2161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HACKEN] FIRST DECENTRALIZED MARKETPLACE FOR WHITE HAT HACKERS on: November 17, 2017, 04:43:12 PM
Sounds interesting. I would have visited.

Yes, as we all know (at least those who actively follow Hacken's activities), the team is great in marketing, and particularly - content marketing and event organization!
So I hope we can see some new event with Mr. McAfee in the nearest future!
But that's of course depends from John McAfee himself (as he is VIP person in IT world and very busy).
2162  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Russia on: November 17, 2017, 04:40:01 PM
I think Russia may back up ETH and make it russian bitcoin. Yeah, it stupid though based solely on the fact, that it russian developers behind it. But who knows, right? Could ban all bitcoins transactions and access to exchanges in a matter of days.

Hard to imagine this)) By the way Vitalik Buterin is citizen of Canada, and he resides in Singapore.
Moreover ETH is already established currency, how you imagine that Russia will take control over it? Or will create another fork? (Like Ethereum Classic exists, but it's not so popular)
2163  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto currency Book | Register to get the book , FREE on: November 17, 2017, 04:37:13 PM
Registered! Good luck with your book! Do you plan to make printed version as well? (Just in case I might help with this, I published several printed books, but not on crypto topics)
I'm also planning a book in the future, if you are interested I can let you know about it.
I plan to publish it in print and distribute (sometimes sell, sometimes give for free) in different places for the people who are new in this ares, with the goal of promoting crypto-currencies in masses)

tenkuna, what do you mean by earn bitcoin?
It's like earning money in general, just focus on what you are good in.
Or if you mean free bitcoin, there are faucets, but they won't give you much
I checked many faucets and listed the best ones on my site http://flodner.com/crypto-faucets/

But honestly, faucets are the waste of time. May be a while ago they gave good amount of satoshis, now when the price of BTC is high, you need to click A LOT to receive something
2164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [KRB] Karbo (Ҝ) Карбованець - Cryptonote / Anon on: November 17, 2017, 04:22:16 PM
Karbowanec is on the rize!

I'm mining Karbowanec with old laptop and I mined something around 2 Karbo a month, so I mined 3 Karbo, and 1 more will receive soon.
Good news that price for Karbowanec is rising, it's almost $1, and I remember when I discovered Karbowanec it was around 1 Hryvnya.

We can promote Karbowanec more, i.e. I can accept Karbowanec for online marketing services, or can exchange to other crypto.
I traded Karbowanec on Cryptopia - everything works fine!

Of course I mine Karbowanec just for the process, I think laptop takes more electricity in cost. But I also recommend Karbowanec to those who want to mine on PC or on laptop with CPU.

Also I made review for youtube, a while ago https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dPZwW-z9jJU
(Devs, if you want to give me some KARBO, you are welcome)))
It has almost 300 views, that's good, as I didn't promote it specifically.

A while ago I wrote about Karbowanec on Steemit
https://steemit.com/cryptocurrency/@flodner/karbowanec-cryptocurrency-that-is-mined-by-cpu-faucet
https://steemit.com/giveaway/@flodner/free-cryptocurrency-faucet-karbowanec-available-now
https://steemit.com/dtube/@flodner/didvah55

And what I can suggest you devs, may be you can run some faucet on Steemit or here on BTT to promote this cryptocurrency more.
2165  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining cluster Raspeberry pi 3 on: November 17, 2017, 04:10:08 PM
You can mine some other cryptocurrencies, which it is possible to mine with CPU (i.e. Karbowanec, which has good rise, almost $1 now, Gridcoin, Monero)
I thought to do it on Raspberry pi 2 (which I had but didn't manage to switch it to monitor and launched)
If  you'll mine Altcoins with your Raspberry pi - would be good to hear your experience
2166  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [HACKEN] FIRST DECENTRALIZED MARKETPLACE FOR WHITE HAT HACKERS on: November 17, 2017, 03:57:34 PM
Just read Hacken blog about McAfee.
"His contribution will assist Hacken to raise the business standards of the entire global cybersecurity industry."
I remember John McAfee was a speaker at one of the Conferences on Decentralization, which other crypto-projects he is involved in recently?
Anyway, congratulations with this!
I would be great if Hacken team will invite John McAfee for some event in Kyiv, Ukraine!
2167  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][HST][ICO] Horizon State - Decision Token - voting platform - sale over on: November 17, 2017, 03:50:11 PM
HST is listed on Coinmarketcap
https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/decision-token/

Also some info regarding Exchanges (from official Telegram):

Exchange announcement: KuCoin
The second of 3 imminent exchange announcements, we are pleased to confirm that Hong Kong’s KuCoin exchange will be the first to list Horizon State’s Decision Token (HST).

