2141  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling with Fiat or Crypto? on: January 04, 2020, 10:37:47 AM
Well, what's better to use? For me, it depends on the gambler or the person that will play gambling, and I will make an example to myself, honestly, I tried gambling using fiat money, and it's not a pleasant experience even though I'm with my friends. Why? Because of the hassle in commuting, the noise around the casino place, the crowded people that makes you distract and lose your focus, and worst when you go broke and nothing left, its a bad day, and how will you go home will be your problem. I know it may sound it's my fault, but I admit yes, but there are a points that we really don't want to experience when we are playing, right? So after I quit then I discover gambling using a crypto and what's good in it is that I only use the little portion of my earnings in crypto to play and I find it more comfortable because I can play anytime and anywhere I want just to have a phone with internet connection and of course a crypto, and also you can play with your friends only. See, it's more convenient for those who don't want to hassle.
2142  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Earning Interest with Bitcoin? on: January 04, 2020, 02:01:16 AM
Well, I think it's risky to lend to someone or large companies they could access your informations, and maybe bad things will happen.? And I personally don't want this lending thing because what if the borrower didn't intend to pay the coins they borrow, or you will have a hard time asking them to pay immediately, or maybe they wi scam you right? So it's perhaps it's better to lend someone you know, and you can trust just to make sure.
2143  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons to be thankful than hate him on: January 03, 2020, 11:16:52 AM
Well, I don't get it if there are members here that haters of bitcoin, then why are they here in the first place? I think they are just closed-minded that even a little bad things happens in bitcoin they will hate immediately and we can't avoid it we can't please all the people we cant change their mindset, and only themselves can do it, my only concern is why don't they open their mind and know more first before judging the bitcoin and its validity, in fact, I know more people that change their lives with the use of bitcoin and if they blaming bitcoin and accusing as scam or what that their own fault. Bitcoin or crypto world is a world that is not safe nor not dangerous; it's for the user to educate themselves before entering in this difficult world.
2144  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What will be Gift of Santa Claus in this Christmas for Bitcoin Hodlers? on: January 03, 2020, 07:48:09 AM
Well, it may sound cringe and funny but i also ask or wish on the day of Christmas not just in Santa claus but in god also that next year will be a good thing for hodlers like me especially in the year 2019 the performance of crypto or bitcoin is not that good to the point that we see the lowest price of bitcoin in 2019, and i thought that it is the end of bitcoin, but still i keep being optimistic and believe that one day things will be alright so i buy more bitcoin at its lowest price and still holding it until now. So this year i wish more opportunities and good things to happen in the crypto world to be specific in bitcoin.
2145  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin experience in 2019 on: January 03, 2020, 06:46:26 AM
Well there's not much happened for me in 2019 it's just a normal year, maybe because the price or performance of bitcoin is not quite good i end up buying more bitcoins and holding it until now so I was really hoping that this year will be a year with full of opportunities and good things will happen unlike in the year 2019. All I did in 2019 is just doing some job to earn bitcoins by posting because I cant also initiate in trading as I can't see a good moment if there's a good moment. Unfortunately, I missed it, but still, I'm being optimistic and thinking that someday or next year maybe will be the year that good things will happen in the crypto world, especially in bitcoin's performance.
2146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How we can introduce bitcoin to local people on: January 03, 2020, 02:08:48 AM
One day, I think to myself about how to spreads bitcoin to other people. After I create threads https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5191717.0, I see many of us don't try or don't have time to come into a gathering or make a meetup. So how we can introduce bitcoin to local people in our country if we are not trying to tells them about bitcoin? I know that will related to the regulations in every countries but we can introduce to our close friend so they will spread it into their closest friends too.

And if this is succeed, I think cryptocurrency will grow step by step. I know we can spread bitcoin online, but that doesn't mean all people in your country are aware of bitcoin. How they can know bitcoin if they never use the internet to search the news while we can tell them about bitcoin and another coin by offline.
It will be difficult for us to explain to other people about bitcoin if they didn't use the internet or a computer because they will be not aware on some terms that we will gonna say. I think the best way to introduce bitcoin to other people is by showing proof that we earn and get benefits from it because people will not get interested to something if they will not have any good benefit from it.

