2141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: La Liga (Spanish League) Prediction Thread 2020/21 on: March 26, 2021, 08:31:07 PM
Barcelona or Atletico for the title.. Could go both ways I think. Real Madrid also ha a chance, there are still many matches to play.
Don't completely write Zidane and his title hungry boys off yet, remember how he always does it when the season is this tensed. Remember when he took the mantle of leadership from Solari. We should be expecting clean winnings from Real Madrid in the coming week matches. I'm actually rooting for Barcelona to win this title so as to give Messi a standing ovation for his potential last season with the Blaugranes.
2142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the Nigeria Central bank confusing its citizens? on: March 26, 2021, 07:40:56 PM
The Central Bank is not only clueless with her decisions, they are so inhumane and  wicked. Imagine labelling the whole Bitcoin transactions as a medium by which terrorists operate and buy ammunitions in Nigeria as if it is not very possible with the banks as well, Bitcoins transaction transaction is an open source that can be used by anyone. They had been Militia attacks in the South South region of Nigeria before the introduction of bitcoin, how were those terrorists able to carry out their attacks? They have said in a statement released by;
Quote
A senior executive with Nigeria’s central bank, Adamu Lamtek, has reportedly denied that his institution had placed restrictions on the use of cryptocurrencies. Instead, Lamtek, who is the deputy governor responsible for corporates services at the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), says his organisation’s directive only applies to the banking sector

Imagine Banks in other countries have started adopting the use of crypto in their sector, here in Nigeria the Central Bank is closing down the accounts of traders, where as companies like Binance, Crypto.com, Luno, Paxful and several others will start laying off some of thier services in Nigeria which will render a lot of youths working with those companies jobless.
2143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: What made you prefer Hitbtc over Binance? on: March 25, 2021, 10:50:04 PM
Hitbtc is not match for Binance, I think Binance is currently the biggest company in the crypto space. You can't compare a baby exchange like Hitbtc to Binance. Wherever you heard that from is probably lies. I don't even use Hitbtc.
2144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: altcoin binance smartchain wort it? on: March 25, 2021, 10:46:13 PM
There are several great projects on the Binance Smart Chian doing great since inception. Take for example SFP, Cake, treat finance and others I have forgotten to mention here. It is up you as an investor to do your due diligence by researching coins listed on the DEXs available on the BSC. Note; there are several scams there as well.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Nicole wants to give up her taxi in exchange for bitcoin on: March 25, 2021, 10:30:52 PM
What happens to her if she starts buying bitcoin daily with interest from her Taxi? Bitcoin is a very volatile investment it needs patient and security. I believe she's quitting her taxi to focus on Bitcoin because of its security. I wouldn't advice her to go that way however, if she's cool with her decisions. I believe she's old enough to make decisions that would grow her. Whatever everyone tells her now is an added advice to already made up mind of hers, just give her the dangers involved in not securing your bitcoin properly and allow her blossom on her new adventure.
2146  Economy / Speculation / Re: Are you guys happy if bitcoin will dropped to $10k? Why? on: March 25, 2021, 10:18:39 PM
Nothing is very impossible but to me I don't think it will be happening anytime soon, Bitcoin is staying up for a long time already. It would have done the same thing it did in previous years during the month of March but went against the popular sayings that "March is a bear season". If it goes below $10k I will be happy to buy few sats as well.
2147  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some of the unspoken problems associated with bitcoin use. on: March 25, 2021, 06:30:02 PM
These facts you raised have been discussed before, they are not actually related only to Bitcoin especially the part where you mentioned "Regulations" and "Adoption" the fact remains that Bitcoin was created for everyone to be able to own their assets individually without the involvement of any third party be it bank, even your spouse or your relatives and the transactions can be accessed in an open ledger formats. It is really not designed for the non techy people as gold is even openly available it is not everyone who owns a quantity of gold.

