas time Wink
2154  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: RushWallet 2 Bitcoin Puzzle on: October 26, 2014, 12:20:11 PM
how do u know this? do we even know how much is in the 31st wallet?

The 31st wallet is probably 0.025 BTC

https://blockchain.info/address/1GShq18eb4V6uBtqgwxkmuPTUHCtyBcNYA

Theres only 1 wallet with 1 BTC and the rest follow procedure - 0.05 - 0.15

Unless theres more than 31 wallets and the 32nd contains the remaining amount of the above address.

EDIT: Wouldn't that be fuckin cool?  Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked Shocked
2155  Economy / Speculation / Re: WTF Price? Big move in a short time. BTC Whale is here again...(for buying) on: October 26, 2014, 11:35:17 AM
Don't get too excited. It's just a bug in the coindesk BPI.

Here: http://www.coindesk.com/price/

Check ALL exchanges and you will see that the only one reporting higher price is coindesk BPI.

EDIT: Tick all the boxes and hit update chart Wink

Also guys, starts with P ends with M.
It all started from a Protocol.
Don't know what the M could be - mechanism? money?

Sorry I know this is not much help but like I said I can't really work on this today again  Undecided

Deciphered the sound cloud file:

 T I  A UD T DIMCIATDRL THERE ARE MORE THAN 30 BRAINWALLETS. YOU CAN FIND THE 31ST BRAINWALLET WHERE IT ALL STARTED. IN THE STARTOF THE THE BEGINNING. STARTS WITH PAPA END WITH MIKE. K3R3Y0P1T VEN EU

I translate it to:

"DIMCIATDRAI THERE ARE MORE THAN 30 BRAINWALLETS. YOU CAN FIND THE 31ST BRAINWALLET WHERE IT ALL STARTED. IN THE STARTOF THE THE BEGINNING. STARTS WITH PAPA END WITH MIKE. K3R3Y0P1T"

With errors (typos?) and everything.

Starts with papa (p) ends with mike (m).
Satoshi's paper started it all.
Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System

Interesting, but you are not quite right. The title of the whitepaper was: "Bitcoin: A Peer-to-Peer Electronic Cash System". See https://bitcoin.org/bitcoin.pdf.

Also, Satoshis first email to the cryptography mailing list had the subject: "Bitcoin P2P e-cash paper". See https://www.mail-archive.com/cryptography@metzdowd.com/msg09959.html

It seems you are onto something with the NATO alphabet, though.

Unfortunately, I do not have time to play with this again  Undecided
It's a shame coz it just started to get more interesting.

None the less I will leave this here for you guys to have fun with:
31ST BRAINWALLET WHERE IT ALL STARTED. IN THE STARTOF THE THE BEGINNING. STARTS WITH PAPA END WITH MIKE.

Which long code starting with 9?

I think its this one:

Code:
9e]IW8lnJN;J[88U316;JA!c:,>1Q9LViK;Jnrr;e+2A5m&]:24`D9/(-@=>3p(9km[F9m UnV9JCQC<,?Js;gE:=:fTe8A6)E>:2*.=<^g.K>"2XO;,pL`6r@lA:If2E;gE::<-i2'@73C q9PS3!=$q%F9iP:_=_]fJ:2+B]9NXo"9mL5':fLt=>'a=1=Apqd9h0/4@mj1<<(9b=[P&e@ r+Iu;-.OY:O+oW9e^*&?Q#6Ypsm=D^r7<RZ,<e3^v9n3i^< p="">

Yep, now that we know what 5iCY7nBCpvYbMENLnKjJchGpR54GWjKUvuZbb43aoL65U3465GFBS1RJFKJzEC5A58 means (though, I still don't know how it was decrypted), someone needs to decrypt that, too.

B58Check -> text

As for the 9e code I have no clue yet and no time to play with it :/

In the video it tells you to "VIEW SOURCE CODE"!

Hmm... I saw that but I think it isn't a big clue.

   ~~MZ~~

Go to kryptokit.com and view the page source (scroll all the way to the bottom) Wink

In the beginning it says DIMCIATDRAI. If you take every second letter starting from the first you get, DMITRI with the left over words ICADA. Does anybody know what it means?

Hmm, I am guessing it refers to CICADA 3301   ---> K3R3Y0P1T
But why would it refer to CICADA 3301 Games?

Beat you by about a minute and a half. Wink

Actually, I saw the 3301 and suspected this awhile ago, but the ICADA comment above clinched it for me. No clue what it means though.

Indeed you did Smiley

I think it means that we need to get more "technical".
There's a wallet hidden in the whitepaper - we knew that from before - now we know that we need to "extract" it from the whitepaper.
