Congratulations. Sorry for the delay in paying out the bonuses due to the holidays. All eligible claims posted with the correct screenshot now paid up until this post.

OMG cancel the withdraw !!!
 Cry

There is very little time between a withdraw being confirmed from the email link we sent you and it getting confirmed on the Bitcoin network, so the chances of us being able to cancel it are almost zero.

I currently get 1250/hour which is a lot better than the base amount. It’s probably also a good time to buy lottery tockets given the 2:1 thing.

I thought that 1000% increase of the minimum payout was the best you could do with redeeming 3,200 reward points. And that would be much less than that what you are talking about. How have you managed to get that much? Also, is it a temporary thing for you, or will it stay like this forever? Does it depend on the Bitcoin price at the moment of claiming?

1. I have the 1000% increase activated yes.
2. It's a wagering bonus
3. It'll go, unless I keep gambling... There's probably ways to rig it so I get close to what I wagered back Grin.

There are 2 separate bonuses. The 1000% Free BTC bonus from redeeming rewards points lasts 24hours and the other one as @jackg says is a wagering bonus. That updates continuously based on how much you wager versus how much you win from free rolls. That one can last any period of time dependant on what you do. The base reward that everything is calculated from is tied to the BTCUSD exchange rate so the total you get after applying % bonuses obviously varies as well.

Hi long time no reply. Still love the faucet and sing its praises. Just a couple questions!

In the recent referrals commissions, is it displaying the sum of multiple days? if so how many?

I heard there might be a rebrand including more coins? is there an ETA or confirmation of th at?

Thanks  again!
If I'm not mistaken, recent display commission since the last weekly payout, which are made on Sunday.
I think they planned to add Dogecoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash and maybe some other coins, but maybe their plans changed since the initial announcement. I asked for more details about new website few weeks ago, but TheQuin don't have more information currently.

That's correct, recent is since the last weekly payout.

How can I access the mining thing here at freebitco.in? Can't seem to find it now. 😅

Thanks. 😊

We discontinued it over 6 months ago.

I have been on freebitco just for collecting btc from faucet  little bit of gamble with that balance , I get 10k to 15 k tickets  every week , bt never won lottery there ,  I have a little doubt now , why there is not a single player  who  have a proof that he won lottery there ? its all said by freebitco that player with this , this member id has won lottery for the round xxx

There are loads but you have to actually open your eyes and read. This thread contains several as do our main ANN threads.

I think Wetsuit does not prefer users signing into Freebitco.in with Gmail accounts, because they are very easy to create and they are also frequently hacked. I have seen several people complaining about security exploits on their accounts, when they use Gmail as their webmail provider. <A lot of the bot accounts also signup with Gmail accounts for services like this.>

So, it is actually better if people use more secure email providers to protect their Freebitcoin accounts... right?
How did you got that conclusion about Gmail. I suppose that majority of freebitco.in users had signed up with gmail, and it's not strange as Gmail is the most popular email service in the world. It's easy to create gmail account, but it's same thing with all major email services like Yahoo, Outlook and others - accounts creation is easy on all of them. What you're offering to use, because I don't see any difference. I only remember one problem with Freebitco.in and emails - Mail.ru blocked email messages from freebitco.in and users were forced to change it. For abusers probably it would be easiest to use services like Yopmail, but I'm not sure that this email is allowed on Freebitco.in
And I'm not sure why you're saying that Gmail isn't safe. It's unsafe if you don't care about security and use weak passwords, no 2FA and etc. But in such cases you're always unsafe, no matter which email service you're using Smiley

We do recommend Gmail as we have far fewer problems with them than other email providers. The abusers tend to prefer the cheap Russian email services. Accounts being hacked because they had their email hacked seems to happen regardless of which email service it is. Personally, I prefer Protonmail but that is for privacy reasons rather than security.

Hey there,

I've had this red message for 3 days now :
Quote
You have an invalid email address attached to your account. Please change it to one that is valid (by clicking on the PROFILE button in the top bar) so that you can receive password reset emails and payment notifications from us in the future. We recommend signing up to and using Google Mail instead of your current email provider.

TheQuin answered in post 6657:
Quote
We're not blocking any domains. That error only occurs when your email provider has bounced an email we sent.