Now let's talk about the price and it's volatility, several companies like Tela and some magazines have started accepting Bitcoin payments, the more adoption it's getting the higher the price and popularity will triple. Time Magazine: Will start to accept crypto for subscription
You can actually avoid unnecessary huge transaction fees by using Segwit wallets,  you can check what Segwit wallet is here; https://support.edge.app/support/solutions/articles/8000069591-what-s-the-difference-between-a-bitcoin-segwit-wallet-and-a-bitcoin-no-segwit-wallet-

It was a really bad decision to sell Eriksen I think. Maybe his performance in the last season was not good but the older statistics of him was quite good. He was really helpful for the team. Now he is at Inter but he hasn't even scored a goal or made an assist in the Serie A so far in this season.
Very likely he was sent out because the Tottenham team was getting tired of his style of plays, he was really a joy to watch at his prime in Tottenham during the time of AVB as the head coach. His curling free kicks earned him  national ovations across the league. Players lose forms due to several reasons, I think his  at Inter is as a result of location and lack of motivation. I really enjoyed watching him play during the 2014/2015 EPL season. Though the season is almost rounding up he will likely get used to his teammates and start producing wonderful results, despite the fact he hasn't scored Inter is still topping the league.
2149  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2020/2021 on: March 24, 2021, 11:04:12 PM
Just imagine that Bruno had teammates which not miss 90% of the goal chance where he assisted? Rashford, Martial, Greenwood... that they were a little more skilful at the key moments, Bruno will be for sure MVP of the championship.
Such players do not exist and Bruno can not win MVP when 90% of his goals are from the spot-kick and disappearing against big teams. The real MVP singlehandedly carry their club to glory week in and week out, contributing to at least 80%. Jack Grealish in an average team is hitting 9-10 rating week in and week out.

Manchester United fans here Smiley and I am totally agree with this. Bruno is a great player but not good enough to win the MVP. By some miracle, he might end up winning the top goal scorer this season. Salah hasnt score in the last 5 premier league matches so it probably will be Bruno against Kane. Kane might not get on his best form with Son being injured so yeah Bruno might have some chances

Bruno is not deployed by Ole as a full striker he plays behind Martial and Rashford most of the time, so he will luckily only be scoring penalties and be jumping like a teddy bear Harry Kane on the other hand at his prime was running pass agile defenders and scoring spectacular goals though those goals didn't yield any effort to win him a trophy. But he is a quality striker, the only thing that detoriated his career is the departure of Erisken to Inter. If Sisioko is fit Kane will be banging in goals because most of the efforts wouldn't be on Ali alone, he will be distributing passes regularly to Kane. But Mourinho has a killing tactics. He prefers defence to attack.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Time Magazine: Will start to accept crypto for subscription on: March 24, 2021, 10:47:45 PM
It seems NFT is the next biggest thing in crypto after Defi hypes going down so far, as they promised to give out some NFT in their tweet. This is a great news, maybe television broadcasting corporation like CNN, BBC should accept payments for their monthly subscriptions too as everyone is going private of late and avoiding unnecessary taxes from the centralised bodies. I would love Punch and other newspaper industries to emulate this as well. More competition, more adoption and Elon Musk's effect earlier is challenging other businesses to adopt crypto.
2151  Economy / Speculation / Re: Stop comparing BITCOIN on 2017 & 2021. It will never be same again on: March 24, 2021, 04:03:33 PM
Seeing bitcoin below $20k with the current adoption all over it is very impossible might even get to $100k soon. The 2017 hype was worth it, a lot of people who came in immediately dropped their bags and crashed the price a bit. We'd want it to the moon too. Grin
2152  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who's gonna buy Tesla using Bitcoin? on: March 24, 2021, 01:39:30 PM
If I find value in the Tesla, I don't mind sacrificing my BTC for it.
It makes sense to me spending my money on things I need to feel and touch that is the value I derive from stacking up my bitcoin. It is still considerable If I have enough BTC I will definitely spend few of them on Tesla.
Would you buy Tesla using your Bitcoin or you will wait to $100K?  Roll Eyes