Deposits Available: Saturday 3pm UTC+8 (https://goo.gl/i4iFe4)
Live: Sunday 3pm UTC+8 (https://goo.gl/4njdKR)

Horizon State was approached by KuCoin just days ago, who were impressed by HST trading volumes seen on EtherDelta and observing a rapidly growing and energetic project community. Keen to move swiftly, KuCoin wanted not only to become the first exchange based in Asia to list HST, but the first in the world.

In the spirit of Horizon State’s democratic pursuits and ambitions for international reach, KuCoin’s listing of HST represents an important step towards achieving global exchange coverage, intending to enable convenient trading of HST for people from all corners of the world.

The first exchange to be announced was Cryptopia and HST will be listed there by the end of the month. The third exchange will be announced as soon as we are given the go ahead and will be listed by the end of the month as well.
2168  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and Russia on: November 17, 2017, 03:46:02 PM
Russia is a communist country just like china.Usually communist countries don't encourage liberal ideas. So,obviously they don't like to promote bitcoin which gives liberty to its citizens regarding financial activities.
/////
Russia is no longer a communist country, it has embraced a bit of capitalism with the government still controlling parts of the economy. At least on paper it's not a communist country anymore, more like a socialist combined with a totalitarian government.

I think both of your might be right. Russia is oligarchic dictatorship but with culturally communist (Putin said that fall of Soviet Union was the worst thing of XX century) attitudes. Just take a look how authorities stick to communist pasts, communists monuments and street names and also criticize other ex-Soviet countries for the process of decommunization.
I think at some moments Russia might pressure more bitcoin and cryptocurrency community, and then lots of crypto-entrepreneurs will ran away (some to Belarus, Ukraine, Baltic states, other and especially those who speak English fluently might end in USA and other countries).
As example you can see the stories of Berezovsky, Khodorkovskiy, and lots of others less famous businessmen.

2169  Other / Off-topic / Re: What wallets do you use? on: November 17, 2017, 03:35:22 PM
I use Blockchain.info and Jaxx. Also I use MyEtherWallet, but not for BTC, for tokens
By the way do you know some wallet like MyEtherWallet which has many better interface or some mobile version (i.e. Blockchain has nice mobile version)
I was also happy to receive some Bitcoin Cash on Blockchain wallet, at that time I did't have much Bitcoin before the fork, but still it was something
2170  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TVE | TheViralExchange | P2P Marketing | Earn BTC with Social Media | on: November 17, 2017, 03:21:57 PM
I think they need to work with companies which make ICO or any other bounty campaigns.
Of course using TVE won't be enough for bounty campaign, but it can be useful for using Twitter, Facebook, Youtube part.
As I saw, some bounty managers track everything manually, can you imagine tracking and counting retweets, likes if you have several hundreds or even thousands of participants?
TVE can be of good help for them
2171  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Українська (Ukrainian) on: November 17, 2017, 03:17:59 PM

(BTC, ETH, WAVES, GOLOS)
Це добре, відповідно люди зможуть купувати ETH одразу, щоб легше було брати участь в ICO
2172  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Українська (Ukrainian) on: November 16, 2017, 08:54:52 PM

2173  Economy / Economics / Re: Amazon and Bitcoin on: November 16, 2017, 08:50:46 PM
What I think it might be (and it would be very easy to implement) if Amazon will sell their gift certificates (for BTC on one site, for Eth on another).
For those who is interested in Amazon I would definitely recommend "The Everything Store: Jeff Bezos and the Age of Amazonof bi" by Brad Stone
There is interesting description of Amazon history and strategy
Amazon has strategy of buying niche leaders, and sometimes buying at a loss and they can afford running with losses for a long time, just for the sake to kill competitor.
Interesting, if Amazon comes seriously to crypto world, will they have similar strategy?..
2174  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin & other Countries cryptocurrency on: November 16, 2017, 07:29:03 PM
I think it will turn so, that some countries will have several cryptocurrencies (may be 1 state, and more originated from that country)
For example Russia has Sibcoin, Russiacoin, Putincoin (this shitcoin is on Coinmarketcap and it's funny to imagine if Putin knows about it or not)

Countries will be more active in this area of cryptocurrencies, I think some countries have good perspectives in this area

As for me I like the principle of Auroracoin

Some info from wikipedia:
"Auroracoin was created as an alternative currency to address the government restrictions on Iceland's króna, in place since 2008, which severely restricts movement of the currency outside of the country. Auroracoin was the first of a number of country-based cryptocurrencies.
By using the Kennitala national identification system to give away 50% of the total issuance of Auroracoins to the population of Iceland, a process dubbed the "airdrop", the developer hoped to bootstrap a network effect and introduce cryptocurrency to a national audience."