Indeed, I noticed that my Gmail account was full and that I couldn't get any new emails. I made some space and can now get emails again, how can I enable my Freebitcoin account ?
I tried changing my account email, but it asks for my password, which I'm not sure of. So I signed off and tried changing it, but I don't get the reset email on my Gmail account (I get mails from other people and there's nothing in my spam folder).

Thanks in advance for you help ! :-)

PM me your user ID and/or the email address and I'll see what I can do but it is very difficult when someone doesn't even know their own password. That really is the minimum requirement in keeping your account secure.

I've made a small competition because I discovered back this new site (which was awesome when I discovered BTC) so wanted to do something with it:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5086116.new#new

Small competition for new users ^^

That's a nice innovation, good luck.

I am using Freebitco faucet from past more then 2 years but i never saw that anyone claiming or had result of 10000 on the freeroll. So can i get some view that whether that odd will be shown in result or it is just added for fun. Dont take me wrong as i have never seen this odd in last 2 years. I am just curious that whether someone achieved that odd or not. No newbie answer please i need genuine answer.

It only takes a tiny bit of research. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1850855.0

Smooth withdraw as always.

Thanks Smiley

You're welcome.

Hey there! Thanks for the great faucet.

I was wondering if anyone knows the bonus free roll decay algorithm for Freebitco.in? It seems to factor in a number of different things, and haven't seen a succinct description. Some people say if have more $ in the bank then it stops decaying altogether or at a slower rate?

For example, my current decay rate is about 2.5% per roll. Buying 1000 lotto tickets increased my progress to the next bonus by about 3.5%

There does seem to be a post from @TheQuin https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=320959.msg33423133#msg33423133 Which explains some of it. Either it must have changed or something isn't quite right?

If you do not want to gamble you can keep a balance above $50 to not have reduced rewards.

Most users will not need to keep the full balance though because their gambling history is also added up to calculate.

My gambling history is closer to $350, and my balance is just over $50 (~0.016 BTC) but I am still getting a decay.

Is there somewhere on the site that I can check how much decay is supposed to be?

Thanks

Teucor

I'm a little confused if you are asking about the reduced rewards or the free BTC bonus. The link you gave I was talking about the reduced rewards.
For the free BTC bonus it is simple, the percentage towards the next bonus goes up everytime you play Hi-Lo, jackpots or buy lottery tickets but goes down everytime you make a free roll. Balance has no effect.

I never had a Doge account and wetsuit hasn't asked to do any support on it, so I'm really not sure. It's not an important part of the business. He first started it to support the coin rather than make money and keeps it running just above breakeven. If it has been reduced that would be the reason.
Ok, thanks for reply. By the way, maybe you have some news about rebranding? When we can expect that rebranding will happen? I remember wetsuit or you initially said that rebranding will happen in summer, later I saw words "by the end of this year" if I'm not mistaken. I hope re-branded website will be launched sooner than new forum software Smiley

I'd put money on it happening before the new forum software.... but not much. Sorry, no update at the moment.

I've noticed Reward Point exchange rate increased to 2 satoshi each, because BTC price has dropped
anyone know at what bitcoin price the rate will be 1 RP = 3 satoshi? will we ever reach that price?
or is it better to encash my Reward Points now before it turns back to 1 sat Tongue

RP redemption price and lottery ticket price is 3.75% of the base reward ($0.002). So it will go to 3 sats at $2500 $3000. I remember not cashing mine RP in when it was at 4 because I thought it would go back to 6, so I'm not giving any predictions this time.

Edit: I forgot about rounding. It will round up to 3 sats when the price is 2.5 sats making less than $3000 BTCUSD price the trigger.
2173  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Big wins at FreeBitco.in on: December 06, 2018, 04:37:23 AM

You did. I paid it out myself.

Why this topic is bumped mostly with newbies with 1-2 posts?
Are they bots ?

I cant believe somebody wins in FreeBitco.in. I've been playing daily  for about 2-3 quarters and almost all the time lose everything in HI-LOW game...

Because we have many more customers than this forum has users. Most of them have to create an account here to claim their bonus. Keep playing and you might get lucky one day like they did.

All valid claims paid up until this post.