Both  Grin, i'll wait untill it reaches 100k, then buy a new car Wink
That being said, i'm a fan of Toyota, so i might have to wait untill they accept BTC payments...
Lol, has there been any news of recent linking Toyota to cryptocurrency? There has to be a foundation for a roof to be placed. I would love to see this as well.
2153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to create RBTC wallet. on: March 24, 2021, 12:07:43 PM
Trying setting up this yesterday but I got strucked and it stopped responding, this yours is more direct than the one I watched on youtube. Could you tell me the version of Metamask? Thank you for the great work.
I'm sorry if you faced some challenges while setting up your metamask. I'm on both android and Windows. There has no been any hindrance since I set mine up. Kindly ask your questions on the thread will try answering them wherever you're stuck.
For Android it is version 2.0
2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar - UEFA Qualifiers on: March 24, 2021, 11:32:02 AM
From tomorrow games I don't see any particular interesting game to watch on Tv.The stronger teams are playing against weaker ones so in theory they should win.I am not going to bet though as surprises have happened all the time in the qualifiers.
Spain - Greece will be a fantastic clash, though Spain has more star players. In their last 4 encounters Spain managed to only win with a goal margin 2 out of the four matches ended with both teams finding the back of their respective nets. Betting on BTTS is a nice market. Even with the fact that Sweden is in the group Greece would want to stay up a bit too.
2155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / How to create RBTC wallet. on: March 24, 2021, 11:08:38 AM
Fast growing Blockchain companies like  Soveryn and others adopted the RBTC Blockchain and people are finding it difficult to set up their wallets and fund it. I hope this my little guide helps few people;
I will be going with Metamask as it is the simplest and of other wallets
Download Metamask for Android  iOS Windows

Now navigate through the Settings Menu on your Metamask and click Add Network then add these in their respective orders;

Network Name:RSK Mainnet
New RPC URL: https://mainnet.sovryn.app/rpc
Chain ID: 30
Currency Symbol: RBTC
Block Explorer URL: https://explorer.rsk.co

After you must have added RBTC Network on your Metamask, it is left for you to fund the wallet to be able to run transactions on the network. You can fund the address through several ways. RBTC is trading on Kucoin and Bitfinex.

2156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: March 23, 2021, 03:47:17 PM
No one has mentioned Pancakeswap token (Cake) it is a very nice coin to hold. It has a very nice future like Uni and BNB as long as you continue to stake your cake to earn dividends on the pancakeswap it is a nice investment plan to be honest.
2157  Economy / Economics / Re: Nigerian Banks To Close Accounts Involved with Crypto on: March 23, 2021, 01:25:03 PM
Lol this must be the dumbest central bank in the world, seriously how do you just start closing people’s accounts when you have not even given out a first warning to let them know that they shouldn’t be involved in crypto trading? They don’t just start closing people’s account without letting them know, it’s totally wrong, they should first warn them and give them time. I even saw a topic opened by someone living in Nigeria and he said someone there had his accounts blocked the same week they made this announcement.

Well, it’s their loss, because they will be losing big crypto companies like Binance, so that’s a loss a for them too. And it’s not like people there will stop trading crypto lol. I don’t know why governments always think that by banning crypto, they can stop money laundering, they have forgotten that having centralized exchanges helps them keep an eye on what’s going on in the crypto world, when they decide to ban all these centralized exchanges that means they will lose sight of everything taking place in the world.
It is actually lack of vital information of how the how the technology is been done, they are adamant and they are too proud to admit it. Banning or restrictions of bank accounts trading crypto is not the ultimate way to even stop the use of crypto in Nigeria. They lack logical reasons why they are regulating it. They already issued warnings to Banks not operate with exchanges, fine why the restriction of bank accounts susceptible to trading of crypto?
2158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: U.K. Bitcoin trader to Pay $572 Million Penalty for perpetrating a Ponzi Scheme on: March 23, 2021, 09:18:19 AM
It is good he is made to face the consequences of his  scamming actions, such scams were conducted in Nigeria through Tron and Ethereum last year. The lied to gullible victims that they were conducting Smart contracts. They swindled a handful of those coins from there through these Ponzi schemes leaving the victims traumatized and helpless.

Steve Jobs already had a lot of things to do before he died, I'm not condemning your theory but there is 99% likeliness that this is false and misleading. I believe Stave Jobs had relatives that could have said a few things about him being the inventor of Bitcoin if he was the one behind the pseudonym of Satoshi Nakamoto. Untill you have logical proofs to bring, We still believe the idea that Satoshi isn't known yet.