Yeah, but I don't think we should focus on the financial benefits that Bitcoin can give to these people. The benefit we should introduce to them should focus around the usability and utilization of it so that whenever the value fell, they won't think of exiting crypto just because  the market seems to be going down.
I think I take the first step that they are referring because, in our country, there are a lot of people who know the concept of bitcoin or crypto, but they don't really have in-depth knowledge about it. And because someone also introduce crypto world to me, so I'm returning the favor by introducing and guiding my classmates and friends how to earn, let's face it mostly the people that enter the crypto world think of how to earn or aims to earn a profit, so I use that intention to introduce them it, at first they hesitate because they know the risk and they think it is a scam but after I guide them and show them the proof they convinced and right now I'm continuing to spread my knowledge in crypto on how to earn to help others in their financial issues and for them to earn by themselves.
2147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What is the fate of Scammers if bitcoin later becomes a traceable Currency. on: January 02, 2020, 12:21:06 PM
Bitcoin as a currency that is decentralized, they is no Headquarters for Bitcoin and it has no Central office where they distribute information concerning Bitcoin, Like illicit transactions that money was lost but recovered after some investigations through the distributed information.

like someone said on my previous thread that more people will be comfortable using bitcoin if these features comes into place.

Share your thoughts.
There is always a ways, like in fiat almost all the transactions are traceable but the hackers still find a ways on how they can outdo the traceable transactions.

Therefore there is no 100% guarantee that there will be no hackers in crypto once the transactions will become traceable. What I can say is that, it can lower the hacking rate but it will not eliminate the hackers.
Because of the generation or era now which is technology is getting bigger and getting more advanced also the hackers have more power over the cyber world and yes even a decentralized and secured bitcoin cant be safe to hackers but also hackers cant fully grasp the bitcoin or fully penetrate it and in fact internet world or cyber world is not a safe place at first place. So if bitcoin will become tracesble the hackers will have more power and victims will become higher and also governments will overtake the bitcoin which is why we trust bitcoin because it is not traceable and don't have tax, but if this case happens then maybe, lots will lose trust and interest in bitcoin.
2148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin scams and new Bitcoin users on: January 02, 2020, 10:39:05 AM
That's why don't you ever ever trust easily in bitcoin. You should know more first before engaging with cryptocurrency. Having a lot of knowledge and experience is important for you to know the do's and dont's in cryptocurrency.

Scammers are professionals in fooling people and take their money without even being caught by the internet society. They are expert in taking your money instantly and it is because of your cooperation. So in the first place, try not to have a transaction with a people with least personal information.

A big issue, I think, is that people all over the world are exposed to the internet (and everything that comes with it) at such speed that they cannot grasp it. Isn't it understandable that they are gullible? Yesterday they could not even talk to people 100 miles away, and suddenly people all over the world promise them free money.

I don't have a solution, and they will have to go through a hard learning phase, but I think I understand why people fall for the tricks of scammers. It happens here (northern europe) as well with older people who are easily overwhelmed. Not saying that all older people are like that(!) but they are easier victims than those who grew up with new technology.
I notice that some or many people also think that crypto, bitcoin is a big scam well maybe because they experienced it or they have someone they know that experienced it or got a news from others experienced it but when I ask that person why do you get scammed and got broke I don't see a valid reason why they gone through that why? Because they don't totally know what they are doing, what they are entering, and who they are transaction with, and what they are clicking. This was the common problems of the beginners, as a 5-year-old in crypto world or in this industry I know a lot of things and how this world works but after I've heard what they said i synthesized that they don't have a deep learning in what they are doing without a guide or an expert guide they do things out of greed to earn money or anything so the problem is not to blame in those peoples that are scammers or what, the one to blame are those beginners, unexperienced that do things without an in-depth knowledge. Yes there are a lot of scammers, site that are scams there's a lot of them, but not all of them are not like that so it is very important to know where, what, when to engage and who they trust and they can classify it if they have the required knowledge, in short, the key to becoming successful in bitcoin or crypto world is to become knowledgeable about it.
2149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN? on: January 02, 2020, 04:54:54 AM
You know this question is unavoidable...

DID I MAKE A MISTAKE INVESTING IN BITCOIN?

A lot of people have heard of the benefits achievable with BTC investments and decided to invest.
The recent market setbacks have brewed a very big question in the minds of new investors...