I'd answer that if I had a clue what it meant.

Why on my account created 1 year ago i receive only 0.00000035 BTC per free roll while my friend that created account yesterday get 0.00000048 BTC per roll? Long term users should earn more than new.

Gamblers earn more than new. That’s the system they have. Nexuses it’s more a casino site than a faucet site.

That's not quite right as Bitcoiner11Norbert pointed out. New accounts start off with full base reward to allow them to build a roll history before the formula is applied. Paying customers getting more than free players seems a logical and fair reward to me.

I thought the faucet was serving as an introduction to "newbie" players and once they were introduced and been with the site for a longer time, the faucet income are adjusted downwards because it served it's purpose?

I know the first goal of the faucet was to grow Bitcoin adoption, but things has changed since the site has changed it's business model from faucet to a gambling site.  Huh

They also had a different pay-out scale for people coming from different countries back then. Quality users from first world countries, got higher faucet pay-outs, because the faucet were funded by advertisers back then. <The currency strength also factored into the pay-outs that were done>  Tongue

That's a pretty fair summary. The way internet advertising revenues have decreased since then in general and more so for incentivised sites, I don't think it would be possible to run it like that anymore.

While hot discussion is going on in this topic, I'll just upload numbers that I rolled on Freedoge.co.in:

So close to $150...
P.S. I have question about Doge faucet - few years basic reward was reduced by 50% from $0.0015 to $0.00075. But now basic reward is just 0.24 DOGE (full reward would be around 0.72 DOGE). It means that reward was reduced one more time?

I never had a Doge account and wetsuit hasn't asked to do any support on it, so I'm really not sure. It's not an important part of the business. He first started it to support the coin rather than make money and keeps it running just above breakeven. If it has been reduced that would be the reason.

2177  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Faucet where you can get upto 1 BTC every hour **NEW PROMO** on: December 01, 2018, 08:31:10 AM
I realized only now the deposit wager bonus seems gone, but it pops up every now and then (with small bonus to claim). Does anyone know how this exactly triggers?

I'm not entirely sure which bonus you are asking about as there is no deposit bonus. If you mean the multiply BTC bonus the maximum bonus is 1% of wagered amount since the last time you activated a bonus. So it doesn't show until you have wagered enough to be eligible.

Tried it out, got a very small amount of Bitcoin.  Not sure why people are posting their addressed here.

is it not safe? i thought also that information is confidential.

That's also five years ago, not sure you'll get a reply from that user Grin.
There was a promotion of people posting addresses for something when it started (or uids or something).

Yes, there was a promo bonus for new users right back at the site launch. Then you needed to use a withdrawal address to sign up the account rather than an email address as now, so that was the account identifier. I don't think it is unsafe to post one of your Bitcoin addresses but it could affect your privacy if you also use that address for other purposes.

He is using these posts to advertise his bots. <It is as simple as that>

He is using this thread, because it is the most viewed thread about this site <Freebitco.in>, so it maximizes his chances to target his ideal audience.

Yes, he's been spamming the thread continually and giving the moderators a lot of work to do.

He has become a minor annoyance and if it gets out of hand, then I will just click the ignore button and he will be out of my life. For now, I will still read his comments, to see if there are something positive that can be derived from that. <If not, the ignore button is one click away>  Grin

That's good advice, the ignore button work very well.

Huh Today I noticed that the daily interest paid day by day is missing! ...
it's just a display glitch or minor server hiccup, happened a few times before
and if you check under stats tab, all personal stats are missing too
but I believe all member data/stats are just fine, stored, updated (server side) and backup properly

Yes, the stats server had an issue. It just needed rebooting. It doesn't affect anything other than historical data being temporarily off-line.

Hello @TheQuin, I noticed, EARN BTC page history of interest earned has been removed. Why?

Looks to be a server issue meaning the data is temporarily unavailable.

Yeah. That is what happens when your balance is less than how much you are trying to spend. Look at the PRICE PER TICKET and TOTAL AMOUNT.

Yea, i got it. 1 ticket = 2 sat. New rules!?

Thx!

The price is linked to BTCUSD. It's the drop in Bitcoin price that caused it. IIRC lottery tickets were 6 or 7 sats when we first started it.