Really many people claimed it. Especially considering that Iceland itself is not a big country - the number is impressive.
"When phase one of the airdrop had completed on July 24, 2014 it was estimated that 1,126,674 AUR had been disbursed among 35,430 claimants, out of a total Iceland population of 323,002 (2013)"

I think that's fair way of cryptocurrency to be implemented.
2175  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: November 16, 2017, 07:20:39 PM
Please tell me more details why Waves was locked?
What's the reason?
By the way I have some problems on the Waves platform itself, I can't trade tokens there, I don't know why, but I have enough Waves balance (0.24) and the payment for transaction is much smaller.

Regarding Cryptopia - I like this exchanger, it has of my favorite cryptocurrencies, and also you can trade any crypto to Doge, and Doge is easy, fast cheap to withdraw, so you can also even trade small volumes.

I would also recommend you to include HST (Decision Tokens) they just finished ICO and trading volume is big enough that they are already listed on Coinmarketcap

Also I would be happy to see Burst on Cryptopia

And last but not least - if you create some kind of bounty campaign for BTT that would be great!
2176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [PRE-ICO] TRIVE ICO - HELP KILL FAKE NEWS - PRESALE EXTENDED UNTIL NOV 15 on: November 16, 2017, 07:13:42 PM
Very nice that David Mondrus is very active both online and offline!
I some day Trive will be able to organize own conference, in example "Try Trive" or something with interesting name.
David, you spoke to Jeff Berwick and he invited you to Anarchopulco, are you planning to go?
If yes, you'll definitely need to be a speaker there! You have great political understanding of conceptions, so you need to speak at similar conferences. I will try to go, but that's far away from where I live.

Wisnon, I think that opinion, forecasts can also be based on real facts and on fake facts, so there should be a pattern to track this as well.

I.e. let's take opinion about Bitcoin price, some people think it will raise up to 100 000 USD and higher, others say it's a pyramid and it will fall soon. We can't be sure about future price, but we can be sure that opinion that "Bitcoin is pyramid and it will fall soon" is false, and it was stated many times and is proved to be wrong and biased.
2177  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: TVE | TheViralExchange | P2P Marketing | Earn BTC with Social Media | on: November 16, 2017, 07:05:18 PM
1. how long does it take for tokens i have withdrawn to arrive in my wallet?

I have no relations to TVE team, but I'll be able to answer this your question, as recently I withdrew HST tokens from TVE.
This depends.
First of all it depends from the ICO and token, when they are released the process is that company sends its tokens to TVE and they make them available to withdraw to you MyetherWallet.
When you can withdraw them - they will appear instantly.
but because the different ICO specifics it might take a while for tokens to be ready after ICO

Also 1 more thing for TVE team - guys why don't you promote your service a bit more?
You have good opportunities as there are lots of campaigns going on now...

Also some ideas:
1) You can differentiate twitter (and facebook) by the number of followers
Many bounty campaigns pay 4-5 times more if you have good twitter
And in your system usually 1 Retweet is the same for all twitters, be it 1 Token or 1-2 Viral points.

I.e. my Twitter has 11K+ followers https://twitter.com/flodner
but for retweet I will receive same amount as person with new twitter with only 100 followers

2) Afffiliate system
I have several referrals, some of them did some tasks, others didn't
While there are not so many tasks at the moment, may be you can remove this "30 points" barrier?
I think it might increase TVE promotion among affiliates

3) If you can enable some other Crypto apart from Blitz - I think it also will be fine
Many people don't know this Cryptocurrency, and honestly I didn't hear about it before registration on TVE
2178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: Win $99 daily on Twitter! DAILY AGAIN DAILY on: November 16, 2017, 06:52:35 PM
If I already won, is it possible to win once again?)
2179  Local / Other languages/locations / Re: Українська (Ukrainian) on: November 16, 2017, 06:51:25 PM

2180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] Decision Token (HST) - Horizon State - social bounty (closed) on: November 15, 2017, 02:34:02 PM
Bounty campaign is closed (answering previous questions)
You can already trade HST on Etherdelta, other exchanges will be available at the end of a month
I would also suggest to join Telegram - there is huge conversation going on there!
