Germany seems to be the best country to handle this situaiton, they have always been known as teh machine people who are quite good at basically everything they do. At the end of the day they are the only people who knows what the situation is and we have no idea what the situation is, so if they think that it is quite normal to come back than there is nothing we can do but respect it.
We should also maybe let this happen to see what will happen? I mean I know that is not a favorite thing to say right now because there could be something bad in the end with a player get corona from another and spreading etc etc, however if that doesn't happen and they actually find a way to continue without any issue, that could be example to every other league in the world as well.
When I was in School I have one teacher and he spent few years in Germany he was really amazed by their skills because he give us many tips about many things and mostly talk about best things he obtain from them which works really great for us I am also very inspired by them I am feeling if they are doing something good then surely they can manage all things as they are plaing because they have ability and they are more then machines for world. |

Sub-continent is filled with Stupid peoples be it India or Pakistan both are same in this manner, Its the poor people who gets the heat always and get rekt. That is the situation globally, you cannot pin point the level of stupidity to a certain geographical location , the situation of poor people is the same globally and they are the ones that will suffer the most, even during this lockdown they are the worst affected people because majority live for daily wages and with the situation getting worse how they are going to survive is a big question. I am sad about Afghanistan. There are millions of cricket fans there. Because of the security situation, the cricket board has moved the home matches to India and therefore 99.99% of the natives can't watch their team in action. What happened in Pakistan is very encouraging. The security situation has improved there and teams such as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are touring that country. I hope that the same can happen with Afghanistan as well. The situation in Afghanistan is different and we cannot expect things to be different any time soon, even the US was not able to control the Taliban and with that the case the idea of some country touring Afghanistan is out of the picture. @Clement Kaliyar you are right poor peoples suffering very badly due to this locked down today I have really frustrated day as one person near to me commit suicide as he fail to bring food for his kids really feeling bad for him and family but cannot do any thing as officials doing all things in media and in practical they fail to give any positive way for poor peoples its almost 14 days and we have news that this will go for more 2 weeks mean many causalties are in line really worst days of life right now. |

The DFL and its members have agreed to lower the minimum age for Bundesliga players to 16 (was 16.5 before) starting with 2020/2021 season. This is pretty interesting, because Dortmund (and they filed the request) has a superstar in the making in their youth team, who would be allowed to play in Bundesliga from November 2020 on then. Youssoufa Moukoko is crushing all records in the youth leagues for some time, that dude is a monster. The transition to Bundesliga is hard for every young player, but I can't wait to see him play with the big boys. Whether it will be deposited to any covid-19 relief funds or they will be the savings for the respective cricket boards ? Also i believe players voluntarily gives their part of salary to gain the fame.
I really doubt whether the reduction in salary will be used anywhere else. First of all, there is a huge revenue loss for all of the major cricket boards as a result of cancellation and postponement of the tournaments. So there is a sharp decline in the revenue for starters. And this cut in revenue will be reflected in the salaries of the players as well. It's not like the boards are earning good amounts and not passing on the benefits to the players. This season is going to be very tough for many young players as we have dozens of players those spend mostly these days in England counties and leagues for good salaries but its now announcesd this season is going to be cancelled and these players are suffering badly even many big boards also have troubles and now in talk with players for cut of salaries. |

To imagine that a country would kill its own population for money is very bizarre. This virus in my opinion is more linked to a lack of social structure than to an economic plan.
I think that too but there are people are fighting about it and everyday new information coming in light and it's making it more complicated. Right now no one can provide any solide information about his all because we have really conspriancy behind this all but in near future all will appear and then world will watch what happen because I watch few videos which are saying this all done by uncle sam but we have no solide proof about this best thing stay home stay safe. |

I don't think the sites that give / predict the results of football games work much, I think the best strategy is to follow the performances of the teams closely, games won, player shape, injuries...
But still these all are not doing good as many wired results happen this year in football matches specially in English Premier League as most of punters have big loses instead of other leagues good thing do some work and enjoy with good odds as its much better option for many. |

^^ PCB was trying hard for Asia Cup but BCCI already shoot them down for obvious reason and they are not going to visit there anytime soon so we can rule this possibility out.
For ICC tournament one possibility seems manageable if any 3 subcontinent countries bids for joint hosting rights? for ex; Ban-SL-Pak ? then Pakistan can host few WC games.
You mention good point if PCB do some home work then surely they can manage WC event with the help of BAN-SL because these three countries have enough gounds and other structure and India can go alone for this all in future but sadly here we have too much politinal involved so this is also just dream which is very hard to come true. |

Players getting paid is going to be a worry for many sports associations around the world including cricket players. The England Cricket Board is going to have some big problems in coming days and the same with the Australian Cricket Board. Like I have mentioned in other sports threads, the economy is going to play a big part in all sports after this virus is over, that's what we all should be worried about right now as we may see some sports teams never return after this, remember that money runs all the sports around the world and this has taken a big hit for many sports associations so we could see some not return.
Well... why should the sports players be given special treatment? Here in India, many of the states have asked the government employees to forfeit one month's salary. With the economy in deathbed, there is no other option. Private companies are laying off excess staff and millions are without a job now. I don't think that cricket players can be immune to all this. They need to forfeit some of their earnings. But BCCI is not facing any problem as they are one of most richest Cricket Board in world and they have much funds for paying all for some long time without any problem on other hand many Government and Private companies have nothing option like this so they have to do things like this we are also facing many serious troubles as Ramadan and Eid is coming and peoples are worrying about this all kids are also not happy with this all. |