What will be your response to this question?
If you made an investment in Bitcoin because you thought that it is alway profitable, then it is a mistake. You need to choose a right time when the price drop.
I notice that new investors and newbies in crypto world has the reason in joining because they taught that it is profitable and they can get a big profit easily which is wrong that's why most of them face failure in crypto world and will blame the crypto and other sites that it is a scam which is very wrong. In fact, it's their fault why they face some situation as that because they don't get to know what crypto is and how it works out of greedy in money they enter into a world that they don't have a prior knowledge about it, working to earn in crypto is not that easy, and there's no such easy and free earning, veterans in crypto knows it best, and I also know how hard it is. They, we should know that as long as we are in the crypto world, we need also to continuously learn and explore. Let's not stop in one place, or we will never make progress.
2150  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be realistic for the world to run on cryptocurrencies? on: January 02, 2020, 02:29:33 AM
Education is really the key for them to be able to accept what is the benefits of making cryptocurrency run world wide. Some of the government has a bad views on the crypto because they are lack of knowledge of what it can do and how can it change the economy of the world. In this generation, we really need to adopt on whats on trend like crypto.
To be able accepted bitcoin as legal currency payment maybe have giving educational about how to use bitcoin and what the feature of bitcoin become legal currency payment than using fiat currency, many people still not understand and government always allowed with new digital currency payment if look benefit than using Fiat currency like USD right now.
Cryptocurrency or the world of crypto is a difficult thing not all can fully understand it in a short period, in short, it requires to learn it as it is, so that's right for the people to fully understand crypto world they need to fully understand it, in fact, I've read an article which a university offers a courses to the student about the crypto currency they will teach about what is crypto and how to earn to it. So maybe if a country's government takes a one step forward to this regards, then maybe they can be able to accept and adopt the usage if cryptocurrency; they will see how beneficial and useful using crypto to the lives of people. It will be a long journey for us to reach this world that run by cryptocurrency, but maybe there is a possibility that one day it will cam true, and that will be good for those who are already using crypto.

2152  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] Bitcoinmixer.org| New Mixer | Bounty Program on: December 14, 2019, 11:11:13 AM
Tried it out a bit. Seems to function like how other mixers should, contains pretty much everything a mixer should with nothing lacking in my opinion. I tried the 4 hour delay and the instant one, there being a bit of delay but was within the margin of error. I am kinda bothered with the delay though. I know it was set with the intention of the ones being used the most, but it still kinda limits the freedom I could get since the delays are set in stone by you guys. Other than that, it looks pretty good. The fees are pretty cheap compared to the mixers I know, and the UI is pretty simple and easy to understand.

2154  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Have you ever done to experiment to determine percentage of winning? on: November 28, 2019, 04:58:56 PM
Yes, you can get the percentage of winning through that, but in the end, could be quite inaccurate at times. Lets imagine you testing 10 games everyday and on average you win 5 games per day. Now imagine if you tried to play 20 games, you're supposed to win an average of 5 by the end of the 10th game, but no. You kept losing until the 15th game and only then did you win.
Percentage of winning is easy to get, and most of the time it hovers at around 50% or even less if you're actually unlucky, but thats it. It doesn't really help in determining your chances of winning everyday, its more like you just determine the average times you won everyday.
2155  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 7 on: November 27, 2019, 04:33:03 PM
I'd rather not. Its very dangerous to let a kid stay alone with cash situations after all, even if I am gambling for enjoyment. Though if it was done, well what's done is done. No use in getting angry over it. They are kids after all. BUT, if my entire deposit was actually destroyed because of what was done, well, its time to get angry all right. Though it was partly my fault for leaving it, well, the blame is shared on both of us. But since I'm an adult, I know what happened, but the kid didn't so I got to tell him/her what happened and what are the consequences.
2156  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to systematically learn to trade crypto from being a newbie? on: November 20, 2019, 06:04:02 PM
Terminologies, usage of coins, what does this button do this button that. That's basically the beginners guide to trading. You learn, learn, learn, then apply it by yourself. Stop letting others paint your way of trading or style of trading, find your own style which imho, results in a better experience in the future. Plus, losing a bit when starting beats losing a lot in the late game because of a strategy you only followed. I'd recommend trying virtual trading to get a feel about how to trade, but don't expect the same experience felt there to be the same in real trading. Virtual trading is more on how to let the beginner understand the ins and outs of a trading experience.
2157  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How to start in the world of blockchain as a developer with phyton? on: November 17, 2019, 03:34:46 PM
Go to Development & Technical Section of the forum, start brushing up on terminologies used and learn how to understand the program or process of BTC and its network. There's a lot to learn from there and honestly, It could be quite overwhelming when you first enter it. But it should really help your abilities improve if you could understand and integrate those that you understood in your learnings. You never know, you maybe the next person to improve a huge part of the BTC network.

Though start small, like what I said, learn the terminologies and meanings in the forum AKA start reading random threads in that section. Don't participate in discussions but you can ask for questions if you want though.
2158  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Different odds for a same bet on: November 16, 2019, 06:22:39 PM
Giving my opinion, it's really rather confusing if you look at it at first and try to understand how the odds process. Though I'm pretty much on the side of the gambling sites just simply providing an algorithm for their system which resulted in the odds that is given by OP. They are relatively close to each other after all, that or gambling sites intentionally do such a thing to confuse their players. They take a survey of most odds that are taken by gamblers, and adjust the odds accordingly so that they profit a small margin after doing so. Its just my opinion though.

What hardware wallet do you recommend to get for storing ETH long term? I heard that the new Nano Ledger got compromised.
The best hardware that i know is ledger because it is really safe to store all of your coins there that no hacker could open it and steal your funds. Just don't forget your private key and misplace your wallet.
